The dog trying his best and still colliding with a tree is me whenever I attempt anything.
The snake in the one with the cat is a garter snake, which is pretty harmless! Just for anyone wondering
I was just scrolling down to say that, judging by the stripes and scale pattern it's a garter, probably didn't even bite, just postured and musked
8:49
And cats are faster than snakes. That snake is going to get a strong bap to the head if it tries anything
I was just about to say that as well. Garter snakes are bros
This subreddit should be renamed to r/birdbombing!

Okay, now jump!
1:04 Imagine you’re swimming about, minding your own business when an Ospreys talon pokes you in the eye.
7:26
Oh I get it.
He was trying to dribble the ball inbetween his legs but there wasn't enough space between the legs to allow the ball to go through. I think it would've made him trip and fall depending on how he was moving? idk.
Wildlife phototography is always a combination of patience, being prepared and a bit of luck.
Most of the time you spend hours or days to learn the behavior of certain animals, after that you scout for spots were it’s most likely to catch the animal and then you still need luck that the animal does what you hope it to do.
Of these three aspects I would say knowing your animals is the most important, that’s why many wildlife photographers have a background in biology or similar
2:03 "Have you ever been so angry you hit a mo'fo, with another mo'fo?"
2:15 I guess you can say the odds are...astronomical.
I'll see myself out
the wedge tailed eagle at 11:03 is a falconry bird. (wearing anklets) gotta know the backstory on that one, because birds of prey suck at letting go. ouch ouch lawsuit ouch. also love the two red-tailed hawks in this video. at 3:21 and 5:01. first one being a lighter eastern US looking red tail, and the second one being a lot darker, probably a picture taken in the western US.
One thing I'd be interested about with that tree photo is what happened _beneath the ground._ When lightning strikes the ground, I believe it petrifies (if I'm using the wrong word here please correct me) the soil that the current passes through. It can create an amazing pattern, and combining that with the energy distribution by traveling through roots? That could be so cool..
On a side note, happy to see a fun subreddit for Robin :3
I learned years ago that lightning usually comes from the ground up-- or the part that is perceived with the naked eye. I know there's intra-cloud lightning. Not sure about the petrification part. I'm not looking to correct you, just adding to the conversation. ❤
@@morbidbeauty_Any additions are welcome c: I actually went and looked up the phenomenon I was referring to - when lightning strikes the ground, it can create what's referred to as *"fulgurite"* or "fossilized lightning".
It''s particularly cool when it happens with sand because of how it branches into smaller segments. Dang, nature is _awesome._
@@Just_a_commenterwow, it really is. Much love and light.
@@Just_a_commenter I think what happens at the root level is that the water in the roots’ cells would get turned to steam. This would cause the water to push out fron the roots in all directions.
You are everywhere.
its so nice to finally see robin laughing and NOT get one of the bad subreddits for once
Robin's terror when he saw how close that pilot cut it before ejecting is so genuine you'd think he just saw a dead body
First time i’ve been this early to an Emkay video! I love all the narrators, but Robin is definitely my favorite! Thank you for making these amazing videos so often for us man, please remember to take a break and not burn yourself out! ❤️ i love you guys!
7:49 seems about right for PDX (Portland)
8:42
Don't worry, it's just a Gardner snake. They bite, but have no venom.
8:44
Robin, I think you'll be delighted and relieved to know that no, That snake is Not Venomous and is actually a common garder snake (harmless but hissy) so that cat is absolutely fine! Maybe a little shook up and probably won't trust a hose or string ever again, But that cat is juuuust fine
Knowing cats though. . . The snake? Not so much 😹
@@EveryChaoticSoul YUUUUUUUP
3:36 I was super confused for a moment. OP means “heron.”
1:10 most modern cameras have burst mode, and some of them can even shoot up to 30 or even 60 pictures per second until buffer fills up
3:31 really confused me until I realized they meant "heron" -- though I am now disappointed there wasn't a fish flying overhead.
At 10:35 the lightning was most likely why you couldn't see the dog well. It's really cool how the change in ambient light can make sudden shadows or temporarily remove shadows.
I love how they release a video once every like 12 hours, but they're all well made.

8:45 Just a harmless little garter snake. The cat’s a much bigger threat to him than he is to the cat. That snake’s bout to get murked.
A resort here in rual Wisconsin has a bunch of peafowl. The peacocks are so loud, like a rooster trying to sound like a cat. They fly pretty good and roost in the trees at night.
They're pretty cool. 🐓🐈
Robins voice just makes me so happy. Like he sounds like he wants to stab several ppl (I know what that’s like) but still
12:24 how does that even happen???
this video being posted 23 minutes ago was perfect timing
For the thing in the medication bottle, it looks like a spark plug.
"Just in time for *OH MY GOD!* " that got me way harder than it should have, the way he said that.
0:30 that’s gonna hurt
1:48 damn that frog is fast, it now looks like the boy is amazed at nothing
4:56 explosive fart
5:09 oof
7:04 she also look disgusted at the bird
12:34 is he looks like a shorter slender man with hair and a lightsaber
The girl at the ‘bounce center’ almost scorpioned and I died laughing
omfg yall HAVE to do this subreddit more
Actually with a good camera you can take these kind of images they just take a lot of pictures in rapid succession and pic out the best ones
7:55 the wave la pushed them
I can tell you how photographers get the perfectly timed shot. You have a camera that takes 30 pics a second when you hold down the button and you hold it down.
8:47 that appears to be a garter snake, perfectly harmless, they do a fake lunge to skare you away or if caught will produce a turd that smells worse than your average chronically online twitter user
Robin is definitely my favourite Emkay narrator, his voice is so oddly calming like he could be reading obituaries and all I’d hear is a wonderful lullaby
As someone who watched this video that came out about a minute ago can confirm this was a good video
1:05
I do.
Rapid mode on the camera.
It takes as many shot as it can as long as you hold the button down.
It still required a bit of luck, but it takes the need for absolutely insane timeing out of the equation.
9:10 and that's how we got the platypus 😂
6:27 That is a spark plug, a thing that makes gasoline-air mixture in engine go boom, Robin.
*The dog & fly one, they meant his dad not his owner, friendly reminder nobody is an object to be own nor meant to be a slave*
00:49 - Nope. Doctors handwriting.
"I feel like nobody perfectly times anything" you have mist judged band kids

Snek: DO NOT BOOP
Dragonfly: BOOP Hihi.
The snake looks legit angry but it's a cute pic none the less.
Answer for the bird pulling a woman's hair: Ask Slazo or Jack. Aussies will tell you about magpies, at length.

"Just in time for *_OH MY GOD1!1!_* "
I have a selfie with a cow licking my face too. It was a trip to Iceland and we went to a farm animal zoo. I was sitting with a cow snapping selfies when it suddenly licked my face just at the same time I snapped a selfie. It was my favorite picture from the trip.
8:43 that is either a ribbon snake or a garter snake, both are harmless if you cannot fit in their mouth.
perfect timing for an Emkay video 🤩🤩🤩
The snake looks ticked that the dragonfly is using them as a perch. lol
Perfect timing, I just finished my homework and now I can watch this video. :D
I love robin’s happy subreddit moments fr
To sooth robin, no that snake was NOT venomous. It’s just an eastern garder snake. They are usually not aggressive but when they strike, don’t be alarmed, it will just hurt for a second then everything will be ok :)
The snake “attacking” the cat is just a garter snake. Totally harmless. Some cats live to hunt them in particular.
3:35 Ah yes, my favourite bird. The herring.
8:40 I'm pretty sure that's a garter, which are non venous, and it looks like it's in the warning strick pose. So the cat should be fine, at worst the snake broke the skin before letting go.
There’s lions vs warthogs vids on here, including from Latest Sightings which are from Kruger park
1:56 Is that.... the discount version of the bum named prince harry?
9:20 I have a picture of an outline of sand or dust or whatever a bird has on their wings, on a window at our school, you can see details... we even heard the thunk it was sad but hillarious cuz of the print... literally like a cartoon
I wanna say the British Bank Holiday is around Birmingham. Probably more rural though, since nobody looks like they own a knife for everyone in the city.
2:58 Why did I think that the bird and the strands of hair it was pulling on was comically large flower for a sec
6:30.
I never imagined anyone other than doctors using these bottles, but I’m guessing they do this because they need to test the spark plug, and don’t want any sort of contaminant on it beforehand.
09:05
That reminds me of that amazing video, The Battle at Kruger (lion v wildebeest with surprise antagonists)
Crazy how this video showed up on my recommended BEFORE youtube notified me
8:45 that snake is NOT venomous! it’s a garter snake. The worst they can do is make that cat very smelly by discharging scent.
3:39 Me excitedly waiting for the photo to see a flying fish...
I oohed and ahhed at the doofs and oofs.
Eletric tree, what is your wisdom?
Perfect timing. I was just looking for a good video.
1:08 that bird bouta release a diss track to fish.
these high quality photographers just have luck 100
When he said "ARE YOU SURE THATS NOT MOTHRA" my mind went wait he knows about godzilla stuff?
5:32 is when it happened
I missed robin being happy on this channel
That caiman eating a fish that was eating a fish reminds me of a picture of a lizard eating a different lizard that ALSO eating a different lizard!
Damn that little girl went full scorpion. What a perfect picture, i'd frame that.
All your videos should be on r/perfectiming since anytime is the best time for your uploads!
Lion King 4: Simba vs Pumbaa
The snake in the cat photo is a garter snake, they arent venomous, just have slightly toxic saliva that is harmless to bith you and the cat
8:44 it is a garden snake or gardener snake (I'm what one) they have a little bit of venom but only in the way back of there mouth pretty much at the beginning of there neck.
9:49 Lincoln England on the road up to the cathedral
5:23 that's a Space-time Distortion!
5:02 I don't know why but the bird perfectly resembles phineas from phineas and ferb
What is that burning tree? Grind all the people into fertilizer to feed the trees.
The snake looked pissed. 😂

At 8:43 that’s a garter snake. There practically harmless

Nature being first with cursive is quite a coincidence, since my cursive handwriting is shit as well!
1:06 a few possible methods. Make a video and use a single frame as perfect timed photo. Also many professional cameras can shoot video and foto at the same time. Or just use burst mode where a lot of fotos are shot
This subreddit has so many animals it should've been called r/zoobomb
3:32
"herring"
haha
1:16 as an amateur photographer... yes we get lucky and also have to be there at the right time 2:17 extremely small... I have spent hours in the middle of august watching the aurora and only caught 1 shooting star 4:03 I also was playing around with a Polaroid I had just gotten because I saved for it and I plopped a bath bomb in the water and snapped the splash in one shot
12:36 who's gonna tell op that's a damselfly not a dragonfly
You're our guardian, Robin.
Dang this dude should make Videos of Reddit his voice could also fit in a horror Video game
