Doug Smith thanks for the comment, it's nice to keep the dust off of you when it's 100 degrees. That's the hutch for the desk. The video should be out next week.
Looks like over kill. but it seems like a perfect tool for a career person that does a lot of drilling into concrete and even drywall. very cool looking and congratulations on such an awesome tool.
Hey Mike, I just found a Festool TS-55-EQ plus on my areas craigslist. I got it and 2 tracks for$450.00 it may have been used once. I couldn't see any ware at all on it. Thanks again for the advice and encouragement!
Do you think this version still worth the price or should i go for the newest version? I like the old because the sds goes on the side not like the new that goes in front ot the sds.
Very nice attachment, however I do believe that Robert Bosch does a system which is powered by drill's own battery thus making it a little less bulky. Still very nice & I hope you'll have years of good reliable service. I trust your knee is getting better??? See you next time, kind regards.
ToolsConsumables I had the Hilti one years ago worked the same as the Bosch, I didn't want to spend a ton of money on it and after the job last month I'm still picking out dust. Thanks for the comment Mike
I just got one. I can't figure out what thr black button on top right side does. Manual says it's a"tool and bit adjustment button" it does nothing when I push it even if I push the vac shaft In some to mimick setting the suction thing even with bit like manual states.
I do a lot of drilling inside peoples homes. This kind of system is exactly what I need on old brick walls. But I think I might get a more compact version (e.g. the Makita DX01). Nice!
ThePhiloctopus No matter which one you buy they save your lung's. I looked at your comment rite after I used mine drilling through cinder block for a water heater vent we were installing. Good luck with your purchase. Thanks for the comment Mike
Would this system be effective on say 12mm x 40mm (1/2" x 1.5") holes? I have a feeling its designed more for 6.5mm (1/4") drilling run off a 3 or 6 cell 12v Battery.
I have the same SDS, good demonstration looks like a solid unit. Did you buy this to be neat and clean or for the new OSHA regulation. I haven't heard of any enforcement in MD yet.
Mike's Tool Shed I bought it to be neat but really to keep the dust out of my eyes lol. We use it a lot and it works great. Thanks for the comment Mike
please pay attention to the dust filter, its foam seals are very prone to break as poor design. during productions, Milwaukee Tools guys can find more or less 10% defects, nonconforming.
Hi Mike you should call your channel “Get the f*ck in here!”, sorry couldn’t resist, one question, does the depth tool work accurately or can you push past it, if you know what I’m saying. Thanks Mike. Oh also do you have Hilti drills and if you do could you see if its compatible please and thanks.
Danny when you have to work over your head and this prevents concrete dust from getting on you in 100 degree weather, the weight is not a factor LOL. It only adds 2 pounds to the drill. Thanks for the comment Mike
Nice piece of equipment, I'm sure you will get a lot of use with it. I see you have started your desk, can't wait to see the video on it. take care

Shaun Kennedy it works so well when your drilling over head. Thanks for the comment Mike
Great tool. If I were in the business where I had to drill holes in concrete I would get one in a second
Guy Sly it's a very nice tool, been playing with it and it works great. Thanks for the comment

Can you use this as a hammer drill and will the dust collect too?

Hi. Thanks for video. I am just wondering can this attachment be used while the drill is used in jackhammer mode. What is the cost of the filters?.
Carlos Oraison yes it’s designed for hammer mode. The filters are around $4.00 Thanks for the comment

I would like to see it in action...
Carlos Fraija I will do one on my next video. Thanks for the comment Mike
I just got one for 31 bucks no battery
wow.
Always nice when we get new toys.
Just curious though, how much weight does it at when combined with the hammer drill ?
Mark Luger about 2 lbs but keeping the dust off you st 100 degrees it's worth it. Thanks Mark.

Its a shame when people review new tools without actually showing us them in action.
cumbersome
