Teen Titans a show about Super Heroes ended and was replaced by Ben Ten a show about a super hero The new show did nothing the old one didn't do. Aladin ended nicely with king of thieves Kim Possible ended with her movies Basically every other show as a kid Had a movie to bring it to a proper end over stayed there welcome, jumped the shark and made me stop caring or was replaced by an identical show that had the same plot and there for they could have just kept the old show. Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Freakazoid, Histeria! were all the SAME show and they could have just continued Tiny Toons for the same price and effort. The cartoons today do some thing new, they tell a story that has a beginning, middle and end so you actually want to see how it ends they also run 8 episode seasons when the 80s use to run 13, 24 or 100 episode seasons and they have more focus on life, death, shipping, relationships, character development. Old shows would have never had redemption arcs, romances, people learning lessons, call backs, continuity Status Quo Is God . All changes in an episode had to be undone at the end. Episodes had to air in any mixed up order. You only had the 1st week of the season and the last week of the season to tell a 5 part epic story. Sonic was my next example after ALF of a story ending and not giving me more when I wanted it. Ever since that ending I REFUSE to watch ANY sonic cartoon that does NOT have Princess Sally , Snively and Jim Cummings if I don't see that exact 3 I do NOT accept your Sonic as MY Sonic. I do not support it , I do not play it I do not give it the time of day. Screw Amy, Screw Sonic Youth, Screw Egg Man Screw Knuckles Screw Super Sonic Give me Uncle Chuck , Bunnie D'Coolette, Rotor , Tails, Antoine, Sally THAT is MY team Mario on the other hand knew how to evolve. Captain Toad , Toadette, Gino, Rosalina, Booster are awesome. But Like Screw Waluigi , Kamek, and Oogtar like freaking load Oogtar in a Bill launcher and blast him in to space. Oogtar is the WORST Nintendo character ever in any thing worse then Militron, Militron is awesome. Captain N, while I am at it squandered potential they COULD have upgraded his gear to SNES gear and made him Super Captain N then Upgraded him again to Captain N64 and then upgraded him again to Captain Cube and by the time of Captain Wii he would just be some ticked off cranky Boomer yelling at his successor. Captain Wii voiced by Kevin Conroy Captain Wii U voiced by Will Friedle but Nintendo lacked vision. Gargoyles had and end. An End undone by the immediate reboot which confused me on what its new end and new direction was.
Thank you for your brief review, glad to see someone else passionate about this topic, you brought back so many memories to me just now , fraggle rock was my shit !
This was such a good look at some of the many, many cancelled animated shows over the past several years. I haven't watched all the ones you mentioned but I definitely enjoyed Inside Job, Infinity Train, and Dead End: Paranormal Park (sidebar: how DARE you not like Courtney lmao. She's my favorite character in the show). I tried watching one episode of Midnight Gospel but I couldn't get into it but maybe I'll give it another shot. And I'd never even heard of Elliot From Earth but it sounds very interesting and I might want to check it out! It's such a shame that these shows get cancelled without even a chance to conclude in the ways their creators want, and it also sucks that they get cancelled so early too, with some only getting one season (though split into two to pretend it's two seasons, like with Dead End: Paranormal Park or Inside Job). Animation gets treated so unfairly. Anyway, I really dug this video. You now have a new subscriber. 👍
There's also Final Space, 3 seasons, great humor, an amazing voice cast, a compelling storyline, a cliffhanger with the true final boss appearing, and all of it was dropped right in the trash. At least the Final Chapter book is about to come out which should hopefully give the story its end.
There hasn't been a cartoon or even a show that has made me more emotional than season 3 of Infinity Train did. The rest of the show was just as great and I hate that they cancelled it right before their likely most interesting season yet. We need justice for all these amazing shows being cancelled.
You forgot about Pantheon. I’ve been spreading the word to everyone about it. It’s such an amazing sci-fi animated series, and my favorite TV show of all time!
I absolutely HATE the fact that at this point, companies(Netflix, Cartoon Network, etc) will look at something like a TV show and instead of looking at it's potential, they only look at it's profit. Like I get that stuff like an animated TV show is expensive, like REALLY expensive, but you shouldn't just look at the first season and be like "eh not good enough" and then cancel with barely any warning?? One example I have of this is what Cartoon Network did to Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart. I LOVE that show and it always pisses me off that the fact that it was actually one of the first TV shows that Cartoon Network cancelled at it's first season. And when they did that, they THEN tried to act like they never even aired by taking it off the website(videos of it, games, etc) and even privating it's TH-cam videos of it(though they did unprivate the YT vids thankfully). You used to be able to watch on HBO Max, but then it was one of the shows that got removed, so now it is VERY hard to come by. Unless you buy it off of TH-cam or Amazon, you can't really watch it. Another thing is that Cartoon Network originally said it would have a second season and also had a TEASER for it. The show had a lot of potential too, and you could tell that was a subtle plot point that could've really been addressed in the next season. Even the creator, Parker Simmons, on one of his streams said that it could've been. It is a TV show that was and still is very important to me since it affected a lot of things for me, one of them being my art journey because of much I'd draw Mao Mao and other characters. One of my first self-inserts I ever made was for that show. Also, I'm not the only one who feels the same way about the show. I used to think that there weren't that many fans of MMHOPH, but when I see any content that Parker made about it or a fan made that ended getting popular, I see a crap ton of comments like, "I love/loved this show", "this show deserved better, "#freemaomao", "OMG MAO MAO ON MY RECOMMEND YAY", etc. I don't know, every time I think about what could've happened if it got more seasons I get sad about it and also very pissed at CN. Anyway those are my thoughts about it. I'd put more, but uh, I think I ranted enough😭
You should talk about the show Pantheon. Its a sci-fi show about uploading your brain into a computer. Its one of the best shows I have ever watched, with deep, philosophical themes. This show was done dirty. Season 1 was first released on a streaming site few people knew about, called AMC+ in 2022. Originally they only let out season 1 and I think they planned to pull a Batgirl and not release season 2 despite it being done. However, Amazon picked up the show and released both seasons but you can only legally watch it in Australia and New Zealand. That country restriction combined with zero advertising means that almost no one has scene season 2. Its killing me cause I love this show that nobody talks about. Other good shows that got ended early: -Spectacular Spider-man: cut classic superhero show from 2000s. Got cancelled after Disney bought Marvel and the studios wanted to replace this great show with the sub-par Ultimate Spider-man -Twelve forever: good kids show with a lot of potential. Show canceled after creator was arrested for being a creep. -The Awesomes: funny adult comedy about superheroes that I remember ending on a cliff hanger. -The Hollow: a two season Netflix animated mystery/sci-fi series with an interesting premise and solid first season. -Little Demon: cool adult fantasy show that ended abruptly. I don't think that it has been announced as canceled but I am pessimistic it will be renewed. -Sym-Bionic Titan: a Cartoon Network cult classic made by the same guy who made Samurai jack and Primal. Interesting mix of cool sci-fi action and classic 80s teen movie style drama/comedy. -Supermansion: another funny adult superhero comedy. made by robot chicken
I loved Dead End, Norma & Barney are BEYOND relatable. Im a Transmasc individual myself and seeing the Main Character being trans is rare and so dignifying. This show has some great representation
You should of had a faq hbomax/Warner brothers counter too. They’re responsible for the other half of these! Thanks for giving these shows some more well deserved attention. We all know the companies that own them aren’t. Also I haven’t seen Dead End Paranormal Park but it looks super interesting to me as a neurodivergent maybe trans person lol.
Is that Made in abyss music I hear? Also fucking hell the quality put into this! How do you not have a million subscribers?? Amazing work! And amazing video!!!💜💜
Inside job is my hyper focus- this show is my life. I don’t think I will ever get over this. To me it was on par with ATLA and Steven Universe with world building and character building.
ok when you started the video i thought "man, yea that happened to me with teen titans", next thing ik you mention them...we can all say that we wished for more T-T
I know you probably missed this b/c you’re neurotypical, but Norma doesn’t just have anxiety. She’s also autistic, and as someone who’s autistic, it’s good to see a portrayal of autism that’s not just a cishet white dude with a stereotypical special interest, like trains. Furthermore, her autism isn’t patronized, and she’s portrayed as being sociable despite her disability.
I watched infinity train by watching reruns on the cartoon network channel (bc I have cable), bought season 3 on apple tv, and watched season 4 on demand (another thing from cable)
Yea when a show runs like 20 or 30 seasons but doesn't really have a solid plot it should be wrapped up. I'm ngl family guy or the simpsons has gotten really stale. Southpark at least keeps things relatively fresh with their humor. But the other two have kinda been lacking and needs to move forward.
It's not just cartoons that Netflix takes it's wrath out on. It can amazing live action shows too. Like daybreak, I'm not okay with this and Julie and the phantoms!
Fuck streaming services! I mean, if in the coming of the streaming age we got many amazing animated shows, today they get cancelled with no warning just because the view numbers didn't reach some obscure metric that no one knows, or worse, get cancelled due tax avoiding practices. As a adult that grew watching cartoons and keep watching them, it's very sad to think that many amazing shows like adventure time and regular show would, probably, not have been renewed after one or two seasons, since they were shows that had time to slowly grow and find their pace. To all the wonderful and talented people that made their living from this form of art.
Mine was worse, foxkids switched to jetix And i thought atleast i can watch the returns of Moville mysteries Only to be greeted by jetix replacing moville with Martin mystery on all the slots were it was supposed to be on Martin mystery was a terribly written show It did not compare how scary and grounded moville was

Aladin ended nicely with king of thieves
Kim Possible ended with her movies
Basically every other show as a kid
Had a movie to bring it to a proper end
over stayed there welcome, jumped the shark and made me stop caring
or was replaced by an identical show that had the same plot and there for they could have just kept the old show.
Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Freakazoid, Histeria! were all the SAME show and they could have just continued Tiny Toons for the same price and effort.
The cartoons today do some thing new, they tell a story that has a beginning, middle and end so you actually want to see how it ends
they also run 8 episode seasons when the 80s use to run 13, 24 or 100 episode seasons
and they have more focus on life, death, shipping, relationships, character development.
Screw Amy, Screw Sonic Youth, Screw Egg Man Screw Knuckles Screw Super Sonic Give me Uncle Chuck , Bunnie D'Coolette, Rotor , Tails, Antoine, Sally THAT is MY team
Mario on the other hand knew how to evolve. Captain Toad , Toadette, Gino, Rosalina, Booster are awesome. But Like Screw
Waluigi , Kamek, and Oogtar like freaking load Oogtar in a Bill launcher and blast him in to space.
DAMN
There have been far too many canceled shows here that it just hurts.
THE ANINATED SEGMENT FROM THE START WAS AMAZINGGG
Also I miss Infinity Train, it didnt deserved to be cancelled 😭
There's also Final Space, 3 seasons, great humor, an amazing voice cast, a compelling storyline, a cliffhanger with the true final boss appearing, and all of it was dropped right in the trash.
At least the Final Chapter book is about to come out which should hopefully give the story its end.
At least The owl house got to finish theses shows didn't even get that
There some hope out there for dead end, thanks to comic books, we are actually going to get ending, in April, I already preordered it I can't wait!
I would love to hear you talk about Rise of the Tmnt too!! It was a great show 😢
There hasn't been a cartoon or even a show that has made me more emotional than season 3 of Infinity Train did.
100% watching all of these (that I haven’t seen already)
Man why is it that all the best shows seem to get canceled prematurely. I think Infinity Train and Dead End hurt me the most.
Other good shows that got ended early:
-Spectacular Spider-man: cut classic superhero show from 2000s. Got cancelled after Disney bought Marvel and the studios wanted to replace this great show with the sub-par Ultimate Spider-man
-Twelve forever: good kids show with a lot of potential.
Inside job, rise of tmnt, dead end paranormal park should not have been canceled!😭😭
Finnaly youve made something (another banger absouloutley)
can you talk about pantheon AMC+ show?
season 1 is out everywhere but you can't watch it outside of australia and new zealand
Oh boy! Another good cartoon got cancelled! Time for 26 more seasons of big mouth!!
I loved Dead End, Norma & Barney are BEYOND relatable. Im a Transmasc individual myself and seeing the Main Character being trans is rare and so dignifying. This show has some great representation
I used to sit down with my sister every Saturday morning to watch sonic x together. I fondly remember these moments we spent together.
Here before this stuff blows up
👇
Is that Made in abyss music I hear?
Also fucking hell the quality put into this! How do you not have a million subscribers?? Amazing work! And amazing video!!!💜💜
Wow, I gotta check out Paranormal Park.
infinity train mentioned
could bill Cipher be connected to the black robes because both of them have the same shape head and knowledge of everything
The last episode of The Midnight Gospel was so gut-renchingly beautiful.
ayo new subject juice just dropped!!!
The midnight gospel was criminal
It was a beautiful show and I wish it got more episodes
In the infinity Train the cat is literally just a cat if she wore clothes and talked
Courtney is a gem
Inside job is my hyper focus- this show is my life. I don’t think I will ever get over this. To me it was on par with ATLA and Steven Universe with world building and character building.
Happened to me with Apple and Onion, Clarence, Wander Over Yonder, and Tuca and Bertie 😔
Tuca and berite killed me twice! First with Netflix and then I had so much hope when i saw it was on hbo max and then it got scrapped again
Infinity Train's cat has a name! It's Samantha!
thank you subsequent juice
Honestly fuck these companies deleting and canceling absolutely everything
Midnight gospel needs to come back
And now I'm subbed
ok when you started the video i thought "man, yea that happened to me with teen titans", next thing ik you mention them...we can all say that we wished for more T-T
Let's Go!!!!!
THE GOAT IS BACK!!!!
glad to be back as always aha
@@SubjectJuice Aha :)
I will never forget they cancelled close enough and final space and pantheon
Why do corporate executives always have to take away the things I love
I know you probably missed this b/c you’re neurotypical, but Norma doesn’t just have anxiety.
She’s also autistic, and as someone who’s autistic, it’s good to see a portrayal of autism that’s not just a cishet white dude with a stereotypical special interest, like trains. Furthermore, her autism isn’t patronized, and she’s portrayed as being sociable despite her disability.
I watched infinity train by watching reruns on the cartoon network channel (bc I have cable), bought season 3 on apple tv, and watched season 4 on demand (another thing from cable)
They just never let shows cook
Infinity train has been on vudu for over a year im pretty sure thats a legal way to support the show
Oh he kinda mentioned it 😂
My favorite adult cartoon got cancelled pantheon but it was actually bought by Amazon and season 2 was released
"sometimes they don't stick the landing" *proceeds to nearly choke laughing at the example given
Duncanville could've been another family guy and probably would've replaced it or Bob's Burgers. That's why Fox kept sabotaging the show's schedule.
ALL of Infinity Train is on Max (HBO) now
I WILL NEVER FORGET WHEN THEY CANCELLED RISE OF THE TMNT.
i miss dead end. .m.
Me too! ❤ Great show
Personally, I didn't like the Midnight Gospel. I watched with some friends and we didn't really like the podcast aspect.
I NEED DEAD END BACK PLEAEE I NEED IT RENEWED PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I NEED GOOD TRANS REP SMD GOOD AUTISTIC REP PLEASSEEE
Season 2 of Infinity Train was my favorite season. Lake is an Icon
Wait the gospel show was where the whole mother thing came from that what introduced me to that pod cast
Oh, you love cancelled cartoons, eh?
Okay then, we'll cancel more of them.
I watched all of infinity train on what was hbo max
Woulf you mind sharing the song at 20:51 - 20:59? I really love the melody and nothing in the description mentions the songs at all.
I should probably update that lol, the song is ‘Mr.Maker - Vol.1 Demo (DreamCast)’
@@SubjectJuice Thank you!
Remember the thundercats remake, or symbiotic titans. Those were some older ones i wish they didnt cancel
watching the park one and already cried like 20 times and nothing sad even happened.
beautiful video,, FUCK NETFLIX
Mine was worse, foxkids switched to jetix
And i thought atleast i can watch the returns of Moville mysteries
Only to be greeted by jetix replacing moville with Martin mystery on all the slots were it was supposed to be on
Martin mystery was a terribly written show
It did not compare how scary and grounded moville was
I NEED INFINITY TRAIN TO BE RE NEWED PLEASE PLEAEE PLEASE I NEED IT PLEASE
Need an infinity train video the cancellation of that show haunts me to this day
Good morning/ afternoon Guardian
yo this video is doing really good (please maek the owl house finale video)
Does anyone know the song that is playing in the background in the infinity train section? I want to say it's from Clannad but I can't find which part of the OST
It’s ‘the first layer’ OST from Made In abyss aha
@@SubjectJuice Welp, at least I know I heard it somewhere XD Thank you! It is pretty similar to some of the tracks in Clannad's OST which is why I got it mixed up.
