When the passenger side air con is in eco mode, is the driver side air con actually blowing stronger? If this is the case then it is ok.
Cute car this is the next car I wish to drive
Background music drowned out your voice. Other than that it seemed to be a good review when I could hear what you were saying.
Yeah thanks man. Early days then. The new reviews don’t have music anymore.
Any update on the wiper? how is it performing after 11 months of use?
Still going strong actually. The wiper still passes on the hydrophobic qualities to the windscreen. That said, I do park in a sheltered carpark most of the time.
I like your wristwatch!
Thanks man. Reminiscent of Jeremy Clarkson.
@ I used to have the same watch but had issues so sold it after getting it repaired. I have the current model now I like you video. I’m looking into the i4 myself
This car can come with a panoramic roof, it's just not standard. -i5 Touring owner
Sure. I was just making the point that on a car like the i5 touring, it would be nice if the pano roof came as standard.
Put in m2… and how it’s set up. ???? What a useless video.
Hi, very nice review. When you are driving on the highway with 120 to 130 km/hour, the noise level is acceptable or too high?
It’s quite acceptable. I would not say the noise level is too high.
Is this a new Yaris Cross model?
What a massive boot 😍
5 Golf bags worth of space lol.
All I can say , this car works . Winther and snowy mountain roads . 5 months pr year .That's the reality in North of Europe.
It’s a shame this car doesn’t sell well in Singapore. It costs more than $400k to buy brand new here.
Next review.. The byd m6..the specs make it look like a really slow mpv.
I guess most non-performance EVs look like they have poor horsepower. The torque figures are however quite solid.

Hahahaha brain stalled for a moment there.

one of the better reviewers in Singapore. great job bro. love the seal so much
Thanks for the support and the kind words man! Yeah the Seal is definitely one of the better cars of 2024 for sure
waiting for new facelift of BYD seal 2025 model
Bro, latest OTA update has 3 finger gesture to control aircon temp and wind strength
Ok and?
@@roadpilgrim he just want to let you know 😅
Just Say Hey byd, my butt is hot
Can review the new Camry ?
I could test drive this version and the power is more than enough for my use case. I don’t have any problem with the «small» rims. They still look good and are much more comfortable. But the car is too low for me and I also don’t like the traditional trunk. So I am waiting for the Sea Lion 7 which is higher, has a hatch and still doesn’t look to boxy like other SUVs.
Hi, just want to add-on. You miss out something very important in the interior. Apparently when BMW switch this car to "right-hand" drive, they did not change 2 things. One is the gear level & the other is the arm-rest compartment. The gear level might still be ok, but the compartment is not so. Pushing the button will open up the cover towards you which is counterintuitive. This can be a deal breaker because it feels like BMW didn't bother to fix this aspect for their "right-hand" market customer. I feel those who own the new X1 should collectively speak out & insist BMW to change it for them. On top of these as well, is the missing signature knob which helps with navigating.. they took it out & now everything is touch screen which can be troublesome if your driving. If you say is the new BMW theme moving forward, then look at the new 3-Series, the knob is still there. In Malaysia, there isn't many X1 on the road (right now is 2024), which speaks volume on why this car is a failed product. Hopefully the next facelift will fix these problem!
It’s common knowledge that European made vehicles, when adapted to a right hand drive configuration, tend to have some compromises in their design. It’s not that I don’t notice them - but literally every car has these quirks. I get that you may find it a deal breaker, but other people may not. The car sells exceptionally well in Singapore, even with our ridiculous price tags. If you feel very strongly about the car - that’s all well and good. However, consider that the right hand drive market is factually a rather small one in the grand scheme of things. If automakers were to legitimately “convert” each panel for the right hand drive market, it would make the car cost a certain amount more. Would you be happy to pay that certain amount more? On an X1? I think most people wouldn’t bother. Perhaps on a 5 series or a 7 series this would matter more - but not an X1.
Actually the review of this whole car is pretty much summarised by watching the last 22:00 onwards 😂
lol. Saving the best for last.
Egoistic nut case driver jealous of your coupe la hahaha😂 still want to play punk at 22:25 not that want to say, but Macedes driver usually one kind 😂
maybe they should come up with a Cat A version to compete with Seal and Model3..
They do. They have two CAT A versions. The Exclusive and Prestige. 👍
@@roadpilgrim wow i didnt know they were Cat A - I remember seeing 140ish horses on the specs.
Yes that’s right actually. But for EVs the tolerance for CAT A was increased to 148bhp (110kw)
@@roadpilgrim Sorry mate I wasnt aware of the 110KW change. more manufacturers should take advantage of the additional capacity to fit into cat A- it'll definitely help push the heavier EVs off the line and probably help with range too.
No worries man. All friendly here. Tbh I didn’t know this initially too. Was surprised to find 148bhp EVs in CAT A 😂. But yes I think the CAT A EVs are a really good thing for Singapore. The power and torque is from a CAT A EV is more than enough for Singapore roads.
the side panel is supposed to be a camera of the side mirror like KIA EV9.
Cool. Thanks for the input. Appreciate it!
How’s your feeling with the suspension ?
It’s on the firmer side for sure - especially with the larger wheels. If comfort is a priority, I’d recommend the X1 instead with the regular multi link suspension.
Polestar 4 review coming up? :)
Yeah I think so? Hahaha. We haven’t made arrangements for the test car but I think it should be coming.
Looking forward to ur next review. Keep it up! @@roadpilgrim
I don't get perforated leather seats. They are a nightmare to clean, especially if one is to have children smearing chocolate and puking all over... just as bad as fabric seats. There are few good seat options in EVs it seems, and as an effect I feel steered towards getting an ICE car with proper seat materials instead.
The driver of the car sounded so done
Martin George Robinson Christopher Jackson Anthony
THE VYBE AND QUALITY OF THIS VIDEO IS IMMACULATE!! GREAT VIDEO DUDE!

Where are all the ea888 2.0t at 200+hp.. .. ..
COE prices happened.
@@roadpilgrim kind of sad. Audi and vw all down tuned their 2.0 for Arteon and A5. Left with only Octavia combi rs with some fun.
this or X2?
X2 for me. Better looking and better badge. It would be different if it were a 2.0L Tiguan though.
Hi is this better than Kona and Corolla cross?
Build quality is better than the Kona, Drive is better than the Corolla Cross because of the 7 speed DCT, but Corolla Cross wins for economy by far. I drove more than 1000km on its 43 litre tank.
Well articulated, thanks bro!
Thank you for the support
These tiguans in SG, where are they assembled?
@@icarefor2010 I think they are assembled in Wolfsburg
They are assembled in Germany.
It is Cipressino Green
I wished they bring in the 1.6T + Hybrid
Can I used back the old cable as plug n play for the front & rear camera?
It depends. There are a few different types of power cables that dashcams in the industry use. So if it’s the same, you can probably reuse.
is it stock?
My b9 sounds the same and its stock
I had watched a ton of reviews before I discovered this newly posted review. The mood was a little sombre and hilarious at different times. It seemed as you had high expectations of the car and perhaps the experience was not the most exciting. Hilarious because of the OBU no doubt - #LTA what a joy killer. I have had the car for 2 weeks and it took a while to figure out all the quirky bits - brakes, OBU, etc. It can be boring for a normal morning drive to work because it's just so effortless and silent but if you put it on some twisty roads or hit a clear section of road, just enjoy the smooth and delicious power.
Yes I wanted to like this car very much. lol
W204 and 212 are IMO the pinnacle of merc engineering.
For me it’d be the W124, W211, and W221
Thank you for the review!! Considering purchasing. Also, you kinda sound Nigerian.
Lol! Please don’t send me money. Not a Nigerian prince.
In electric cars with rear-wheel drive, the rear brakes are rarely used. This is due to regeneration via the engine. Disc brakes that are rarely used rust faster than drum brakes, which is why Audi uses them. Drum brakes are also cheaper to maintain. And it must have also played a role that Audi was able to save costs with this.
Thanks for sharing man. Makes sense.
I found the physical brake feel rather spongy, but when used in B mode or Dynamic mode the regenerative braking is almost instant, almost like one-pedal driving down to 5km/h then brakes are required. My suspicion is that the car is designed more for the regeneration which reinforces the argument for advanced drum brakes.
hi, understand that there are some issues on this car. It's this Cat A or Cat B model?
The car in this review is the CAT A model
Great video and elaboration on how the car performs.
Anyone scratch your car, can detect to catch the culprit?
Nice vid girl, I agree, it looks more like a C-class, no pillarless B pillar, just doesn't have the gravitas of the E-class and S-Class coupes.
Does it hv a 360 view camera as indicated in sgcarmart?
Hey man. Yes and no. It has a top view 360, but it’s not a 3D 360. Personally I like the top view 360 better as it’s easier to use as a parking aid.
Hi - are you planning to do a review for The new Tiguan?
Yes! Coming up in August
