"Finish projects and make sure the next one is slightly better than the previous one." Couldn't have said it better! 👏 Something like that become my go-to answer for anyone asking for learning advice. The next project should always be a good mix of known comfortable tasks and new challenges.
That's called the Million dollar tip I was thinking about getting money after getting paid for the first time in my life and I just forgot I still sucks some places in 3D So it will get better if I get back to learning.
I have done art for years now, Only recently 3d sparked my interest. before that was photoshop and making compositions. But the thing is I've never did was sharing any of my artwork even after picking up 3d. I just made them because I enjoyed it so much also i guess I was afraid of judgements. But you are right!. I'm gonna make an account and start sharing my work,. THANKS MAN. you are like a big brother i've never had, always giving me the right advice.
If you are looking for work, you gotta share your work. And I know it's scary to share your work but the blender community is pretty supportive so nothing to worry about at all
I decided to learn Blender just today, and I'm so glad I stumbled across your channel. Between this and the video about mistakes you made when learning, I feel like I'm starting off on a good step. It's nice to have someone give advice in a way that feels very transparent and grounded.
One major tip, not necessarily Directly related to earnings, but an essential... ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS back up your project files... don't learn the hard way😂😂
you are so open and articulate about everything, even very personal things like your income and prior mindset, I absolutely love it. It's super hard to get out of the mindset of chasing the view count, subscribers, followers, money... people love to see the numbers go up because it's an external and easily legible marker of "progress". Maybe not "progress" in terms of their artistic skill or vision, but seeing a number increase, no matter how meaningless, is still a small dopamine boost which we interpret as "progress". But it is super hard to fight the urge to focus on self-improvement when a project you spend hours and hours on gets no attention, while a dumb small throwaway thing gets you millions of views.
As someone who’s been trying over the last few months to make money with blender, this was very helpful (unlike the thousands of others of very UN-GENUINE videos), so thank you! (and it was still very stache :)
This video brought the inspiration I needed to push me to go forward. I couldn't just stop thinking about making money online. I start getting back to making a project in Blender, later search online for posts to find something small that will bring me some income, get overwhelmed because I can't find anything, cut blender off for some time because I would feel worthless and I don't know anything, that cannot make it to building a career with Blender. Thank you for you awesome video, ur the best

When you want something really bad and it’s really close to your heart it’s easy to become confused, so it’s good to make a comparison to some other field to avoid that trap. For example if someone wanted to be paid highly for playing soccer, there is no getting around the fact they need to be excellent at the sport. I doubt anyone would dispute that, and it’s no different if you wanna get paid for being an artist.
