Chugga, based on how you've been playing, here's some ScareScraper tips that may help you.
1. You can cure the curse by shining your dark light device on each other. You actually did this accidentally to Johnny at around 6:00.
2. Capturing ghosts isn't based on who gets the charge at the last second, but on who's closer to the ghost.
I hope this helps!
Also, the goggles weren't cursed. Those were the dark light goggles but your item drops when you're cursed.

Bumping is a term in forums to bring something up to the front page, as most put the most recently replied posts and active threads up front, this is typically to bring said thread to attention and such. Bumping is also used to keep a thread "alive" and make it so it doesn't get locked or achieved as some sites do to old, inactive threads. Doesn't make any sense for a TH-cam comment though.

Gotta love how Chuggaa unknowingly rids Jon of his curse, and then thinks it goes away after a certain amount of time. It may not be known to some people, but the game does say in between loading screens that you need to use the Dark-Light Device to get rid of curses on other partners!

Last night, I went to a Dave and Busters and they had a Luigi's Mansions Dark Moon 2 player booth. I thought I should share that.
Hooray! Chuggaa is blind time!
1. You use the dark-light device to lift the curse.
2. When you get cursed you drop all of your powerups, so that extra goggle was legit.
3. There are no fake power ups in the game.
4. Powerups do not ever run out, it was the curse that made Johner drop it.
Seriously Chuggaa, you need to read ALL OF the tips on the loading schreen.
The information about curses is all wrong, you don't get them from "cursed items", when you check objects there is a rare chance that a sickly yellow mist will come out of it and curse you (like at 5:18 look at the pot), all powerups found in the ScareScraper are rare and free for that floor. And curses AREN'T permanent for that run, you can get rid of curses by having someone shine the Dark-LIght Device at you (look, he even does this at 6:20 and doesn't even realize it).
Now that I've said all this I can stop screaming internally.
I know this comment is like 5 years old, but if I recall correctly there's a fake pair of Dark Light Goggles that can curse you

Actually the Red-collared Polterpup is called ??? in the vault because E. Gadd couldn't think of a name for him yet. If there's a Luigi's Mansion 3 and that Polterpup is in it, I'm sure E. Gadd will have named him Luigi.
Ultimate Shadow we might find out next year, when it comes out.
The "Love Suction" doesn' give you a higher chance for hearts, it gives you a set amount of hearts for capturing ghosts, like 2 or 3
Also, when you're closer to the Pup, you get the capture, so get close to capture it, not get the last damage on it.
Lastly, the person in the rug (Mainly when Chugga was trapped and did nothing) can suck up ghosts and spin in circles (SPINNING IN CIRCLES!).
Just a tip for anyone who might not have known, you can cure curses by using the dark light device on a player who is cursed. (I haven't watched the full video yet, so I don't know if this has already been explained or not)
Use the control pad in single player and you can say "Mario!" Also, use the Dark Light device on each other to remove curses. Me and my friend found out the hard way

Some people have probably already mentioned it but if you find yourself cursed in ScareScraper, just have one of the other players shine their Dark-Light Device on you for a couple seconds and it cures you. Also, you should really call the dressers WARPdrobes. The pun is to obvious to be ignored!

Chugga! You can use the Dark Light Device to cure a curse, and yes you accidentally did it in the video + you can catch ghosts while you are stuck in the carpet! It is really helpful to know these things and I hope this was helpful to you.
Chugga, you mentioned that you missed Luigi shouting 'Mario' like in the original; but you can actually still do that in Dark Moon! Just use the D-Pad in singleplayer the same way you do in multiplayer. Luigi's call outs are different if you're in the final mansion.

So long as you are in the room with the last red coin in it when you have 0 seconds, you can still get the bonus. The timer actually only affects traveling from room to room.

Chugga the ghost will always go to the player that is closest to the ghost that is being sucked up this is only rarely over-ruled by the charged vacuum suction.

I remember getting the last red coin so late that every player was in there losing animation as we got warped to the result screen x) Or something like that. It's been a while!
you should breing a full crew for the next scarescraper cause it would be so fun to see the panic in a mode on expert (not saying it has to be on expert but maybe it could be like markipliers 4/20 mode just less on the impossible side)
Who ever is closer to the ghost while capturing it is who gets it, not who does final damage
I'd like to note that in single player if you hit the plus control pad Luigi will say Hello in most missions in different ways. try pressing it at some point in the last mansion and see what happens. your welcome chuggaaconroy if you see this.
It was pain watching them not know how to lift the curse.
hope you can get many guys in one scare scraper, and/or try to get all uniques ghosts from it
I saw a message on scarescraper today actually. You can get rid of curse by shining dark-light on the person who's cursed. I haven't tried this yet, but like I said, I saw a message on scarescraper.
something that some of you may not know, is that if you get cursed in scarescraper, you can get a friend to use the dark light to remove it

Chugga, you can get rid of the curse on a teammate if you use the Dark-Light Device on them. But it's fine, you two did really well!
chuggaa a few things 1 if you use the dark light device on a cursed player you cure them and 2 in single player the Dpad makes Luigi say things and after a sertent point the Dpad makes him say Mario if you did not know
