I’m going to show you what type of connector works best for wiring MC (BX) cable. Using the proper connector can ensure a more secure wiring for your project. I will also show how to attach the connector to a junction box.

There is also a combination connector (Halex 20570, Sigma 42002) which looks like an NM connector but has a ring with a hole in it to prevent the bushing from going through and possibly falling out while allowing the wires to pass through like they would on a regular BX/AC connector. They clamp the end of the cable rather than use a set screw so they work on either type of cable as long as you don't overtighten the clamp screws.

I think the connectors sold as AC/MC connectors UPC 031857655013 are mislabeled. They are only for AC Cable. A single screw MC Connector in your video is the best way to go. There is also a two-screw MC connector that looks like an NM connector yet has the additional metal tabs on the inside to keep the conductors safe. (see 1575murray's comment) I do not think MC Cable needs the red bushings if it is installed properly with the proper connectors. Thank you for posting the video.
