2:32 The First Reptile in Zootopia 2 (as of currently) I hope there are gonna be more reptiles coming to Zootopia 2 Like Turtles, Lizards, and Crocodiles
Would like to see these reptiles in Zootopia 2: Turtles (would like to see red-eared sliders, snapping turtles, pond turtles, softshell turtles, and sea turtles) Tortoises (my guess: Galapagos, Aldabra, sulcata, red-footed, and Greek) Lizards (my guess: Komodo dragons, chameleons, geckos, frilled lizards, bearded dragons, Gila monsters, water dragons, skinks, and thorny devils) Snakes (other than Gary the viper, would also like to see pythons, anacondas, boas, corn snakes, kingsnakes, coral snakes, garter snakes, cobras, kraits, and rattlesnakes) Crocodiles (bonus points if there will be a crocodile character voiced by an Egyptian or Aussie actor. Moment I found out that a sequel of my favorite Disney movie was coming out, I ran to watch the first again! And I’m not joking when I say I’ve watched it over 50 times already! Soo excited!!
My guess: Turns out, the shady past is actually a conspiracy theory, and reptiles are a victim of racial profiling in Zootopia thanks to it. My guess is that this will be a potshot towards the infamous "reptilians" comspiracy theory IRL, and the main villain will be revealed to be a conspiracy theorist spreading hoaxes and fake news. Bonus points if said villain will be a monotreme/egg-laying mammal like a platypus or an echidna (symbolizing hypocrisy, the villain hates "egg-layers", yet said villain is a mammal that lays eggs like a reptile).
I think it's interesting that they're adding reptiles. A big problem I had with the first one was that every animal was a mammal, which is funny considering the movie's about inclusivity
Fingers crossed they don't ruin this world. Sure reptiles being sentient does make it sad, no Snake pet for judy. But glad Fish are now confirmed to be food. I do hope that they will confirm Wildehopps. Also with them saying Semi Aquatic... Makes me think the true villain will be a Platypus voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, aka Perry the Platypus.

I enjoyed this a lot! I can't wait for Zootopia 2. Quite possibly one of the movies that can bring back Disney. For the past eight years we've been wanting to see more of Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps. But now, it's finally confirmed! I'm Wild for Nick Wilde.
For story I made short synopsis: At the food marketplace, the case of the foods out of living fishes. The others, eating green stuff of seaweed to feed a sea lions, but at least both fishes and seaweeds gone rotten. Collecting a lot of living fishes as seafood to sell at the market, evil planned by villainous Gary the snake, Judy and Nick cracked the case, I guess, but I hope so.
Ok yeah sure, very excited for the movie and I hate to sound like that kind of person but it was established that only mammals are sentient in this world so the snake guy makes me kind of worried for which other worldbuilding elements will be discarded
See, my headcanon for the longest time about what the carivores eat, seeing as there werent any reptiles or fish people in the first one was that those are probably not evolved and are still just animal animals, and as such theres gotta be a meat industry based around those. I guess I was 𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘧 right.
What have we all learned from this series? We learned that the animals of Zveropolis do not eat meat substitutes or insects, but ordinary fish. One of the biggest mysteries of the first part has already been solved. Very impressive. Let's pray that the sequel lives up to our expectations. :_
I'm excited for this film but I hope Gideon Grey returns because I'd like to see how would he react to the new reptiles and sea mammals as customers in his pie shop.
I forgot that judy was played by the same person as snow white from OUAT, it completly caught me off guard also this expo was such a great way to advertise a movie
Honestly, snake characters are used so much to represent evil. Yes it’s supposed to be a representation of Adam and Eve, but it ruins the plot because it’s so easy to guess the story from then on. The snake (gary) would put probably want to eat the bunny (Judy) because he’s never tried a police bunny before and would just imagine her in a pot of soup. Or Gary and the fox (nick) are long time childhood friends, but nick betrayed him when Gary was being bullied because of being a snake, one of the only creatures without legs so he can’t catch up with the other kids with sport like football. Nick didn’t stand up for him and now he’s on a plot to kill him. There is definitely going to be a ‘sidekick’ who is very nervous and jumpy and ruins numerous of gary’s plots, but then the sidekick realises this isn’t right, and joins together with Judy and nick to arrest the snake and they live happily ever after. Along this journey the connection between nick and Judy deepens, as they realise even in deaths and dangerous situations, they know they can rely on and trust each other fully. However, it might be another police chase case, but what I liked about zootopia 1 is that the ram ended up being the villain but you don’t expect that right? I wish this was the same. Honestly instead of creating this snake character they shoud’ve focused more on the relationship between nick and judy. Maybe let a few years pass with the ram in jail, and the next villain would be the ram’s kid or relative. Maybe unknown nicks family? the fact that a fox is a cop could make them feel disgusted, so they could be introduced as a gangster family to try kill judy in order to change him back into a sly and cold hearted person. Then the family apologises pays for their crime and everyone lives happily even after. It would also be cute to see nick interact with a ‘little brother’ who maybe can not uphold the gangster family’ expectations to kill others, maybe Judy could interact with them and it could give family vibes. That would be a nice story. At this point just give me the script.
Tbh I really hope that doesn’t happen. Snakes need more representation than ‘evil and scary and venomous!!’, but then again that’s how most reptiles are shown to be in media. Maybe they’ll do the opposite, but that’s likely just wishful thinking. By opposite, I mean the snake will be known as a criminal and of course wanted, but turns out he’s not bad, perhaps he IS doing something bad but not out of malice, like an anti-hero. That very much would make Gary and the ram opposites, plus, I’d say he looks goofy ahh in the photo, like, come on, that’s either a mildly insane character or an unsettling but not even a little malicious one 😭
I'd go see this, but doing so might mean I signed some contract without even knowing it, allowing Disney hitmen to legally kill me, so I'll just pirate it instead.
So the natural progression of this story would be that Nick and Judy struggle with becoming a couple due to social norms, I suppose? That the B-story conflict of this movie is the still-remaining stigma of cross-species partnership. The writers could REALLY lean into it, and I honestly hope they do - it makes perfect sense for the story. Like, imagine if there were legal issues with the whole thing vs them being cops, or the parents disapproving, or being harassed by the more prejudiced animals - you can get real deep into dark, real-life-paralleling storylines here.
