The Trip/T'Pol relationship had such great build up, it really is a crime that they killed it, not to mention Trip, in the finale
That "last" episode didn't kill anyone. It was based on another malfunctioning holodeck on the Enterprise D and was another poor storyline from a long delayed TNG episode. You are allowed to ignore it since it was another Riker fever dream.

@@samuellawrencesbookclub8250 The Enterprise novels fix it. Trips death was staged so he could work for section 31 to infiltrate Romulus during the build up to the war. Originally, Archer, T'pol and Phlox are the only crew aware that Trip is not dead, but eventually, Mayweather and Reed find out too. In the long run, Trip and T-pol get married, have several children and Trip dies an old man.

TPol was so stiffed and unyielding in the first season. the final season she really grew on me. i wished we had more of her and Trip

I bet Trip planned for her to invite him to Vulcan. Because why would he suddenly come into T’pol’s room and randomly go on about how he has no where to go, and that he wanted to stay aboard but the Captain wouldn’t let him? As if a Vulcan would be interested. Fascinating lol.
T'Pol was not just any Vulcan, but Trip's girlfriend. She would be kind of interested in a Vulcan way.

ENT is such a comfortable show, and it's by far my favourite of the "original" Trek. I paid $24 for all four seasons, by far the best purchase I've made when it comes to home media.

I thought Enterprise was the best spin-off. It should have lasted longer.
I thoroughly enjoyed it as well, and don't see why it doesn't get more credit.

I love how T'Pol gets awkward when Trip asks her how she'd introduce him to her mother (It would've been fun to see T'Les's reaction if T'Pol had introduced him to her as T'Pol's boyfriend😉😁😆). Also it would've been nice if their trip to Vulcan ended with T'Pol and Trip getting married.

Since these clips started watching re-watching "Enterprise" on Hulu for the Holidays, "Home" was fine but lots of talking and fixing appliances. If this was done in 2022, would be 2 Episodes with Trip and T'Pol "enjoying" the Caves and the hot springs near her house. Trip making dinner for T'Pol and introducing her to Slow Dancing.

Polly's loosening up a bit more than she has a right to. "You told the captain that you don't get to see as many alien cultures as you'd like to...never been to Vulcan." Normally she uses complete sentences. This is the first time I'd noticed that. Trip was definitely good for her

All her uniforms were better than that drab charcoal gray uniform she wore while with the Vulcan High Command.
Side note.....Trip also had at least one brother, an older brother if i remember him saying as well as a nephew (He had received drawings from him in the first season) and i believe his folks are still alive and well.
Yeah, I did wonder why he didn't want to go and visit them.
Definitely angling for an invitation from her.
Those two live in an alternate universe inside my mind, where they have many beautiful babies and Tucker lives to the age of 150 years, and finally dies after making love to his wife T'pol one last time. I dare you to convince me this is not canon.
The novels after the series brought back Tucker. Section 31 had him fake his death to go on a mission for them.
Her jump suits are just awesome.

I usually hate how a lot of sci fi shows try to portray romances and they feel so forced or unnecessary but they really did Tripp and T'Pol so well. One of the few I was really wanting to see how things turn out and looked forward to.
Until the writers destroyed it. I wanted them to end up together. And killing Trip off was idiocy.

@carolynm8421 I'm not sure, honestly. I read a summary someone posted a while back. Tripp is working with the top secret research section of starfleet in the story so had to fake his death for his cover to keep working there secretly.

@@chrisloesch1870 I do. No woman operates on logic. They are all operating with female ego. They all complain “you do not pay attention” rather than “I need to make you more aware of my preferences”.
@@catothecensor God (singular) does not work like that. He makes you at least work towards it ALOT because often time you do not see the down-side yet. You need to learn for yourself often to notice the down-side. Praying is often met with “no, you can not have it” just as a parent often tells their child “no, you can not have it.”.

I haven't watched this series yet, but she's certainly easy on the eyes. I would imagine there would be some sex-related issues as I can't see Vulcan women wanting sex on a consistent basis (I know male Vulcans go into heat, but I know nothing about Vulcan females).
