3:16 This "Arcade game" is actually from DOOM 3, You can play it on the very first level of DOOM 3. I assume its called "Super turbo turkey puncher 3" is because it appeared in DOOM 3
when he looked to that easter egg i was thinking that the cap notice that the font used for "Super Turbo Turkey Puncher 3" it's the same font used for street fighter alpha 3
There are two little toy models that you missed. I dont remember what specific level it is on, but you can find a QuakeGuy model. The other is on the first level on Mars, and is appropriately named ClassicGuy. It's a version of the 1993 DoomGuy.
Hey there's a easter egg well hidden you missed; when you fight against the cyberdemon at the end of lazarus labs, if you analyze the soundtrack made specifically for that fight with a spectrogram, there's a clever secret right there (look for the official soundtrack by Mick Gordon). Also another easter egg missing at Vega central processing; when you are about to shut down Vega at the end of the level, just after the doomslayer pushes the last button at the console, by a slight moment you can see the original doomguy face smiling at the center of the line.
I replayed this game the other day. Probably one of my favourites in recent years. Cannot wait for the easter eggs and references to be found in the next game
Pretty sure you're right. All the figures have their own specific prefixes followed by guy eg vault-guy, quake-guy, keen-guy. The one he first bumps has the same color pallet of the doom marine and doom slayer and his figure name is "DOOM-guy"
Yeah its literally because its the figure of himself whereas the others are themed as other characters of bethesda, i mean if you found a badass action figure of yourself youd fist bump it too
also there are sound references to DOOM 3's weapons for example the ammunition for the bfg makes the same sound as when youre holding the soul cube, and when you change the mod of the gauss cannon to the precision bolt it has a sound of the DOOM 3's plasma rifle reload.
The reason he does the fist bump with the doom marine one and not the others is because that's him. It's his character. The others are the demons and guns
You missed a couple: the plasma rifle and he’ll knight designs are very similar to their incarnations in Doom 3 (also the Hell Knight in Doom 2016 acts a lot like the Fiends from Quake 1 but that’s not really an Easter egg; and the Barons act kinda like the Berserk Hunter from Resurrection of Evil), Super Turkey Turbo Puncher 3 was also in Doom 3, there was a collectible called the Quakeguy (maybe- I’m pretty sure he’s the one that unlocks the rocket launcher model), several doors have the Mixom/Moxim logos on them (also from doom 3), Samuel Hayden was the name of a scrapped villain from Doom 3 (which was why I was unsurprised by his betrayal at the end), and the 3 demons guarding the Crucible could have been a reference to the scrapped 4 barons that each guarded a piece of the Soul Cube in doom 3. Also, and this isn’t really an Easter egg (shoutout to Roanoke Gaming for causing me to notice this), but the cyberdemon’s weapon usage was kinda similar to the way the Doomslayer uses his weapons in Eternal (a blade/claw on one arm and a weapon in/on the other, with additional weapons mounted on the shoulder/back... and the shared dash ability!!!). In addition, the imps and prowlers from Eternal look kinda like the spiky imps featured in the early doom 2016 builds. Also... was the penultimate Easter egg (“happy birthday”) a reference to something or just put there for the hell of it (no pun intended)?
*Mass murder is easy when you have some killer tunes.* (I found that sentence on a doom video and I decided to quote it and place the quote here because I feel like it’s relevant)
I have to agree that the one Doom Giy Figurine was indeed a Big Hero 6 reference. The figurine's outfit matches the original design of Baymax's armor almost perfectly, and the way Doom Guy repositions the hand of the figurine is also incredibly similar.
"The fact that this is the 3rd entry in the Super Turbo Turkey series makes me wonder how much the gameplay has evolved from the first two Super Turbo Turkey Punching games" I get the feeling that considering its arcade origins, its more then likely a second further improved version of the original Turkey Puncher 3 (Coming only a year after the already improved Turbo Turkey Puncher 3). Mostly just movement speed, faster recovery, newer levels and some newer tougher difficulties that really squeeze the coins out of the unlucky players. I just hope we eventually get a 4th entry in the mainline Turkey Puncher series, nothing really fulfills that niche to repeatedly and endlessly punch Turkeys.
I think the hologram(grenade) data references the movie Total Recall because the data along the line says " the device was first theorized by popular culture media of the late 20th century." In Total Recall Quaid (Arnold Schwarzenegger) use the hologram, which was a wrist mounted watch instead of a grenade; to trick and distract a bunch of bad guys, so that he can shoot. It a stretch but I believe that the a connection is there.
The fist bump isn't really a reference to anything he just does that because the figure is of the Doom Slayer himself. The Super Turbo Turkey Puncher 3 Cabinet also originates from Doom 3 if you didn't already know that of course
I'm pretty sure that the fingerprint scanner you place the severed hand on has the words Z-Sec on it as also another callback to Doom 3 like with the SoulCube and Super Turbo Turkey Puncher 3.
you missed one easter egg, the font of the super turbo turkey puncher game uses the same logo style as street fighter alpha 3, also he fist bumps that bobblehead because that is the original look of the doomslayer from the classic games.
6:56 you know that voice? If you play it backwards, does it also say “To win the game you must kill me: John Romero” like in the second game? Or does it play something different?
Fun fact that isnt an easter egg in this game but still pretty cool, doom guy himself is actually a descendant of the protaganist from wolfenstein, whos name i cant spell but can say
The reason why he first bumps that doom guy model is because that doom figure you pick up is a model of doom marine and doom slayer knows it's a model of himself so he fistbumps his model toy

I sincerely doubt the fist bump/explosion thing is a reference to a recent Disney movie considering it's been in the public consciousness since at least the 70's... Probably the 60's and Vietnam too.
Capt eggcellent the fist bump doom figure I think it's because it's the same armor doom guy wears which is the Marine armor so he fist bumps it because it's like a mini him or I'm just stupid and it's another reason

@@gasselik yeah I think it's a street fighter easter egg
I think it was also in one of the "Gear of War" games, but you couldn't play it.
@@Idunno1707 Hmmm... Looks like there is more than I thought to that little arcade game
Tenacious_Diaz might also be a reference to Tenacious D, especially with their movie starring Dave Grohl playing Satan.

It is probably.
Could be two Easter eggs in 1.

Anyone else think that the name "Soul Cube" sounds less like a weapon, and more like a 70's disco group?
It's the least threatening name ever given to a weapon that can wipe demons from existence
I agree
9:33 he even appears in Hitman 2 as an elusive target known as "The Undying" who reappears after countless assassination attempts
Chris Hope yeah it’s pretty funny
What a good time for this to come out. I just finished the campaign like right now. 10/10 would rate again
I just finished it a couple of days ago too
I finished it 2 weeks ago badass game I can’t wait for eternal I just replayed doom 2 today

The logo for Super Turbo Turkey Puncher 3 is also a reference to Street Fighter Alpha 3 in terms of logo design!

RPADuffys score is also the US/Canada release date for Doom 3
I think RGL-9000 is a reference to a Id employee whose name abbreviated sounded similar to the iconic BFG-9000.
