Sir, man, brother of another parents, we all cried when we heard her songs the first times. Remember, she has more experience in her craft, at age 16, than any 30 year old singer have. I AM SERIOUS. At age 11 she sang in front of over 40,000 people in Seoul. At age 8 she sang the first time for the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE. She performed for the Obahmas and Crown Prince Haakon of Norway when in Brazil. Fun thing is, as she herself said, "I can better communicate through music, than I can speak. Speaking is sometimes harder.".
Never be ashamed of tearing up with AJ, it is just normal.

Before she sang Bohemian on AGT I had not ever cried during a song. Well that's changed. The way she sings and the way she emotes a story is the best I've ever heard. She is positively The Goat 🐐. They'll still be playing Feeling Good in 400 years.

Well it takes more than tallent alone to be that big. I've not heard her own work yet but it would need to be of our time and in line with what the mainstream pushes. One thing about these youtube singers is that they all seem to go for big ballads and older music as its much better at showcasing their voices than more modern music. Gabriel Henrique, and Morissette Amon are the same. Incredible voices but no commercial appeal

I'm just being real. They don't cater to the present day mainstream at all. Nothing wrong with that at all. Personally I prefer that because bending to the mainstream would inevitably mean dulling themselves down. It's not a criticism of them. More a criticism of the mainstream. But, as the current mainstream stands, they lack that appeal
She's been my favorite vocal artist, ever, for the last 6 years. Never seen/heard anyone like her before. Now that she is 18, she is the GOAT, imo!

With that being said, in the almost 2 years that have passed since this performance, her voice has matured even more, even further cementing her status for me. I can't remember if you've reacted to her black and white studio recording of Adele's "Easy On Me", but if you haven't, you should REALLY check it out. Well, tallent alone won't change the world. If you look at the great artist who have changed the world they have all possessed much more than just tallent. Tallent alone creates a spectacle. I'm not saying she won't be that but it's a long road to actually changing the world as an artist. You need a message that has never been articulated in the way that you have articulated it

The first time she took a shot at this song she was 1 and a half and in her crib. She worked on it for the next 15 years until she was satisfied with it. This girl lives and breathes music. And is obviously a perfectionist. She often works very late at night. Sometimes singing in a parking garage. There are videos of her singing literally everywhere she goes. I sincerely believe she sings in her sleep.

Beautiful reaction😊 If you want to listen to one of the absolute best female vocalists ever, then look no further than to Angelina. Her voice has an extremely rare quality to it, the tonality is unmatched. As is her musical diversity. So far she's been doing covers from at least 8 different genres, and she's been absolutely nailing it all, many times sounding better than the original artist (IMO). A view that I not surprisingly share with most of her fans, who have been following her for years already. I gave you a suggestion for her performance of Easy On Me in the comments already, but you also need to check out her Nobel Peace Prize concert performance of The Righteous Brothers' "Unchained Melody", which she performed on December 11th last year, shortly before turning 18 ( Her birthday is on January 10th)

It’s fun watching Angelina melt peoples hearts! The team is spot on with Angelina (16) doing these videos with a classical and elegant style. Let’s just start off with the cinematography it is magnificent. Her vocals are through the roof IMO. She just killed it again! This was shot at the Melrose Antique Shop in Los Angeles and Grandma Mery was the Executive Producer and Cole McCarthy was the Director for this one too.
At her last concert on July 10th 2022 in Norway, when Angelina told why she sings this song and dedicated it to her grandmother Mery Zamani (her grandma was sick and couldn't accompany Angelina on the trip to Norway and both were very sad), I understand this song completely differently whenever I hear the line "Don't you dare walk away from me". 👣💯 *AJ* 💯 👣

Hey Charlie she just did two shows in Las Vegas (29th Feb) and from the video's I have seen so far it was epic. She was performing on the same stage as Elvis. They allowed phones so there are a heap of vids to choose from and obviously audio quality varies but mostly it is very good. She is two years older now at 18 and the power in her voice is stunning. Not talking about belting just the overall strength of her voice. It must have been overwhelming to be at one of the shows. This great Whitney song is just a taste. Absolutely phenomenal performance and arrangement Angelina never disappoints, her technique and technical ability surpasses her years, Angelina is without a doubt the most talented vocalist I’ve ever heard, I’ve been following her career for around 9 years now, I actually attended my first AJ concert in her home country Norway 🇳🇴 when Angelina was 12 years old,her rendition of ( It’s A Mans World) blew my mind, recently I attended Angelina’s concert in Vegas on the 29th February, Angelina stage presence was incredible her live vocals phenomenal, great reaction thanks 🙏
There are many great singers out there but Angelina has the 'it" factor! If you want the most beautiful tear jerking song, imo, that she has sung is Unchained Melody at the Peace Prize Award show. I loved it more than The Righteous Brothers, which was a favourite of mine in the past!

I love your love of music! Anyone with a pair of ears can hear that Angelina is a great singer, but musicians (vocalists included) are able to understand how gifted she is AND the amount of hard work involved in a performance like this.

Great reaction, Charlie! Angelina brings the kind of emotional authenticity to a performance that one is used to hearing from older artists. I'm convinced that her masterful use of dynamics plays a big part in that. I'm surprised you haven't found your way to reacting to the magnum opus of her early career: the music video of her arrangement of I Put A Spell On You. Because of technical problems and the wind she had to sing this song TWICE after 9 hours of flight and jet lagg.

The crazy thing is, a lot of people (including me) think the live version on _Allsang på Grensen_ is even better than this studio version. There are things she's doing here you would swear only sound that way because she could do as many takes as she wanted, and they could stitch the best parts together. And then you hear her doing those exact same things in the live performance. Crazy. (In particular, one of the things that gets me the most is how quickly she transitions from the flip upwards at the end of "This passion inside" to the low note of "I can't run from myself" at around 5m50s in this reaction video. She did that exactly the same way live.) And that live performance (as broadcast the day after it was recorded) was actually the second time she sang the song, with only about a minute between the two takes. There is actually (unedited) cell phone footage of both takes shot from the audience. They sound almost identical, with only some minor variations detectable when you play them simultaneously. So, my point is, not only can she sing this song this well in the studio, she can arguably sing it just as well live… twice is a row. Girl can saang.
Charlie, it's wonderful to watch a musician and singer react to the subtleties of what Angelina Jordan is capable of. She sings so fully from the heart and with so much performing and musical experience to play with that her songs often bring me to tears too. She knows how to play our heartstrings as if on a giant harp, producing so much feeling it's amazing. Thanks for a great reaction! You might want to wait until she records her new original, Princess of Ruins, and react to the studio version. She did a live performance, debuting it in her recent Las Vegas show but the sound is caught on the fly and will be different in the official version. That new song slayed me.

Love your reaction. Just prior to singing this, she sang it outdoors in Norway. As good as this was, in my opinion, her concert in Norway was even better. There it was live on a windy day in front of thousands of people and because of technical difficulties she sang it back to back. She actually wore the same dress.

Please react o the moving performance of UNCHAINED MELODY BY ANGELINA JORDAN PEACE PRIZE. its is a performance sensitively arranged because it was in front of the Children of Nargis Mohammedi being honoured but who was imprisoned after being whipped, and was on hunger strike. It is one of the most moving performances and has the stellar full KORK orchestra supporting her. For anyone who loves music, it's not to be missed. And better still a recent performance. ❤
