I've fished lanier many years. Born and raised in dawsonville. This has been my best year of fishin so far. There really hasn't been a time when the bite has been real slow this year"yet"
@@benpeterson6067 it's not a scary lake by no means. It's just like any other lakes. If you have a lake with a population as high as laniers of course your gonna hear about things happening. It's no different than any other body of water
Awesome video, REALLY appreciate you sharing your lures & techniques. So many folks try to hide that info. Y'all wore 'em out - so much fun to get into a school of them like that and catch a ton!
I saw you out there Sunday. It was insane! We caught over 18 pounds and countless numbers on Topwater with barely any under 2.5lbs. Had 21+lbs hooked and come undone. Never seen them as aggressive as they were that day
Epic day for the epic boyz! that is a staple 1, 2 punch between the walking bait and the fluke. I actually tried a white Senko at one point last year, and it works well too. Just gave them something different to look at if they stop schooling for a second.
I just went camping at lanier last week and did a little fishing. It was my first time fishing lanier didn't really know what to expect. But i had luck on a 1/16 and 1/8 oz rooster tail. caught a couples 3's and 4,s on my ultra light 5,0 combo it was a blast. Im glad your doing lake lanier content its great. keep safe on the waters.
Hello Guy's awesome video and a great day fishing, I fish spotted bass down in Middle Ga, near Macon and Jackson , that's about as far south as they can be found, But we don't get them that big, good job boy's , Hey I called Hammonds about that Fluke color and was told they don't carry it anymore, Do you guy's know any place else that offer's that color Fluke ? anyway love your vid's keep posting, can't wait to come north this spring and try my hand on Lanier with the tip's I got from you guy's !!!!
Thank you very much! Hammond’s gets that fluke in “ghost herring” periodically throughout the year. Such a cool and unique color. But, pearl white works just as well. 👊
Dang, I was out there yesterday from 6:00 am til noon throwing top water and only caught one striper. I was fishing points and blow throughs north of 53. Great day for you!
@@epikboyzfishing thanks buddy but I’ve had my brain stuck on killing turkeys. Watching this video has me so fired up to get out and chase some bass 🔥🔥👍🏼 awesome content
We throw the double rig sometimes, not always. I think the single fluke gets bit more often as the fish can zero in on a single bait. However the double can get you 2 fish at one time.
@@epikboyzfishing appreciate all the info you do give out!! love the videos! suprised youre on the south side, gives me hope that i might catch my first fish on lanier this year hahah
@@samwashere1392 now is the time to get on them. The water keeps warming up and the fish are super shallow. Yes, I normally fish mid-lake to North end but i do venture on the Southside to change things up. I’m trying to learn the entire 38,000 acres of the lake. Haha
Just a beautiful day of spotted bass and awesome day. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you! I hope these tricks help me! 2 fish at once is CRAZY
Lanier being Lanier love it man nothing beats the day you two had! Topwater > everything else
Agreed... favorite way to catch em. So exciting to see the topwater strikes!

I hope to buy a boat late summer/early Fall to start fishing Lanier. The water looks great and I can't wait!
Awesome! You will love it. The water on the Southside is super clear and blue like the Gulf of Mexico.
Can’t wait for the Top Water Bite to start in the Spring!

Great video content. What is the color of the Zoom Fluke and where can I purchase them????.......🤔🤔🤔🤔
The color is Ghost Herring and it is a custom color at Hammonds Bait and Tackle.
That’s awesome.. just sub!
What time of year
Killed them!
Thanks Jimmy. Hope you enjoyed the video.
What size on the pencil top water

I’m surprised I ain’t see you guys throwing the Zulu rig

@@epikboyzfishing Yeah man any tips for a first timer on Lanier thinking about coming down next weekend
what time of the year was this? We are thinking about going to Lanier.
Last April 2021.
Duck said, “I’ve gotta see if this guy keeps catching the same fish over and over again.”
LOL... if you watch the end of the video, you will see the big ones we kept in the live well.
Does anyone knows where the island with a beach that you can pull your boat up and picnic?
hey there, there are a bunch of islands that have sandy areas to pull your boat up on. What part of the lake?
South near flowery branch Or oakwood
Man! you are on FIRE!!!!!!!! where was the spot on lanier??
We provide a lot of info in our videos but u know I can’t give you the exact location. It was on the Southside near the damn in the creek.

what ramp is this at?
Hey Harrison, it’s in Shoal Creek on the Southside. Don’t know the name as it is gated.
just curious
Would you share this spot
Southside end of the lake near the damn. We caught fish in several spots.
Is this on the South end or North end?
South near the damn.
@@epikboyzfishing thanks man, me and my buddy got our last high school tournament this weekend. Any tips, we are going to be by Laurel Park
How do you find good spots? I spend countless hours and days. And got like 1 ☝️.
Depends on time of year and depth I’m targeting. Good technology and graphs are a must have
@@epikboyzfishing What equipment would you recommend. I’m also a Lake Lanier guy, I live in Flowery Branch and boat out of Burtan Mill.
Would be better with out the music
