This was Harris County, Houston. That's all I needed to see. I had a run in with the law about 8 years ago in Harris County. Hung out with the wrong people and caught a theft charge. I'm a white male, in college at the time. Show up to court in a suit with my lawyer. The two people that went in front of me were aggrevated asslut with a deadly weapon and drug parafenalia 4th and 5th time. The judge KNEW THEM BY FIRST NAME. The prosecutor said they were misguided and ask for probation and community service. I get up and the prosecutor asked for maximum fine and jail time. $5,000 and 180 days in jail. My first offense btw. Harris County Justice system is a racists pit of corruption.

Companies are only responsible for an employees actions while performing their duties. Pulling a gun is not within the scope of their duties and therefore the company is not liable. However, they will likely try and settle out of court for the potential cost of a going to trial over it. It's amazing to me how many people are so clueless about a companies liabilities for what their employees do. No company has full 100% control of anyone. People are still free to make their own decisions to defy company policies and companies are protected from these violations.

That is INSANE! I looked it up online, and this is what I found: A defendant enters a guilty or no contest plea to the charges in a deferred adjudication, but the court does not issue a conviction. Instead, the criminal is on probation for a specific time. They must comply with certain court-imposed restrictions, such as doing community service, paying fines, or seeking treatment. If the offender successfully completes the conditions of their probation, the accusations against them will be dropped, and they will have no criminal record. WTF!!?

I could be wrong but I believe they circumvented the law under the deferred adjudication application. In order to qualify for the plea in the first place it can't be considered a violent crime against citizens. So the prosecutor has broken the law by allowing and circumventing the qualifications of the "plea agreement process". The prosecutor and the judge should be immediately removed for derelict of duty and miss representation of the public, putting the law abiding civilians in direct undo harm.

During covid lockdown times, I was a cashier at a small trashy retail store (you could probably guess), I had a black coworker he had just hired as a manager of all things, even though she had no idea what she was doing. She constantly thought she saw racism everywhere, at one point an older white lady whispered into my ear, modestly, that she needed to use the restroom. That girl nearly screamed at her and tried to start a fight, telling me that she knew the woman was whispering racist things about her into my ear. Complete insanity. I doubt that guy did anything in front of his 6 year old daughter like you're saying, I bet he said they were missing...she told him to deal with it...and the rest happened.
I worked at a McDonalds in a city and I can absolutely relate. Some black women are out of control.
