What's YOUR favourite grade? Of course whatever grade you're working at will often be the one you go for, but if you have a favourite grade that isn't simply at the limit of your ability let me know! I'm fairly new to climbing so it's exciting to see someone talk specifically about V3s. I really enjoy that you think aloud during the climbs, helps guide us learners.
I feel like v5 was my favourite to unlock, getting my first few required learning how to try harder than I thought I could. I feel like sometimes people get complacent at v3 like it's a kind of comfort food if that makes sense
The hardest grade I send will always be my favourite to unlock. I’ve only done a soft v5, but that’s the grade I’m striving for. At that point, yeah maybe v3 will become comfort food but right now it’s still very much a challenge.
Great job on all of these. Pushing through the fear and still going with confidence. I fully agree that V3s are the most interesting of the grades. They have such varying styles and moves they are so much fun.
I remember V3 was a big milestone for me. I still run into V3s that give me problems. I would say V4s are probably most satisfying for me currently. V2 can have some really fun climbs to.
Love your vids and channel! I am 38 and 225 lbs getting into bouldering, it's great to see others who are at a physical disadvantage powering through. Great inspiration!
I definitely love V3, it's such a great grade and usually one of the best goals to have starting out, and because its very technical, sometimes I'll even fall on a V3 graded climb despite being a little bit higher than that level. I also love V5, because it's kind of similar to V3, except there is a slightly more advanced use of techniques, sometimes its entirely impossible to do the climb without finding the exact beta. Love your videos!
Thanks you! Yes I can see myself loving v5 too if my ability improves enough to consistently send that grade. I can occasionally do odd moves on them and I when pull it off it feels very satisfying!
I actually agree with the other climber that said like V3s are like comfort food, they are often complex enough to be their own little puzzle and they have interesting movement instead of being jug ladders, but people get stuck there because they forget how to try hard, with really good technique you can usually climb gym V3s effortlessly and that’s not good for you, climbing should require you to make effort.
Although I’m personally striving to be a better climber, to improve my technique and send harder grades, I think everyone should climb in a way that makes them happy. There’s no right or wrong :)

Your Channel is so underrated for beginners and provide sort of free coaching for people up to this stage, thanks

Amazing!! Thank you so much! Just started climbing 2 weeks ago. Learning so much, your video is so helpful for my level!!

V2 can have some really fun climbs to.
That’s cool to hear. I’m just about to venture into v4’s but you don’t hear many people talking about them much.
Nice work on the dyno at the end. Sick send.
Thanks a lot, it was touch and go there on that swing!
Such a great video! Thank you. Subscribed ❤️
Thanks! ☺️
Sweet video!
Thanks!
V12. Because it will always remind me I will never get there.
The highest grade I’ve seen in an indoor gym is v11 so I guess we’ll have to settle with that ;)
V3 truely is the best grade. So much variety!

Thanks so much! That's exactly what I'm aiming to do in my channel, to show that bouldering really is for everyone.

@@OnTheCrux Absolutely, it’s nice to see a technique that you’re good at on V3 be something you can use for a move on a V5!
I think it’s true that from V4+, finger strength matters.
honestly yeah lol, v3s have the most potential for fun and learning I feel like

V3 🩵
I think V4 was the initial "best".
