- The 2022 Toyota Sienta Hybrid is Toyota's latest small MPV that is officially imported by Borneo Motors Singapore. This affordable MPV is also a hybrid MPV, and features Toyota's renowned hybrid system, which combines the petrol engine with an electric motor. As a mini MPV, road and wind noise can be quite present while driving, but its practicality does allow you to have 3 rows of seats. Other features on the car include a shift by wire system, cruise control, a touchscreen infotainment system, and dual powered sliding doors. The Toyota Sienta Hybrid also has very good fuel efficiency.

Hi! The bottle size indicators are a safety feature. Toyota being safety conscious, is hinting to the driver not to put too large a bottle in the doorcard. This is to prevent the possibility of a large size bottle from dislodging during a sudden bump, and getting stuck in the brake or accelerator pedal area. No such risk for the front passenger so large bottles are definitely ok!
Interesting thought and a considerate feature I suppose. I think it’s a little pointless though. A small bottle of the correct circumference would also run the same risk of getting stuck beneath the pedals. So I don’t think the size of the bottle really matters.
Thanks for the detailed review!!! Godspeed!
Thank you for the support! Glad you enjoyed the review!
Thanks for the informative review! Such a family friendly vehicle.
Thank you for watching and for the support. Glad to be of help.
Compare with freed ?
Next time use a mic & get rid of the background music
Sure. Next time I need an opinion from a keyboard warrior I’ll be sure to let you know my friend. You seem like the type who knows it all.
@@roadpilgrim Next time don't make a video if you can't accept positive criticism. My God..children nowadays🤦♂️
@@comments7335 I think you should take a look at how I respond to the other comments on all my videos. I am appreciative of anyone who has taken the time to watch one one of my videos and given input. Your comment wasn’t meant constructively and you know it. There is a reason the video is shot in this manner, but your boomer mind just can’t comprehend what you don’t know so you take a snipe. Take a look at my road trip video to Malaysia and tell me again that my production team doesn’t know what they are doing. Watch it and tell me that this video is this way because we are incompetent.
So cute
Cute car indeed.
I am driving the previous version sienta... Which looks like a car. This one looks like a van, like what u mentioned.
Yeah the previous version actually looks quite nice if it’s dressed up with nicer wheels. The new interior is a lot better though.
Thanks for the review, how's the road noise like like 90-100kmh?
Hey man. As an entry level MPV, insulation is definitely not as great as other cars on the market. But 90-100km/h is definitely still comfortable. Quite enough to have a conversation without raising your voice for sure
@@roadpilgrim if drive to Malaysia, 110kmh means should be very tough on the ears ?
@@Arthur-tf3ub no I don’t think so. All this is subjective as well isn’t it? If you’re coming from a more premium car - you might feel like the Sienta is noisy. But if you’re coming from another entry level car - it’s gonna be comparable. Bottom line is, the Sienta is comparable to other cars in its segment.
@@roadpilgrim thanks for sharing !
Does the side mirrors go down when reverse?
Hey man. In the Singapore spec car they do not.
Singapore is definitely not the last strong hold for mpv, look at Hong Kong, MPV is literally everywhere
That’s good to know. Unfortunately places like Hong Kong, Singapore, and probably Taiwan are still rather small markets compared to the rest of the world. So our love for MPVs is unlikely to influence the rest of the world.
IS THE DRIVER SEAT ELBOW REST INSTALLATION
WAIT WHAT HUH?
Also, based on the brochures I've seen recently, I'm not entirely sure this test car you reviewed is considered the dual toned. The dual tone colored scheme cars on brochure seem to refer to those with the differentiated painted roof. A black roof which is akin to the dual tone paint styling from the C-HR hybrid days and different from the color painted on the car body.
Hey man. Thanks for pointing this out. You might be right. The dual tone cars seem be blacked out all the way from the roof down to the pillars.
hows the 3rd row?
It’s tight. More for younger kids who no longer require a booster seat, or for petite sized adults on short journeys.
Is this car comes with a spare tire
Hey man. No the Sienta Hybrid does not come with a spare tire. It comes with a repair kit.
are there child lock on this car?
Lol! I didn’t check to be honest. But I’m pretty sure there is. Curious but have you ever seen another MPV that did not have a child lock?
Looks like a bloated japanese 600cc kei car.
Haha well some people like bloated looking Japanese Kei cars. The more bloated the better it seems.
