- Day 4 of my backpacking Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
This is a day of STAIRS. And they're all really steep, big steps! But it's another scenic hike, with views along the water and stretches through the woods with the sunlight filtering through.
We take a short break at Beaver Creek to refill our water. We also stop to look at the rusty, antique Plymouth car that sits along the trail.
We stay at Sevenmile campground, very close to Sevenmile Creek, where we are able to watch our clothes and ourselves. It is day 4 after all!
Sevenmile Campground at Pictured Rocks has easy beach access, which we took advantage of to watch another gorgeous sunset.
I'm backpacking with a group of friends, doing the entire trail through the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan's Upper Peninsula (known as the U.P.). We start at Munising Falls Visitor Center and spend 6 days hiking the 42-ish miles to Grand Sable Visitor Center.

Thanks for all the video! i know this is hard to do but you nail it in your videos.
IMO 7 mile beach is the hardest part of this hike.
