YES! I AM SO GLAD SOMEONE FINALLY SAID SOMETHING ABOUT NOT RINSING WITH COLD WATER. With my low porous hair, rinsing with cold water makes it feel HARD and like I didn't put any conditioner or anything in it! When I use warm water, my hair is so soft, defined, etc.
I love the fact that you said to rinse with warm water!!!! So many recommend rinsing with cold water but I would always think to myself "why close my cuticles now if I am going to moisturizer next"!!!!! Makes perfect sense to me to leave them open on my low porosity hair and close after moisturizing. I also love your suggestion to close the cuticle with cool air using the tension method GENIUS!!!!!!
Timetrae Honey, the ph of water opens up the cuticles. You have to close them back to keep the moisture in (low porosity hair only takes what it needs & seals up). Products are meant to seal on top of the cuticles, the key is to not use too much product on the hair.
tip: soak a towel in water abd squeeze excess water (so it's not dripping) out. pop it in the microwave. put it on you head and it should provide enough heat :)
I'm glad you said last rinse for Low porosity hair is warm water... I kept wondering why my hair felt like i didn't even do a deep condition.... Thanks for the video
This video its so important for the natural hair community, not knowing the porosity off your hair could make a big difference in how you decide to treat/ style your hair you might think that nothings working for you and be upset like me then opt for other methods that just get you by superficially but don't provide you with the real nutrition and care you need to produce the result you need and want it's such a simple test! I almost gave up but this makes so much sense thank you
tasha the janitor girl, you just read my whole life! I don't know what to do with lay low porous hair & to get by im using Pantene Conditioner. It makes my hair curlier than anything else while its wet & while its wet it just sits on my hair but still makes it look good, but since it never absorbs into my hair shafts (low porous) when it dries up, its horrible! I use oils and everything help me lol! what do you use?
Back in 2010 or 2011, I remember telling my hairdresser that my natural hair was "water resistant" and I asked her why? But she did not know. When I washed or spritz water on my hair, it would not penetrate and would remain on top the strand... I was so frustrated. My hair remained dry and was breaking. No one could tell me why. Then I started to Google and came across a wealth of information on how to care for natural hair and "boom" I came across the whole porosity concept. I was so enlightened. Now I know that the "water resistant" hair was low porosity... And now I am aware of how to care for this low porosity hair of mine. Thanks!
Explains why my hair HATTEESS Cantu products, but love the lighter Shea Moisture creams. Also explains why my poor hair broke off with the Shea Moisture protein moisturizer..
Jalah Young-Thomas Super late but Cantu products have alcohol in it which is very drying for the hair. Also, I think you might have finer hair since Cantu is typically more for people that have thick type 4 hair. And light Shea Moisture products are more for people that have finer hair or people that have type 2 to type 3 hair.
This also explains why my hair became so messed up and tangled after doing a protein treatment. I swear it took so long to make my hair normal again after using it
+Victoria Travier I co-wash with Eden Co-wash, Cantu has an inexpensive Co wash, I also found a cleansing conditioner by Ren pure Solutions at Target I deep condition with any conditioner that adds moisture and heat or steam. I bought a steamer off Amazon.
Every point you made in this video I found myself shouting YES! I could never understand why certain methods/products just didn't work for me. It always seemed like my hair liked exactly the opposite of what most natural girls were doing. Now I know why! lol Thank you for this video. I'm off to watch more of your videos. Just subscribed :)
JourneyTo WaistLength Hi! I have a doubt of this video ...did you said it that we "low porosity girls", can't use all the protein...I ask you ...the EGG help to us ? Or not ? I can use one egg as a protein treatment? PLISS tell me🙏🏽
A neat trick is to heat up the thick conditioners and thin them up a bit to apply to your hair. - stick the conditioner in a bowl of hot water to heat up and loosen the product then apply to hair. Apply your steam cap or plastic cap (steam cap works well) to further open your hair cuticles. Then wash out! Voila use up that product and not waste your money then purchase the right product or continue use depending on your results. Hope this helps some ladies out ..Cheers :)
Been natural since September 2012.....just realized I have low porosity hair, which is why I haven't been retaining length because I didn't know wtf I was doin, thankfully now, I know how to adequately moisturize my hair....thanks darling for your wealth of info, my hair looks exactly like yours!
Wow I've had low porosity hair this entire time (our textures are very similar) and I've been washing with cold water forever like an idiot because I was told hot water on hair causes frizz
I just started watching your videos today and they have really helped me thank you so much. Even though I have been natural all my life I used to straighten my hair and as a result I had to do a big chop. My hair has grown back to be very healthy but at the same time I was struggling with what products to use. (A.K.A every natural girl's struggle!) After watching a few of your videos I quickly realized that I have low porosity hair as well and have a better understanding of how to take care of my hair. I even took notes to make sure that I get. Thanks again.
I have been watching your videos but I just subscribed today! I have 4c type hair and I been natural for 1 year and 3 months and I'm still trying to figure out what's best for my hair. Learning my porosity from this video will be extremely helpful moving forward. Thanks for the tips.
This video is 4 years old but i watched it again recently and it has really helped me with knowing which products will take to my type of hair. Thank you!
First person who explained this low porosity thing where i can understand. Thank you. Now i know i have low porosity hair cause product builds up really quickly on my hair. Great video
I have very low porosity hair, it never dries and product builds up very easy. I had alot of struggles with my hair before I realized this and made adjustments (ex. cowashing absolutely is a bad idea unless I am doing a midweek wash and go between full washes). Everything you said was right on for me except the Aunt Helen's Cholesterol. I mix it with every conditioner that I use, water it down a little and it provides the softness, slip and curl definition to conditioners that only add moisture and strength. For example, I love the banana and bamboo deep conditioner from Dark and Lovely but I need that Aunt Helens for slip.
Thank you so much for this video! I recently learned that my hair is low-porosity, 3b-3c dry curls and its been a struggle trying to figure out what products to use, and now I know why after cold rinses and applying styling products my hair still dries to a frizzy mess like I didn't apply any products even though I learned I've been using thick heavy buttery products instead of lighter ones, I'll be using your advice and I pray they work.😊
My hair drinks everything I put in it. I have bought every product and made people millionaires. Watching your video. I get it now, I needed heat, which open up my pores. So last night I threw my go to product Mane Choice in my hair. But before that sprayed a leave in. Layed in my bed, got under the steamer I bought years ago. You can find it on ebay/Amazon. Got up this Morning, warm my product and put in more into my hair. Now its kicking with Curls. Thank you for this video. Keep up the good work.
Everything you said made sense from hair not taking moisture without heat to heavy products sitting on my strands, Iv'e been noticing what my hair likes and doesn't like this was very helpful to know thanks for this video :)
I have never been so happy; I have always assumed I was using the right products, but just had "bad hair" that was always going to be dry. Thank goodness for this video and for the awesome tips.
Dude,I'm so glad someone finally said it,I rinse with warm water too, cold water makes my hair feel so stiff and unmanageable, but I never thought to dry with cool after applying my sealant so thanks for this 👍
Omg! You just saved me, for years I have trying to find out what type of hair I have, and while watching your (this video) I went to my kitchen and tested my hair porosity test and guess I actually have low porosity hair. I noticed that my hair was little sitting on top of the water and was taking so long to go deep down the glass water. And i i though by using heavy products would help my dry hair but I was wrong I am subscribing to you from now. I really want to use all the products you are currently using on your channel and tested to see if it works with my hair. Thank you for sharing and inspiring me 😊❤️
Super informative and really helpful. I did Mayo treatment this week and it destroyed my curl pattern, took away definition and made my hair straw like. 😥😥Huge setback, but knowledge is power. I'll just keep getting to know my own hair better.
I AM SO GLAD THAT WE HAVE THE SAME TYPE OF PRIOSIOTY HAIR LOW! AND THE SAME GRADE OF HAIR TYPE A,B, AND C!!I WILL START USING ALL THE SAME PRODUCTS YOU USE AND ALSO I HAVE NEVER HAD MY HAIR BLOW DRIED AND I HAVE NEVER PRESSED MY HAIR. IT IS BRA STRAP LENGTH NOW . WHAT EVER I WAS DOING BEFORE MUST HAVE DONE IT. I WOULD RATHER USE PRODUCTS T LIKE YOU HAVE TO HAVE HEALTHIER HAIR TOO!! I CANNOT WAIT TO TRY YOUR PRODUCTS FOR I AM SURE THEY WILL WORK BETTER FOR ME. MY HAIR IS ALSO VERY,VERY THICK. THANK YOU FOR THE DO'S AND DON'TS TIPS.
+Maya & Mona I tried it again. I think it was the fact that I co washed it first then used the repair cream. I use the repair cream by itself. its much better now
it's all finally coming together!! tried out the heated up deep conditioning and warm water last rinse and it worked like magic! kept trying out different products wondering why I wasn't keeping in moisture. can't stop touching my hair😍! Gracias!!!
I have Low Porosity hair and I recently had a protein overload from a Collagen protein. I usually use Hydrolyzed or Wheat protein. Also, I have been using cool water for my final rinse the last year or so. However, for years I final rinsed with warm water. I noticed that I have to moisturize more often with a final cool water rinse. Thanks for the info!
Thank you this video was very helpful for my low porosity hair. Your hair is gorgeous and your manner of speaking and explaining is wonderful. Thank you so much.
Thank you for this very informative video! I'm almost 7 months since my last relaxer. I did the test and I'm low porosity. Your video was a whole aha moment. Removed all my protein products and ordering a non protein leave in condition and a clarifying shampoo...will definitely use warm rinse...I was so confused about my dry hair! This video is such a blessing!
omg! you saved my life with this video. i was sooooo confused and lost. i did not know which product to buy for my hair but now i do i know i have low porosity hair. i know exactly what kind of products im going to look for. Honestly thank you for this video
It took me a while to figure out that my hair is low po. What solidified my assumption was when I finally did a strand test in water. I used to use coconut oil, blow dry with heat, and rinse with cold water. After a few months I noticed how dry and tangled my hair always was. First I replaced the coconut oil with almond and olive oil, then I started blow drying with cool air when I was in a rush but typically I let it air dry, and now I do warm water rinses and my hair is doing so much better. I wish I had of seen your video when I first went natural it woulda saved me from big chopping so many times to get it right lol but i still appreciate you sharing the knowledge sis. It's so important to understand your hair's needs to nurture it properly. I'm definitely going to look for products with those proteins to strengthen my coils even more
5:59 exactly, the point is to balance your hair porosity to have a medium porosity. So if your hair is low porosity warm water, if it’s high porosity cold water
I just found out I have low porosity hair I'm shook. I've been wondering what the hell is going on BC cantu sucks the soul out my hair. is there a low porosity hair line I could use?
It's been 4 months and no more buildup. I'm so happy I found this video! Now I don't have to wash my hair every 3 days. Before watching this video I thought I had dandruff, all along I just needed the right shampoo for my low porosity hair..
OMG! I have to share this video with a friend. I was experiencing a lot of breakage until a friend gave me a homemade product to put in my hair. It worked beautifully. So I asked her what the main ingredients were besides shea butter. The key ingredient that worked for me was grapeseed oil. I have tried every oil but nothing worked as grapeseed oil. I totally agree on the regimen you proposed. Thanks for the info.
Aloe is one of the best things you can use for both your hair and skin. Hawaiians have been using it for decades here in Hawaii. It helps with cell rejuvenation so you can use it on any skin problem imaginable. It's extremely hydrating if incorporated into diet and will help cleanse and repair from the inside out. You can even use the fresh aloe (from the plant) and mix it with honey to make an amazing face mask.
I use Garnier Fructis products on my hair and it works wonderful. Sometimes I use coconut oil or Every Strand Hair Force and Growth Therapy all of these is all I need. In the past my hair was coming out in handfuls due to Lupus, but with prayer and these products its growing better and longer. 😘 Love conquerors all 💖
I am a low porosity hair girl as well and EVERYTHING you said about thick products sitting on your hair is 100% facts. Also Love ❤ your hairstyle and headband btw. Elegant and classy.
YOU ARE SO RIGHT ABOUT THE COLD WATER! I rinse my low porosity hair with cold water and it was a tangled mess, I had to fix it with warm water and it was perfect.
This is such a great video! Very informative and it couldn't have come at a better time! I recently rinsed my hair with cold water (unintentionally) and discovered that was the reason my hair wasn't absorbing ANYTHING. After troubleshooting and researching porosity, I discovered that heat was what I needed to properly moisturize my strands and it worked! Thx my love x
Hey, could you recommend some good moisturizing leave-ins and deep conditioners for low porosity hair? Every time I try to find a new one it has protein in it and I'm trying to avoid using too much. Thank you!
Can I use Apple Cider Vinegar to cleanse my hair? I know it has a tendency to close the cuticle, but if I mix it with warm to hot water, will that counteract the effects of the ACV? Also can I use a sulfate-free shampoo to clean my hair every week? I really like the Shea Moisture moisture retention shampoo.
I can definitely relate to the thick products. I didn't know about porosity type hair until this explanation but I have realized that my hair hates the heavy products. I tried the cholesterol cream too and the jar is still full. Now I know why I stick to light oils and products. Thank You!
I have low porosity and coconut oil is my holy grail! Anything with coconut oil transforms my hair into soft frizz free ringlets! Also olive oil helps too xx
As someone with low porosity hair I have heard that low porosity hair uptakes fine powders well. I agree with the aforementioned points, and would like to add when conditioning with fine powders, I find I do not need heat.
Love your video! I have been natural for over a year now and have been struggling w what is going on w my hair! It's so dry but after watching your video, I realize I have low porosity hair too! Thanks so much!
I use sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, rosehip oil, and castor oil in a spray bottle with water and deep conditioner. I use coconut oil when I do my hair mask with 2 eggs, castor oil, peppermint and lavender oil, then add honey. It has been working for me.
this video literally saved my life! I've been natural for a few years and thought I was taking care of my hair, but I still got build up and matting, and was confused as to why I couldn't ever really moisturize my hair or even get it wet. turns out I have low porosity hair and was using a lot of methods and products that were totally not good for it! it's been a week caring for it with clarifying shampoos and very light oils and moisturizers and it's made a WORLD of difference! thank you!
This is such a great video. I also have low porosity hair and my hair is moisturized for days when I use the LCO method... I always used the LOC but find the LCO much better... And rinsing my hair with cold water makes my hair feel dry so I stop doing that... Thank you for the tips.
I totally agree with everything you said. Just watching this video made me realize that I also have low porosity hair. I'm going to start deep conditioning with a bonnet hair dryer so that my strands can absorb the product better. Also, I love doing my final rinse with warm water. Thanks for the video!
This video is nothing but the truth! I can relate to everything you said in the video. I have been struggling with product build up and moisturizing my hair for the longest time so doing the test and finding out I have low porosity hair has been very helpful. Thank you so much for the great tips! I can't wait to try them out!
My hair agrees with everything you said except the Queen Helene Cholesterol. My low porosity hair looooves this conditioner. I "thin" it out with olive oil before application, apply heat and rinse my hair with warm water and it's like butter!
Yes! An explanation for why I could never really get with the cold water last rinse thing. I felt like my hair would get so dry so soon after wash day, this makes sense.
I'm convinced that my hair is low porosity after viewing this video. My hair reacts the same way to that deep conditioner and I also finds that rinsing my hair with warm water at the end works better for my hair. Thanks for the tips especially the information you gave about the types of protein that low porosity hair likes. Thanks
I never really cared about my porosity cause I thought it didn’t matter, but people this stuff matters! After doing the right things for my low porosity hair my hair has changed so much
I have low porosity hair I use salon biolage shampoo and conditioner what my hair stylists uses . Oh wow learning about the three proteins . I noticed about heavy products hair can’t absorb i use coconut oil extra virgin oil /olive oil extra virgin oil my hair loves the Shea moisture leave in masks also aloe Vera oil .
I just found out that my hair is low porosity and now a lot of things are starting to make sense.Great video!
Girl me too.
Jasmine Pierre I've been natural all my life and I'm still struggling and finding out new information smh
Jasmine Pierre likewise!
SAMEEE omg
Same
I'm glad y'all said something!!
+Luna Blue Who you telling... My hair felt so much drier doing that!
thats what always happened with me. its makes so much sense now👏👏👏!!!!
+Ama O same!
Yesss same here. And I just learned this recently. Made such a difference.
My low porosity hair hates coconut oil. Idk if that’s just me but it makes it so dry. This was so informative.
Yvonne Im with you with the coconut oil. 🤥
Me to my hair love argan oil
Mines does too.
Yvonne they sold the company so they added other stuff it’s not the same. I had to stop using it also
Yvonne my hair hates it too..thinking it must be a low porosity thing🤔
I love the fact that you said to rinse with warm water!!!! So many recommend rinsing with cold water but I would always think to myself "why close my cuticles now if I am going to moisturizer next"!!!!! Makes perfect sense to me to leave them open on my low porosity hair and close after moisturizing. I also love your suggestion to close the cuticle with cool air using the tension method GENIUS!!!!!!

Timetrae OMG SAMEEE😭😭
Timetrae only high porosity rinses with cool water
Don'ts - cool water rinse
Dos - small proteins, DCing with heat, deep conditioners with thin consistency.
what r sum good deep conditioners?
tip: soak a towel in water abd squeeze excess water (so it's not dripping) out. pop it in the microwave. put it on you head and it should provide enough heat :)
Michele Islanangel oh wow thx
Oooooo great idea
Michele Islanangel great idea thanks!
Gonna try that
For how long?
I'm glad you said last rinse for Low porosity hair is warm water... I kept wondering why my hair felt like i didn't even do a deep condition.... Thanks for the video
You nay also be over conditioning. Try just using it for the recommended amt of time as well.
I just found out that I have low porosity hair so im doing as much research as possible. This video was very helpful

@@blessedandbeautiful8365 I use warm water in spray bottles too

for my low po hair:
I like -
jojoba oil to seal hair
Carol's Daughter hair milk line
I like LCO in winter too
May I ask what do you deep condition & conditioner or co-wash with because my hair loves jojoba oil to.
+Victoria Travier
I co-wash with Eden Co-wash, Cantu has an inexpensive Co wash, I also found a cleansing conditioner by Ren pure Solutions at Target
I deep condition with any conditioner that adds moisture and heat or steam. I bought a steamer off Amazon.
Thank you Michelle Upshaw

TGRAM7 glad you figured your porosity out!
JourneyTo WaistLength Hi! I have a doubt of this video ...did you said it that we "low porosity girls", can't use all the protein...I ask you ...the EGG help to us ? Or not ? I can use one egg as a protein treatment? PLISS tell me🙏🏽
+Aimee Luciano you can try using an egg. But your hair may not like it. Eggs are good for protein treatments
Same. Just recently found out about low and high porosity hair. Now I have to re-stack my natural products list. Excited to treat my hair right lol!
Lol I know right I feel the say way lots of thongs other naturals do doesn't work for me

I’ve used conditioner mixed with water to moisturize a bit before products or adding light oil before. Just seems to be what my hair responds to

I'm so EXCITED!! I BLOWED Dry my hair for the fist time in years!! And its almost at my waist!!! 😊

#WORD!
Castor oil make my very thick 4c hair extremely soft!
For me, it's the best oik!!
My hair doesn't like it
Very informative.. I think i have normal to high porosity.. Dnt kno forsure
NaturalNeiicey Thanks! try the water test from my previous video
NaturalNeiicey ohh yeah
You are a very calm teacher. Helps the information flow better 💕
This answers so many problems I had. Products sit on hair, cold water rinse isn't helpful. Now i know why. Thank you!
This was a very helpful video. I am almost 5 years natural, and I am still trying to "figure" out this hair of mine.
Just subbed.
I have been watching your videos but I just subscribed today! I have 4c type hair and I been natural for 1 year and 3 months and I'm still trying to figure out what's best for my hair. Learning my porosity from this video will be extremely helpful moving forward. Thanks for the tips.

I've tried that one also and it was bad. BAD. BAD. My hair was so dry and matted. The ORANGE Cholesterol is the BEST!
Same here queen Helen seems to work for me also it helps bring out my curl pattern my hair is very soft afterwards
So maybe I have high porosity. It dries very easily.
Sharon McCullum girl same

cantu Shea butter sucked the life out of my hair
Same every time I use it it's always drying so I had to stop
I threw it away.
mine too. its terrible!!!
Jessica Andrews same here.but I think
it was the coconut in it that made my hair dry.
+Maya & Mona I tried it again. I think it was the fact that I co washed it first then used the repair cream. I use the repair cream by itself. its much better now
Rinsing with warm water made all the difference for me. Knowing my porosity really did help me.
I like the idea of a warm water rinse then follow with aloe vera juice from the fridge to moisturize then close the cuticle
You know what? You made my day today 👌, those tips, really helped me
it's all finally coming together!! tried out the heated up deep conditioning and warm water last rinse and it worked like magic! kept trying out different products wondering why I wasn't keeping in moisture. can't stop touching my hair😍!
I tried that cholesterol condition because everyone swore by it. now I know why. Thanks
Is your hair texture fine or coarse? I have low porosity hair and it doesn't like any protein at all but it is also coarse as well.
+Iyda Adem coarse
Same here and I don't know why
omg! you saved my life with this video. i was sooooo confused and lost. i did not know which product to buy for my hair but now i do i know i have low porosity hair. i know exactly what kind of products im going to look for. Honestly thank you for this video
Wish I would've known this earlier.
I'm definitely going to look for products with those proteins to strengthen my coils even more
You should never microwave any products. Always sit it in a bowl of warm/hot water.
Before watching this video I thought I had dandruff, all along I just needed the right shampoo for my low porosity hair..
olive oil is veeeery heavy
Thanks for the info.
i just start drinking aloe vera juice and i stop having the moisture issues. i don't have to use so many products anymore.
lisa how much do you drink? How often?
kalena Glory I want to know too. Where do u get it
spring fresh ** you can get it at an asian market
Aloe is one of the best things you can use for both your hair and skin. Hawaiians have been using it for decades here in Hawaii. It helps with cell rejuvenation so you can use it on any skin problem imaginable. It's extremely hydrating if incorporated into diet and will help cleanse and repair from the inside out. You can even use the fresh aloe (from the plant) and mix it with honey to make an amazing face mask.
I liked your tip about not rinsing with cold water! Great video thanks!
Elegant and classy.
cold water makes my hair feel like nothing touched it... so I agree with ya
YOU ARE SO RIGHT ABOUT THE COLD WATER! I rinse my low porosity hair with cold water and it was a tangled mess, I had to fix it with warm water and it was perfect.
i end with a warm water rinse as well, for the same reason. however, i never thought about drying with cool hair after. thanks for the tip!
Shea moisture has a line specific to low porosity
haven't tried it yet tho, I hope my hair likes it
Trying it soon!
I want to try it myself
She just uploaded the review! 🙃

agirl4lyfe omg i use the leave in detangler and it was amazing. Im in love
hey I recently just discovered that my hair is low porosity, so how to I prevent the knots in my hair
very informational! my hair hates olive oil but LOVES argan oil! Ima try the whole not using cold water though and see what happens.
My hair loves almond oil
This is such a great video! Very informative and it couldn't have come at a better time! I recently rinsed my hair with cold water (unintentionally) and discovered that was the reason my hair wasn't absorbing ANYTHING. After troubleshooting and researching porosity, I discovered that heat was what I needed to properly moisturize my strands and it worked! Thx my love x
Hey, could you recommend some good moisturizing leave-ins and deep conditioners for low porosity hair? Every time I try to find a new one it has protein in it and I'm trying to avoid using too much. Thank you!
Alikay naturals line is really good
As I am leave in conditioner. Kinky curly knot today leave in conditioner.
What is your price point? Kriya botanicals has amazing leave-ins and a deep conditioner based off porosity level.
Well Done! Very informative!
Thank You!
is coconut oil to heavy for low porosity hair ?
Did you ever figure out the answer? Good question
For me, it is. I have low porosity hair.
+Tsiania ok thanks girl
a lot of articles say it is, try grapeseed oil, avocado oil or argan oil
I have low porosity and coconut oil is my holy grail! Anything with coconut oil transforms my hair into soft frizz free ringlets! Also olive oil helps too xx
As someone with low porosity hair I have heard that low porosity hair uptakes fine powders well. I agree with the aforementioned points, and would like to add when conditioning with fine powders, I find I do not need heat.
Why is my hair happy when I apply avacodo oil
They contain great fatty acids .
Love your video! I have been natural for over a year now and have been struggling w what is going on w my hair! It's so dry but after watching your video, I realize I have low porosity hair too! Thanks so much!
aha !!! I knew my hair felt like sandpaper for a reason 😐😐😐 that cold water 😐😐😐
I've been natural for a few years and thought I was taking care of my hair, but I still got build up and matting, and was confused as to why I couldn't ever really moisturize my hair or even get it wet. turns out I have low porosity hair and was using a lot of methods and products that were totally not good for it! it's been a week caring for it with clarifying shampoos and very light oils and moisturizers and it's made a WORLD of difference! thank you!
+Bree Pearson glad i could help!
Thanks for a very useful video. Low porosity is tricky if not handled correctly
Thanks for all your information I have low porosity hair which takes forever to dry and the tips you gave are very helpful
Great video! Especially the part regarding the different proteins low porosity hair likes.
I just found out today that I have low porosity hair your video helped me out ALOT! I’m subscribing!
This really help me so much Especially warm water rinse and the Cool Blow dry...
This video is nothing but the truth! I can relate to everything you said in the video. I have been struggling with product build up and moisturizing my hair for the longest time so doing the test and finding out I have low porosity hair has been very helpful. Thank you so much for the great tips! I can't wait to try them out!
This is the most informative video that I've found on low porosity hair. THANK YOU!!!
Thanks
Applelonia Day no problem!
Agree 100% with the don't....final rinse with cold water. I tried it once and my hair felt horrible! Great video/great tips
Good information. I'm not sure what porosity my hair is yet
This was very helpful I have low porosity hair and I struggle with keeping in the moisture, thank you so much.
