"Are you driving with your eyes open? Or are you using the force!" One of the BEST movie lines ever!
My favorite line.
Molto meglio la traduzione in italiano!!!
Soprattutto la risata migliore doppiato in italiano!!!
Cit " stai guidando con tutti e due gli occhi aperti? O con le chiappe aperte??" 😂😂😂😂
Lmao especially when Rosewood looked back at him after the line lol. That was okay I know I'm a bad driver when shyt gets crazy lol
I love that, because of the fact that Star Wars is still part of pop culture nowadays, a nearly forty-year-old reference is still relevant now.
I knew you girls would love it. Thank you. Now please do 48 Hours parts 1 & 2. The fact that no one recognizes Paul Reiser anymore is heartbreaking. No that wasn't a Chris Rock cameo. That was Eddie giving a young up and coming comic a break.
Reiser was great in 'Diner' too
I hated Paul Reiser for a DECADE after Aliens (F you Burke!) but really came around watching Mad About You (💘 Helen Hunt!😅)
🤣😂🤣
Mad About You was so entertaining
Paul was hilarious in, my two dad's.
@@warhawk525used to love that, had a massive crush on Shelby (Amy Hathaway) and introduced Giovanni Rabisi.
The thing I love about this movie is that it develops the characters’ relationships from the last movie. They’re not stagnant, they didn’t regress. They became good friends between the films. I love it.
that's great writing
@@theawesomeman9821💯💯💯
A shame that didn't carry much into part 3.
21:43 Edgy Billy ftw 🗡️
@@jcrowellz2000 right? I always say one of the big issues is that none of the characters seem like themselves. Like that is not the Billy we left at the end of part 2. Even Axel isn't immune (and is probably why Murphy has always been negative about 3). It woulda made more sense for him to be as hotheaded as he gets with DeWald in the first movie, but he's almost inhumanly calm with Maitland. He's like a bull in a China shop in 3, constantly showing his hand and operating way out in the open (with the exception of the really bad Okie Dokey thing). Where's all the conning? That's half his freaking character.
39:47 Ironically we hear Taggert say "f*ck Rambo." right before we see the "big b*tch" played by Stallone's ex-wife. LOL
Facts! 😂
'Max' voiced Rocky in the first couple of Rocky movies for the German Rocky dubs, so there's another link between Sly movies and Cop II.
@@mattp6089 and he still dubs Stallone in Escape Plan 3, Creed 2, Rambo: Last Blood and Samaritan.
He is 83 years old now.
That and the Cobra movie poster in Billy's closet. Seeing how Stallone was going to be the star in Beverly Hills Cop, but when that fell through everyone agreed to let Stallone keep the stuff he wrote for Cop and that became Cobra
Brigette smashing Eddie ended the marriage to Sly lol
Axel is rubbing off on Rosewood, Taggart AND both of yall! 😂 I'm loving these reactions. Glad y'all are watching these.
Watch the 3rd. It's different but not too bad
This movie is awesome and underrated. Critics hated this movie saying it was too similar to the first movie. When actually it is more action packed and more funnier than the first movie. The villains are more stronger than the previous villain. This movie was directed by Tony Scott who directed Top Gun. That is why this movie is so awesome.
You know another goodie Tony Scott directed? One NASCAR oriented movie called Days Of Thunder, which like Top Gun, starred Tom Cruise.
That lady in the beginning used to be Sylvester Stallones wife during the First Blood and Rocky 3 days. She also played the wife of Soviet soldier/Boxer Ivan Drago in Rocky 4
Achara and Rosewood gets wilder every movie 😂
Achara: "P*ssy Insurance". 👀 😮😅
35:25 Achara never ceases to surprise me 😂😂
The actor who played bogemill was in RoboCop which came out the same year as this one which is why he wasn't in here much and use the plot of him getting hospitalized.
I actually like him in BHC where he’s a good guy. It’s a nice change.
He normally plays an asshole antagonist like in Robocop, Total Recall, and Stargate SG1.
@@paratus04 lol u ain't lying he does play some assholes
@@paratus04 He was in a old movie with James brolin called " the car" about a car being possessed by a demon , basically Christine before christine
Yeah, and he actually looks like a really nice guy in these movies. Probably had a bigger range than he was given the chance to showcase. Damn type casting.. 😄
Cohagen!
Im dyin at the "pussy insurance" line 😂😂😂
Well, she's not wrong...
That's what that is ... 😂😂😂😂😂
Jaby's influence no doubt
Such a fun reaction. I appreciate that you went with the fun instead of getting offended by some of the 80's sexism. The third movie isn't as good as the first two, IMO, but it still has its fun moments.
Ruthless People staring Judge Reinhold a must watch funny as hell 😂
Hands down, the two best reactors for movies. These ladies are amazing.
First off, after seeing your reaction to the girls in the club, I can honestly say that y'all ain't lost a damn thing and that you both can easily give them all a run for their money!
Also, Kristen is right, Achara has gotten very sassy and very risqué with her jokes in all her reactions, and I am all about it!
Both of your infectious personalities are what make you ladies a 15 out of 10. Keep up the great work.
One of my favorite running bits is how Axel keeps coming across money (usually by conning someone, but he does grab that 50 he gives to Chris Rock from the armored car) and giving it away.
I still jam to Bob Seger's "Shakedown" song from the opening credits in this film. A classic sequel and Eddie Murphy was still firing on all cylinders when this movie came out in 1987. Great reaction, ladies!!
I jam out to "Better Way" all the time. The music in this film is so good.
Great reaction Achara and Kristen like always, love this one. The accountant's office scene was entirely improvised by Eddie and Gilbert. Just two champion tier comedians given nothing but their characters and a blank check to do whatever. The superglue thing is real-ish. It works as described, but takes about 24 hours. You can also do it with iodine crystals, if you can get them. It's faster, but the print only shows up for a short time, before the rest of the paper turns purple, so you need to be ready. Keep up the good work
I was blessed to grow up in the 80s. 🙏🏾
The first and 2nd movie are definitely my fav & Eddie Murphy is still one of the best comedians to me 😂
Achara & Kristen are THE PERFECT DUO !!!
25:20 Billy gets better with each movie. Can’t wait to see what they do with him in the fourth movie. 47:46 the reason I think the second is better than the first is Billy. I love what they are doing with Billy.
You can tell this movie had a totally different director (Tony Scott) than the first movie. Even the Police Station is completely different looking. And the action is so fantastic. Just like True Romance. Written by Quentin Tarantino. Top Gun.
BTW, that wasn't a Chris Rock cameo... It was one of this first roles. He hadn't made a name for himself yet. But he made a huge impression. Everything changed for him afterwards.
Glad you loved the movie. One of my all-time favorites. ❤
Can you split hairs any thinner?
I knew you'd love Rosewood in this one. Glad the sequel came so fast
Brigitte Nielsen was beautiful!!! She's also in "Cobra" with Stallone and "Red Sonja" with Arnold!! 😊
Gilbert Gottfreid is FANTASTIC!! Ya'll should react to some of his stand up! 😂🤣😂🤣
She's Flavor Flav Ex too 😂
@@briandiggs3508 oh yeah, she been married a bunch, cheated on most, was the "other woman" for others! (*COUGH*Schwarzenegger*COUGH*) 😁
She's a walking red flag 304! 😂🤣😂🤣
@@briandiggs3508Interesting ... my comment got deleted -.- ... ANYWAYS! :D
Yeah she dated, married and cheated a bunch from the 80s to the '10s 😊 (Schwarzenegger) ... she might be beautiful but still a 304! 🚩🚩😂🤣
@@michaelriddick7116 she smashed Eddie too imagine the movie business folk in Hollywood too lol drugs drink took their toll on her
This was the first BHC movie I saw.
Recorded on a VCR from the TV at my grandparents house.
Loved it and saw it many times.
This IMO is THE BEST one out of All 3👍R.I.P. Tony Scott (the Director) and Thank You!
That post-watch chat was wild... What with Kristen talking about preferring 'implied' things big... things... and the PB Mansion and Achara being the... Billy of plants?? 😂
18:46 Fun Fact #1: A fire hydrant would not get knocked over THAT easily...I've been behind one when a car hit it head on from the other side and it did NOT even crack...it got moved a bit.
Fun Fact #2: On the SUPER RARE chance a hydrant DOES get broken off, the water would NOT spew up like that...The water pipe has a seal BELOW the ground, turning the bolt on the top of the hydrant PUSHES the seal down to allow the water to flow, the water pressure behind the seal is what actually PREVENTS the water from spewing out like it does in movies
I really recommend End of watch. Really good cop movie. You guys will enjoy BHC3......
18:02 Kristen being humble 😂
I believe her 😃
Pics or didn’t happen :b
BHC II will always be my favorite. If you loved Eddie in BHC II you both definitely have to watch Bowfinger..he's absolutely hilarious. Really hoping BHC IV restores the action and comedy that BHC III missed which felt more of a watered down cash grab but still, it's Eddie Murphy. RIP Tony Scott
It won't. After Coming 2 America sequel that was a dumpster fire, I don't trust Eddie Murphy doing sequels to movies that should have been done 20 or 30 years ago. This upcoming one will make people appreciate Beverly Hills Cop III.....SMH!!!!
@@lirpa2300 True. But you have to remember, these days, what Eddie did back then, there's no way it would fly by todays so called standards of being careful with what you say due to sensitivity LOL. BHC III was somewhat entertaining...weak, but entertaining nonetheless. And yes, you are right. C2A was a total let down. I really thought the story was going to be somewhat original and producers/ writers and director would let him let loose like he did in the first.
I don’t think IT’s mentioned enough how much Eddie supported other talented comedians coming up in the 80s. He did it for Damon and Chris Rock, Etc.
Also Bronson Pinchot and Dave Chappelle
And a waylan, forget first name but it was the same waylan family you are probably thinking when you see that last name
11:31/"God damb, that's a big bitch!" was a Ad-lib from Eddie Murphy that made it's way into this movie!! He said that, because compared to many other people, he's very short!! 🎉 😂
Is that actually true?
@@TheScribe1.0 Yes, that's actually true.
I'm not surprised that you two enjoyed this movie. This is definitely my favorite but the first one definitely sets the tone and the start of a beautiful friendship between the the characters almost a modern day Three Musketeers in a sense. Awesome reaction ladies
R.I.P to the late Tony Scott.
Always fun to watch Dean Stockwell (Kane). He was great as Al in the original Quantum Leap tv series...
I've seen the thirst comments on this channel, I don't think Kristen has anything to worry about. 😅
50:36 he still the same guy, just more confident and more willing to indulge in his fantasy of being an action hero. In the mansion shootout in the first movie he talks about the situation they were in being just like the classic movies of old, and he was totally getting off on it.
the beggining heist is like a cut scene from millars dark knight returns
@11:50 Tom Bower (Russ Fielding) also played Marvin the janitor in Die Hard 2.
I saw a Tony Scott bio and he had specific requirements. To make a movie big, it needed a big soundtrack with several number one hits.
Tony Scott is a legend, some bangers he put out in his life
Beverly hills cop films 1 and 2
Enemy of the state
Crimson tide
Man on fire
The fan just to name a few
🤔🗣️Last Boy Scout, too, 🔦🫡 ehh,RW?🙂☕️🫸🏿
@@gregoryjenkins8645 didn't know he directed LBS
No wonder why this movie is a *BIG* BANGER, glad it was him who directed it, he gave it all cool lighting as well
35:25 literally spat out my wine 🍷😅😅😅 wasn't expecting that at all from Achara
0:30 - This is actress Brigitte Nielsen. She was at one time married to Sylvester Stallone, and she later in life had a romantic relationship with Flava Flav from rap group Public Enemy. Talk about two total opposites of the pendulum, huh? LOL.
She was in a really cool movie with Stallone #tltle "Cobra" (1986).
She's also the one who played Ivan Drago's wife in Rocky IV, and reprised that role in the film, Creed II.
16:31 . Seeing "Tagart in those pants still cracks me up 😂
Y'all are so funny and crazy but in the best way possible lol. Love y'all friendship
The "Richard James" line was timely as Eddie was hanging out with Rick James at the time. As a matter of fact, he produced Eddie's first album. Oh, and Kristen, quit rubbing off on sweet, innocent Achara.🤣🤣🤣
Best ladies duo in the TH-camr 'verse. Y'all work of each other so well and you can tell (at least for the camera) that Y'all genuinely love being around each other. 😊
Maybe it's me but I honestly don't think there's nothing wrong with Kristen body now wow ❤
This is probably the best one out of the franchise, especially on the form of Billy. Billy was really the star of this film. The evolution of the character continues throughout the franchise. No a lot of people are saying don't watch the third one, but I suggest you do to give a full observation of the franchise so far does have some moments but it's not that bad as everybody thinks it is. I suggest you see for yourselves, ladies. There is a major death in the third one.
I vote that you complete any series you start. No one likes a quitter.
You 2 seem like fun at a party!
As a Finnish man who did my conscription service in the Mortar Company, I can tell the grenade Billy pocketed was a mortar shell, which you cannot fire without the weapon. The LAW (Light Anti-tank Weapon) he took is a single-shot and cannot be reloaded, so I don't know what the film makers were going with that scene. Maybe Billy just wanted a souvenier lamp post?
You left the part where Axel boss was fussing at him and telling him his friend wrecked the car
we go in moon with this computer i can't believe it 32:03 🤣🤣👌
I love that Billy becomes that uber-cop that was popular in the action cop movies of those days. In the first movie he had his little .38 Pistol vs. Machine Guns....he may have over-corrected. LOL.
The third one is great and even with all the action it more emphasizes comedy and suspense with Alex playing an elephant. It is still my favorite due to how they bring out the comedy from the actors and the sadness for the plot to happen.
This was the next film for top producers Jerry Bruckheimer & the late Don Simpson with the late director Tony Scott after Top Gun (1986).
Everything taken up a notch.
Smarter bad guys, bigger stakes, more laughs and the action was off the hook.
Murphy continues to be the best as Axel F.
I like that Taggart & Rosewood get more growth in their characters than just 'one is serious, the other is still learning' kind of pair.
Brigitte Nielsen (Sly's wife at the time) made for a pretty good villainess.
This is one of the best sequels of it's era.
1987's highest-opening weekend debut and the highest grossing, opening weekend of that time.
Won 6 awards and nominated in the Best Original Song category (Oscar & Golden-Globe) for Bob Segar-Shakedown off a slammin' soundtrack.
BTW, Beverly Hills Cop II and Robocop came out the same summer.
In common, both films were smash hits about an main hero character of the Detroit police.
Veteran actor Ronny Cox was in both films, Bogomil in BHC2 and Dick Jones
(first-ever villain role) in Robocop.
Part 3 is considered the worse of the trilogy.
Although it's Eddie's 3rd film with John Landis.
If you wanna watch it, go ahead.
But be prepared to see why it's as bad as it is.
Did Don die before or after production wrapped on The Rock?
@@brucechmiel7964 after.
January 1996.
"Goddamn, thats a big bitch" had to be one of my favorite lines of all time. I don't know why but the way Eddie Murphy delivers it just cracks me up every time.
I didn't know achara had this side....I love it😂❤😂❤
48 hours is a great Eddie film as well , must watch
You just can’t beat a good 80’s buddy cop action comedy. The music, the fashion, the jokes (no one gave an f about political correctness). It was such a special era. Tony Scott had such a unique and distinctive style. God rest his soul. Beverley Hills Cop 3 is bad, real bad but I’d still be interested to see what you guys think of it. Another great reaction. Thanks again ladies.
Watch part 3 please finish it. See how yall like it
Cant wait to see reaction to 3
Achara is kind of like the Billy of Cinepals, getting crazier each time 😆
Side note, the girls in the club are nice. The girls on screen here are just as, if not nicer 😉
Yeah. The 80s was a fun time for movies; I know it's an old line, but the truth is they don't "make 'em like this anymore."
A real shame. Still a very amount of video games are still this fun.
Achara!!!! lol this was a fun one to watch from both of you lol 😊 Glad you enjoyed this movie , it’s a top favorite of mine for sure.
Awesome reaction, you ladies made watching this movie again so much fun. Thank you!
Very good watch. This is easily my favorite. I had a blast watching this with you two. I hope you ladies have a wonderful day. 🌻🌼
40:06...Mr. Rambo 😅...yet she answered her own question previously 😂 39:50... this is my favorite sequel out of this franchise
Note to self: Achara is a fan of golf grand dad chic...
When are you guys going to watch Lethal Weapon 3 and 4.
I laughed so hard at the part where Billy reveals his switchblade and tells Taggart it's for home protection (while breaking into someone's place of business). This might sound weird, but I could totally see my dad responding same way that Taggart did if I pulled one of those out lol
From now on I want u 2 to review movies all the time yall make me laugh so hard luv both of yall.❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂
Best Sequel Ever, Great Reaction Ladies
The bad guy in this movie is played by Jürgen Prochnow, one of the most famous German actors of the 70s and 80s. If you want to branch out into foreign movies. I highly recommend "Das Boot". That movie was nominated for 6 Oscars, several Golden Globes and a variety of other awards.
Part II is better in terms of the action. The comedy is better in the first one. The third one isn't great, but it's still worth a watch.
I agree with your first point.
I agree with your second point.
But not the third.
Might as well skip the third movie and watch something good instead.
It's a big disappointment. Almost a kids movie.
Me as a big big fan of Eddie Murphy i can say for sure Beverly Hills Cop 3 is really bad and not worth watching.
Even when i was kid, for the first time watching Beverly Hills Cop 3 i was like "wtf is this shit"
Please, there's worse Eddie Murphy movies out there and Beverly Hills Cop 3 is not one of them. And I guarantee that the upcoming Beverly Hills Cop 4 movie will be worse.
@@lirpa2300 who's going to tell them Pluto Nash exists... 👀

Well, back in 1986 and 87, it was a little bit easier to get around LA. Traffic wasn't that bad Back then..... it was during rush hour, but back then Rush Hour was literally an hour.
Them taking down "Bogemill early was rough. I love how serious everything is. I love it. I also own this classic.👍

This Movis is a Classic!!!
It's Phenomenal.
You Ladies are Funny as Hell, this was a Fantastic Reaction!!!
You can watch Part 3 it's still fun and they bring one character back (which is one of the funniest parts in the movie).
Watching these reactions, Achara and Kristen would make a very good buddy cop duo. 🤔
Brigitte Nielsen is 6’1 irl.
she looks taller, dwarfed Arnold too in red sonja
Nice to see Tony Scott get a mention, he was the best. I don't think this movie is quite as nuanced, novel or smart as the first one, but the entertainment value is off the charts. Fantastic sequel.
God this was so much fun watching this with you two.
Just listing to you two and your comments and banter was fucken hilarious.
Loved it...... Loved it so much.😍😍😍😍😍
You left out the part when he saw the guy with the truckload of cigarettes. 😂😅 That part was awesome.
Thanks for reacting to this! I watched it for the first time last night on Netflix while eating 🍕 🍕 with lobster mac and cheese and frozen margarita. Great sequel🎬📽🔥🔥
Bridgette Nielson might not be a great Actress, but somehow Tony Scott made her work in this. R.i.P. to the stylist Director ever
Tony knew how to make anything look awesome on camera!!! RIP indeed
BHC 1 & 2 are up their with my favourite movies. Had to get the soundtracks as well as I love the music.
In the YT reaction Bogermill gets shot and you never see him again.
You ladies have an excellent taste and choice by enjoying the classic comedy. 😂 Best movie of the series in my opinion 😂
Hi girls, I recommend 48hrs, part 1 and 2. I think you gonna love it !
yes, its so underrated now in this age.
This is random, but the actor who played Chief Lutz, the late Allen Garfield, played a similarly ill-tempered movie producer on an episode of _The West Wing,_ but he also played a hilariously drunk and addled boxing commentator who calls himself “The Cut Man” on an episode of _Sports Night_ (I guess Aaron Sorkin was a fan).
Our baddie 'Max' is also the Captain of a German U-Boat in my pick for best ever war movie. Das Boot (Director's Cut of the movie is my favourite but I recently got the full miniseries version on BluRay.... Haven't watched it just yet.). Strongly recommend a watch in German if you do, but there is also a great English dub by the original German actors. Jürgen Prochnow, great actor, although the 'big bitch' is certainly the first villain I remember when I recall this movie.
I probably only elevate it to 'best' because I've got something of a fascination with submarines, great movie regardless. And of course not to be confused with the modern remake.
The U-Boat replica they built for Das Boot was also borrowed by Spielberg and used in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Both movies were filming at the La Rochelle U-boat pens around the same time.
48 Hours is another classic Eddie Murphy buddy 'cop' action dramedy. I put 'cop' in quotes because.... well you'd have to watch the movie I guess.
Somebody needs to watch Beverly Hills Ninja, starring Chris Farley.
I loved Chris Farley!
Chris Rock got his first bit role in this film when Eddie got him that part, so it's no 'cameo', per se. Then he was given a small but hilarious part by Keenan Ivory Wayans in I'M GONNA GIT YOU, SUCKA (1988), which you should react to! You'd also love 2 DAYS IN THE VALLEY (1995) with an ensemble cast in an edgy dark thriller.
I've always loved the soundtrack of both movies 😊
The tall blonde was in Rocky IV playing Drago's wife and at the time of this film she was with Stallone.
Great reaction. You two together are super fun!
