@@BrickDomain has a set ever unexpectedly retired that wasn't on the retirement list? Stores are discounting this set in mass to get it off shelves. I bought 5 at 45% off. I can't remember a sale like this for a set this popular that isn't retiring for 1+ year out.

Yep, I’m still going to buy the Ghost on May 1st as well, just can’t beat that discount & the risk is worth the potential reward imo. You could add a Tusken Raider BrickHeadz and a Stormtrooper Mech if you’re interested in those sets. That gets you to $165.96, not too far from $160
Yesterday, I picked up four jedi temples for $10 a piece at Walmart. If it wasn't that price I wouldn't buy it. I also left two beind as the boxes were damaged.
Amazon exclusive Vader's Castle absolutely went on sale for $70-something. Guess you were sleeping. It probably went fast at that price. Wish I had bought more.
Not sure I can agree with the older R2D2, mainly for 3 reasons. For one its much larger and detailed, which if youre buying something with that price youd want the detail there. The new one looks good but its obviously dumb down a bit, still good for the price though. Secondly I dont think the new one is going to be around for long, especially with that anniversary minifig in the box that no doubt most people will be selling seperately once its out of production, drastically reducing the new sets value over time. Lastly the older one is a 50th anniversary Star Wars set that will jump its value up over the long run. This may be a set that slowly increases its value over the next couple of years but definitely will jump up within the next 3-4 years

@@TheCoolCucumber395 that’s not the case, there was a lot of misinformation out there around this. While the T&C always say one per household for GWPs, I’ve never had LEGO not send me the GWPs with my orders, no matter how many I place.
