Omg thanks for responding to my comment/request! It was really cool to hear a youtuber say my name not gonna lie 😎 I have an interview coming up Wednesday and I’m feeling good after this! Thanks Dom 💫🌟
Just recently came across your page! I love the vibes you give & all the wealth of information you have! Can you tell us what the Masters in ABA was like?? What was the most challenging part? Were you able to work while taking your grad classes? I was previously an Intervention Specialist but am switching to becoming an RBT so I can work towards BCBA! Applied to grad school for Fall, and plan to take classes part time while keeping full time job. I’m very anxious about it! Haha 😆 So I’m trying to learn & prepare as much as possible. Also, can you explain some other potential career choices with a Masters in ABA?? Love your page!! Thank you :)
My maters program was at the Chicago school of professional psychology (in -person). It was a great program, but there is A LOT of work involved. The most challenging part is like you'er learning a new language. But once you understand the terms, then you have to learn how to apply it in your natural environment or with your clients. You should get more practice during your supervision.
Heeey girl heeeyyy!! This video was extremely helpful as I am looking to applying for some new jobs soon! I will definitely look into those keywords so I can speak as effortlessly as you did! Always excited to see your new content! Have a beautiful weekend!!! ⭐️
Gear advice, thanks for sharing. Just finished my hours in December. 🙌🏿I’m taking SNABA collective right now but still struggling with all this info lol. Gonna send my application in next week Hopefully it’s approved quickly lol
Hey EmpressNatiLocs! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching! Congratulations on finishing your hours. How exciting. Please keep us posted WHEN you pass your exam. You got this! ❤️🧡💛
I so look forward to your uploads! Congratulations on 1,000 subbies!!!! I am waiting to be Approved to sit 😊 I would love to hear your thoughts in paid testing Resources versus the free resources out there. I am currently studying but not sure as to what to really do (if anything) other than take mock exams, read Cooper and my Ethics book. Thank you in advance.
Hey Erica! Thanks for watching and subscribing! I’ve learned that the more you invest in your ABA career the easiest it is to sustain it. So personally, I would purchase a testing resource that has higher passing rates. Some even have money back contingency plans if you don’t pass. Not saying you won’t pass w/o it.... but if you want more structure to your study habits, you may want to make the investment. I used the BDS Modules.
Thank you for the helpful video! When I started following you I was a couple semesters away from graduating and now I am 3 weeks away from graduating! Your videos are very helpful and put me at ease since this program has been very stressful! I saw you had an opportunity at a university, can a Master's level BCBA work at a university? I been curious about this. Thank you!
Thanks for your video. BCaBA courses now, and will be finished in August. “Don’t chase the money train.” However, I may want to get involved in geriatrics. Any help? Thanks for all you’ve done.
@@domthebcbamom6679 no. But I would like to get involved in that industry. I think every person hits a (invisible) glass ceiling when working with children. I would like to prepare myself for it, since I know that the burnout is real.
Hi, I have been looking into the ABA field specifically the BCaBA role. Where are you taking your course? Why did you choose the program? Do you like it so far? Thank you for answering my questions 😊
@@amandawest4616 Hello. Thanks for your question. Currently taking courses through ball state university online program. Four classes if you already have a bachelors degree. Supervision hours are also needed. Love the field, however, there is ALWAYS more, and a unique path. It just has to be discovered. Many blessings and best of luck on your venture. Also, I chose this program because it was it was comparable to my degree already and inexpensive.
I just passed the BCBA exam December 2021 and it’s April 2022 right now and I’m still not employed. I am frozen! I don’t know what company to work with, what salary to go with or what benefits to go for it w2 or 1099!
Are you unemployed by choice or because companies aren’t hiring you? If you’re not in a hurry, take your time and do your research. This field isn’t going anywhere and salary rates will only increase

My employer runs our background check annually throughout employment! I understand that it’s invasive, but we are expected to be upstanding citizens.
Yep, we are set apart. “They not like us”
