The only feedback I can give is you may want to tone down the rear light. It's as powerful as the front lights which is unrealistic. The strong red is also your area of highest contrast which draws attention away from the person and their action which undermines the scene a little. Otherwise it's a great scene! I love your sense of humour and can't wait to see what you put out next.
Very nice render! I love the breakdown. Very enjoyable style! I appreciate your humor and honesty about your workflow and thoughts! The advice you give is very valuable, especially for beginners or people starting with environment renders. Keep it up!
omg bro first time finding your channel love the content, your a real lazy blender creator, i go all out and make the project perfect from every angle in case i need different shoots
To alleviate some of the frustration with placing, rotating or adjusting objects in your scene, try splitting your workspace into at least one top and one front view in addition to your camera view. It makes it so much easier.
I've tried that but my laptop display is so small that it sometimes becomes an issue than a help. But you're right, i could improve this single screen workflow for issues like this.
I just started learning blender (I have some years of experience in photoshop) and you’re already my favorite artist because you struggle as well and I’m in way over my head 🫡
Hey welcome to the blender world. Glad you're enjoying my videos. I do struggle a lot and make sure i make it a part of the video, otherwise it just seems I'm too perfect of an artist, which I'm clearly not
Idk if anyones said this but dont be too hard on yourself about how certain things dont look right from other perspectives! The main one that matters is the camera view at the end of the day, i think back to one of the people who worked on Encanto and posted how awkward they had to make a characters arms in order for the composition of the shot to work and look good. Anyways thanks for this awesome tutorial!
Hey Stache, just want to say I love your content man, I have been learning Blender for a couple of years now and your videos are a perfect balance of technical, funny AF and honesty. Keep doing it brother, you're awesome 💪🏻
I love your videos. it seriously takes forever for me to finish a scene and it's nice to see that being mentioned, the grind in this can seriously be felt. But it looks awesome! You did really great!
So I subscribed because it was a great video, please can you make more of these style? Loved it! I honestly thought this video had 100k views, more people should find this.
I think it's so cool how you've drawn inspiration from things in your life, like a book you've read and an image that captivated you. Thank you for giving us a great tutorial and for adding humor to its narration. I enjoyed the video. You've got a new sub from me :-)
Absolutely loved your narrating and dark sense of humour! It turned out very nice and seems like you learned a lot in the process 😉 I subscribed instantly and am hoping to see more great content in this style!
The thing with the epic games bridge is that u can modify them in any other program, but!!, they must be render(I mean the final result ) in unreal engine
this is sick, since you asked for feedback, my eye is drawn to the bridge support with the light on it. maybe if you moved the support out of the light or just put your character next to it (or close to there) and the truck in the middle since its the other focus point. I believe this is cause of the rule of thirds it's hard to focus on the character more than the truck and bridge support besides that this is an epic tutorial and I'm glad I stumbled across your channel!!!!!
tbh if you wanted the cables to make sense then they should be dangling support cables from the bridge itself instead of random wires, it'd be kinda like the bridge was ruined and not seeing much traffic anymore making it the perfect spot to burry a body
First time I come across your channel, this was such an intertaining video, I appreciate your humour and the way you go through the steps in your process. Nice render, keep the good work!
amazing work! learnt a lot and found out about sooo many things i didnt even knew existed in blender. My feedback is that the headlight beam with the fog isn't realistic at all. usually car headlights have a hard cut off line on the top of the headlight so that it doesnt act like a "flood beam pattern" just google image some references of car headlights in fog. the best way i found (so far) to get that realistic look in blender, is to just photoshop the beam by manually drawing it with a brush or use a spot beam with a really small angle. also the stress cables that are holding the bridge seem like they're not going anywhere. at this point im just nit picking an amazing piece of work!
Heyy. Nitpicking is what I need. Appreciate the feedback. This is feedback only an artist can provide. Good tip on the headlight too. Gonna keep that in mind. Thanks for the comment!
I found my new fav Blender youtuber!! 🤣😆🤣😆 Edit: This video made me so comfotable with using Blender, I had the attitude that I have to make it myself or it would be cheating. I always make it more complecated than it needs to be. 3:44 spoke to me!! I can confirm, it is life canging advice.
Got screwed by client work and also my shitty laptop. It couldn't render a single frame without noise. Had to stop working on it. once i have a better computer, I'll continue working on that. Glad you're still here though buddy. Appreciate it.
Oh dude. I had a very similar idea. Like maybe a cop ready to catch him in the act. But i just couldn't execute it properly. But i really get what you mean!
Dude i really thought of putting it in. I'm so bad at it right now that i feel embarrassed to share it 😬. So I'll make sure i put it in the video as soon as I feel like I'm better at it. Thanks for mentioning it though.
Really good video DDD. Thanks for sharing your workflow and I enjoyed your lighthearted commentary. Your final render is lovely and atmospheric, but maybe the left quarter doesn't need to be there.. like its unused space in the render. Subbed
It was because of the fog man. So i had to set the samples to really high otherwise the render came out really really muddy. And i have a shitty laptop. And it was a 4k render. So it all added up
Great video man! The quixel assets are sadly not for use in Blender(For free atleast), You can only use them with UE(Legally) (Got a mail from them saying that you have to buy assets to use them outside unreal)
@@stache_obj I am beginner i just don't want to spent to much money for an rtx card. Which one can be a good option good a gtx 1060 option or 1650 super?
I've never used a 1060. But my 1650 works great for what it's worth. Buy the newer gen. That's it. See the benchmark test on the blendersite for how the two gfx performed too. Just to be sure. I'd go with 1650 personally
Only feedback is that the garbage bag on the right hand side in the truck bed is 9 times the size of a garbage bag, something I wouldnt normally stress about but they likely dont even make garbage bags that size. that garbage bag is big enough to hold my entire VFX tutorial inside of it which isnt saying much since I dont have one but if you killed 4 people the size of Shaq you could fit all 4 of them comfortably within that bag. Just the section of the bag thats showing is larger that the truck wheel and a real bag likely wouldnt even break the lip of the bed but if it did it would do it in the same fashion as the left bag because that right bag is HUGE lol k im done
Bruh absolutely mind blowing output but the tail light of the car seems sus as such bright red light only turns on when you press the brake paddle. So consider deming it or removing it doesn't suit the scene and draws unnecessary attention. Thank you and ignore any grammatical or spelling errors
i think the tail light has a very long wavelength it doesnt seem so logical cause the head light is supposed to be more powerful than tail .they, almost looks even in this render. And the head light has something to show like the main character which is the main focus of the story and the tail light is stealing the show
My laptop screen is too small and the gfx to weak to have a separate window for the camera pov. I've tried it before, but it always got in the way, so i stopped doing it

The thing with the epic games bridge is that u can modify them in any other program, but!!, they must be render(I mean the final result ) in unreal engine
That makes sense. It's a stupid concept but i get it. Thanks for the info tho. Appreciate it.
@@stache_obj if u want more details u can watch grant abbit on the subject

If you increase the render resolution instead of just samples , you will get a better resault in a shorter time

It's just two area lights and nothing else. And the volumetric fog in the scene takes it up a notch too

Nope. Too old. Atleast try and get an RTX card if you can
1650 I can afford. rtx is too expensive

U can't use quixel textures for free in Blender unless u render in Unreal
I think a bunch of PPL have cleared it up now. Time to uninstall bridge I guess.
