Have you done a tour of the boat and electronics that you use? How much do you rely on your electronics to find fish? You do a great job of just knowing where they are!
I don't have anything fancy as far as electronics, just two old Humminbird units with five inch screens. My boat is an older model as well, so I don't think too many people would be interested. I don't even turn my fish finders on most days.
Hey Dana, great videos that have definitely helped me be a better fisherman on Lanier. How late in the summer are you able to get stripers on the north end. I primarily fish the Gainesville to little hall park area
Thanks for watching! The majority of the Stripers have started migrating south for the summer, but there are still a few around up here taking advantage of the Shad spawn. Every year is a bit different, but usually by mid May they are mostly gone. I have stopped targeting them for the most part until next fall. I don't fish for them in the heat of the summer because you can't release them (they won't survive).
If you catch too many fish to keep in a single video, that is an epic day. One day I will get to experience a shad spawn bite. That striper was a whale. Its funny that the shad are trying to get frisky with your bait. lol
That Striper almost spooled me, and he wasn't the biggest I've ever caught. He was just an unusually strong one. I could feel shad hitting my bait on every cast. When that happens I know I'm going to have a good day.
Yay ! Great video Dana ! Anyone that loves fishing will enjoy your channel 😊
I hope so! It continues to grow, but slower than I'd like.
Amazing day Dana, love watching you bring in those nice stripers.
Thanks! They are one of my favorite fish. That fish almost spooled me.
Love those kind of days. Great job.
Thanks for watching!

Thanks! I have had a blast the last several trips.

Holy crap 😳 Nice catch . That one was huge !
Thanks 👍 I love catching them!
Really was a productive day! Lots of variety!
That was only the first half of the morning!
The bite was definitely hot! That first Striper was taking you on a tour of the lake, Haha.
That fish almost spooled me! It was a particularly strong one!

Man, you whacked em Dana. I need you to come to Hartwell and help me out lol
I need to get up there, but work has been too crazy. I’ll get there.
Grandpa says that’s my boy!!
I learned from the best!
Thanks for the information at the end Dana. Did you get into those fish today?
Thanks! This was a few days ago. Today was even better.
Right place, right time once again. What a day, Dana. The points you work are nearly always productive. The creeks seem to be where you do your best.
Thanks! Going to the creeks works on any lake. I just go where the fish are.

Great video!
Do you have a preference on line and rod size for your swim baits?
Thanks! I use a 7 foot medium fast Ark Cobb series rod and 12 lb Gamma Fluorocarbon. Also, a Shimano SLX reel.
@@FCPFishing Thanks for the advice!
@@nicknieves3685 No problem. I use Gamma Fluorocarbon on all of my rods. It's the best line you can buy.

How do you die your bait’s tails?
Zoom makes a marker. I just color in the tail section.
Birds singing again
Maybe they like me?
Don’t get much better
I agree.
