I can relate to this one extremely well.
Back in 2009, my dad always found my secret stash of notebooks or drawings I collected and ripped them in front of me saying I was wasting my time. My mom sometimes tends to discourage it since she was on the "anime looks demonic" type of vibe she always had. Oddly enough, she changed over time and saw how passionate I was about art. She even bought me a Wacom Bamboo Tablet for Christmas in 2012.
Fast forward to 2023, last spring I just got my Masters of Fine Arts in 2D animation from SCAD. I still draw to this day.
Please for the love of God, if your teen/kid is drawing, don't rip their drawings up. Especially if they have a passion for art. It will damage their self-esteem and they will wind up being a perfectionist like myself. Trust me when I say that being a perfectionist has been a struggle for me these past 13 years. If they have the ability to draw, encourage them to push further.
the "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch" word is the name of a town in Wales, actually. I went there for a day as a tourist, and let me tell you that it does not matter how many times you hear it out loud, non-native Welsh speakers will NOT be able to pronounce it.
Also fun fact, in welsh when you have two L's put together in a word (like the beginning of the word), you pronounce it with phlegm. It's more like a phlegmy "Hhh" sound. So to begin pronouncing it, you would start it like "Hhhanfair..."

I have also been finding myself attracted to someone, only to find out that they're gay. I suppose that is something that I inherited from my mom. She had a crush on George Michael and Freddy Mercury (who might have been bi, but I don't know for sure). The colors don't exist thing is an opinion, it is a fact. We have receptors at the back of our eyes that interpret red, green, and blue light. They're activated and deactivated by certain colors, which is how other colors exist. The receptors simply are on and off in certain amounts to make an illusion of color. I am a ninth grader and even I can give you a (very brief and oversimplified) overview on how it works.

You can see them as straight all you want (I'm saying "seeing them as straight" because I don't think many have been confirmed, though it's very likely that most of them are) most people with queer headcanons won't care what you personally take from that show. My issue is, that people who usually comment stuff like this seem to think queer people (or people just having fun shipping) want everyone to ship it. Most don't. And yes, there are bad apples in every fandom and for anything but this comment is clearly not targeting the few bad ones but anyone who sees the characters as queer.
I just think it's a bit weird to outright say this and it makes you seem like an asshole. At the end of the day it should not matter to you whether someone sees a character as straight or queer.
Though in cases where the person in question sees a confirmed queer character as CisHet because they want them to be CisHet then that's very clearly based in queerphobia. And no, the reverse doesn't count and isn't "heterophobia" or "cisphobia." One is born out of hate the other is born out of wanting to be represented, cis straight people have plenty of representation.

As a person with one blind eye, yeah, we don't see black, we don't see the void just think of it like Minecraft and boom that's how it looks.
I've always thought it looks like the odd greyish color you see when your eyes don't get enough oxygen (like when something is putting pressure on important arteries). By your description it seems i was quite accurate.

@@Colinisntstrange That's sad. As for the differences, a wider field of view than seeing with one eye and depth perception. Depth perception makes it easier to see how far away things are and their three-dimensionality, because the brain combines the images from both eyes to a single more three-dimensional image. Beyond this i don't think there's that many differences, but i personally don't have much experience with having less than 2 eyes so i can't tell for sure.
One question though, since you said your blind eye makes stuff look like minecraft, does that mean you still have a bit of vision but it's really low quality (therefore being "legally blind") or how should i interpret this? When i re-read your comment i realised i may have misunderstood you.
