I can almost guarantee 1/2 of those battle packs are unsellable on Amazon as Kohls likely demolished them during shipping.
Only one order of 4 battle packs shipped in a bag, the rest arrived in boxes or I ordered as in store pickup 👍

@@Ozzy63666 I never receive my Kohl's Lego orders in bags and always in boxes and usually good condition. Guess it depends were you live. The one I have trouble with getting damaged Legos is Macy's.
I like to credit the cash to the second set since the receipt will show the discount on that purchase and in the rare case you don't use all your Kohls cash.
Yeah either way works out the same in the end in terms of money spent 👍 it’s also easier to track it your way haha
I did get these deals as have got my best Lego deals from Kohl's for the past couple years getting 50-60 percent off. FYI notices this time that on most of my orders if I selected ship to me then there would be an additional offer at checkout to get an additional $5 in kohl's cash if I shipped to store & picked up instead giving me another 10 percent on everything and ending up with a 70 percent discount

Thanks for the video. I took advantage of the sale with some orders as well, but not as many as you lol. They also had two days where you got $15 in Kohl’s cash per $50 spend if you paid with their credit card.
I think there may be a minor issue with your calculations. I don’t think you get Rakuten rewards for the portion of a purchase made with gift cards. Please correct me if I’m mistaken.
Awesome! Paying with discounted gift cards instead of a Kohl’s card ended up being more savings, but still a great deal!
Rakuten credited me the full amount for all the orders I placed using gift cards and Kohl’s cash 👍
@@BrickDomain Good to know, thanks! Another perk of Kohl’s is that if they cancel your order, they let you keep the Kohl’s cash. I had two of my orders canceled, I assume due to stock issues, so basically got free Kohls cash.
Thanks for the info. I've never used Kohls for Lego purchases. I am a Kohls member but it seemed so convoluted and unsure of how to apply everything so I've never tried it. A break down of how to sign up and how to use it and how long Kohls cash is good for would be awesome
Sure thing! Kohl’s cash will get credited to your account automatically, so when it’s time to spend it, you just check a box at checkout to apply it. If you’re a Kohl’s member already, then you’re good to go! As far as how long Kohl’s cash is good for, it varies, but they will tell you when that kohls cash will be eligible to spend in a few places, in the advertising of the promo, at check out, and in an email.

I mostly ordered Jay’s Mech Battle Pack at first, with a few of Zoey's Dream Jet Packs since I can't find them anywhere else. I later realized I was missing out by not getting at least something from their 20% off selection, and wanted the large unique printed gateways from the Disney sets so I grabbed one of the Elsa's Frozen Princess Castle sets and also 3 of the Disney Aurora’s Castle since there's a lot more pieces that I find interesting in that set. Also made one order of Ahsoka's Clone Troopers and later spent all my Khol's cash I saved up on 7 of the Room of Requirements sets (while spending another $165 or so). Great deals! The circular cost/deals was really damaging to my wallet though. xD
(also I tried to keep each order at $50 and could have probably made it much easier on myself if I just ordered everything I wanted from the get-go)

Did you mention the 22.5% cash back in Kohl's rewards when you used their credit card? 20% off retail + $20 Kohl's Cash and 22.5% back from a $100 total purchase. They will probably do the same thing Black Friday with more 20% sales if not 30%.
I saw that you got $15 Kohl’s cash for every $50 spent instead of the $10 if you used their credit card. A great deal there too, but the discounted gift cards ended up being a little better of a discount stack.
I jumped in with both feet, missed the giftcard deal but did very well, I was also getting $5 Kokls Cash per order for in store pickup on and off throughout!

Hi from Italy! I really like your vids! I have a question: what are your thoughts about 76909 now that has been announced the new F1 speed champions wave that will include Mercedes again? I recently purchased some of them
Thanks! That’s a good question, we’ll have to see what the new set looks like, but I’m not too concerned considering my buy price for this set. The MSRP for the new Mercedes set will also be considerably higher. 76909 has a MSRP of $34.99 in the US and the new single car set will be $26.99. I believe there will still be some good growth for 76909, but it could be somewhat capped with the new set. That’s how I view it in the US at least, every region differs with how well certain sets do depending on their supply and demand.
@@BrickDomain I think in Italy will be a susteined demand, becasue Lewis Hamilton will go to Ferrari and an italian driver will arrive in Mercedes. But I’m still worried… Ah here in Italy is €44,99!! €34,99 is a steal 😂
They are the worse for shipping orders. Could get it poly bagged or could come in a box.

Card depot needs your ID to order? That seems unsafe.
Many gift card websites need to verify your identity because a lot of fraud can happen through gift cards
When I posted the deal it was $15/$50 KC and plus check your mail for a bonus $15KC for the change to Capitol 1
The $15 Kohl’s cash for every $50 spent was if you paid with a Kohl’s credit card. Paying with 11% off discounted gift cards and getting 2% from a cash back credit card works out to be a better % discount.
I would like to point out to your viewers that the sale isn't over until the 6th.

@@BrickDomain Can still cash out though and there's some great value on sets like Jay's Mech battle pack since it's 4 minifigs for only $10. I'll probably spend my leftover Kash on that.
