    You can use sticky film or a filter to change to color of the vacuum displays

      @O4L. I’m not sure.. I’ve seen a video where a guy traced the contact back a little bit and scratched off the coating and made a jumper back to the contact. Seemed easy enough but I’m not very good at all that stuff lol

      I made a video on it! All I did was cut the back completely flat and then dremmeled out the middle so that metal sleeve could fit!

    Look up gel filters for lights n use red or pink gel film to make it white

    How did you make your check engine, or any other warning lights perfectly blue?
    I tried this on my older silverado but with white led bulbs and it gives it this weird light green with light yellow since theres an amber film on the warning light, which makes it a weird color

    Hello. How do you make the gear selection brighter. Everything else is nice and bright but not where you can see if you're in P R N D. Thank you

      There are little chips on the mother board you have to fix the solder points. There are a couple really good videos that show exactly which ones!

    Hey quick question 😂 ik I’ve already commented but for the needles do you need to replace a bulb to make the blue on it glow or will the strip do the trick ?

      The strip will do it! Just have to make sure it goes all the way around the housing!

      @bretchandler7754 I replaced all the bulbs just for a couple to go out again a couple months later and the light output was splotchy but now the light out put is super smooth and I’m hoping I get a little more life out of the strip!

      That seems like a lot of work plus I’m not sure if they make aftermarket screens compatible with these clusters..

    So did you remove the blue leds or what is in the place of the old blue leds?

      I removed them all and replaced them with this strip! It’s soldered into one of the old light pads!

    How did you do the bottom screen of the cluster that color?

      Yeah the white face cluster cover has that built in blue strip at the bottom making the odometer blue as well. Where the black one does not, still looks amazing definitely doing this to mine.

      Thanks!! And Yea the new one I bought is completely clear so the screen is the bare stock color. My old one had a bluish tint because like you said it had the cover over the screen tinted.

      @@ZPTVChannel if the face has a green tint you can use 1000 grit sandpaper and make it clear and use lighting gels to change the color. if you want to make your warning lights, turn signals, and cruise light blue the on the ones with green tint on the face you can sand off the tint with the same stuff as well

    Will this work on a 2002 Chevy avalanche?

      The 2002 clusters are different so I’m not sure if it will work the same or not..

      I just pulled off the old led and soldered in a t10 blue led!

    Did you cut the end of the led strip it’s 16ft?

      Yes! The strip has designated cut points so you don’t have to use the whole thing. Plus the rest of the strip is still usable for the future!

    I did it how you did it I got the same lights and connected to the trans temp but my lights don’t seem to be as light as yours . Any help?

      The only thing I can think of is either the dimmer switch isn’t up all the way or maybe the company started using dimmer leds. These ones are too bright in my opinion I have to dim them down lol

      @@ZPTVChannel I was playing with my dimmer switch and it does dim them up and down. But it could be that the leds aren’t as strong anymore

    Where do I solder the led strip wires on the motherboard?

      I chose the trans temp light points but you can solder them to really any of the points where the original lights solder to!

      There was one pad in my cluster that wasn’t getting power anymore. I would try another one and see what that does. If that doesn’t work try another light to see if the cluster is working

      The same way you would solder in new leds! They are just a little smaller than the main lights but get soldered in the same way!
