This was the only Bratz movie I watched when I was younger besides the weird one about the potato aliens, and it was TERRIFYING, especially the monsters. I literally had nightmares for weeks after watching it. Thanks for bringing it back into my life.
bratz super babyz!! i used to watch these to movies over and over, the potato alien baby scared me so bad that i considered it on par with the sleepover horror.
Why did I just realize that Sasha’s mirror story is basically the plot of Us? 😭😭 Edit: The talking dog was the funniest part of this movie because why was he such a jerk for no reason? 💀
this movie didn't "scare" me however the scene in Megan's story where she goes on the water ride & it just repeats gave me a effing anxiety attack when i was little bc it felt like it was repeating FOREVER
Context for Meygan: She was actually the first character Bratz added after the main 4 in 2002, and she's been big part of the brand since. Alot of non-collectors and more casual Bratz fans mightn't know her because her and alot of the other Bratz friends like Dana, Phoebe and Nevra barely if ever got to appear in the movies and tv show
I was so fuckin confused thanks for that! I was an avid Bratz collector when I was a kid and seeing a 5th member when I thought there was always 4 jumpscared me lol.
Meygan's story was TOP TIER !! I know everyone says Jade's story was the scariest, but Meygan's terrified me as a kid! Imagine being the only living person left in the world (or at least it seems that way), and yet you're being followed by an ominous presence. You can't see this figure, but you know it's getting closer. The magician guy said it was an "ancient magic land" as well - WHO KNOWS what was following that girl. 😭 This was truly a terrifying concept for young me to handle. 😭
I literally always, ALWAYS, remember being so unsettled by the monsters and only the monsters because they creeped the fuck out of me because of how uncanny they looked i think and how i thought they would come and get me or some shit 😭💀
(warning kinda graphic) I have a theory that the girls were dead the whole time but they didn’t know and the stories they were telling were how they died but they don’t know that they’re dead so the stories were made up in their heads and they remember it playing out differently like Sasha was trapped forever and died, Cloe got to the woman’s house and the woman murdered her so she thought of the story of the dog to escape through her mind, Meygan was killed by the man in the clown costume, Yasmin was so riddled with guilt from buying herself the bracelet, when she was walking back to her mom she wasn’t paying attention and she got hit by a car or when she tried to throw the bracelet into the river, she fell in and drowned, and Jade went on the roller coaster and never came out like the story said because she died on it and the monsters were her killers chasing her the whole time and when she came out, it was the killers taking her body out. then at the end, they found out they were dead all along and that’s when their stories started coming to life and Ginger and her family were kind of there to guide them to the afterlife. Not sure about the monster part at the end though. Maybe it’s them accepting they’re dead? Idk. If you have an idea lmk!
At my first sleepover, I brought this movie. It was like a birthday party sleepover so it was a bunch of kids. All of us were shaking in our boots. She lived out in the country. So after, some of the girls were looking out the door saying that they saw one of those monsters in the yard far away.. I was terrified
why does this sound kinda well written though like its actually scary. if i had seen this film when i was younger i would have been so traumatized omg.
I think my brain locked this away because I didn’t recognize this movie at first but after watching this I can’t believe how much i remembered from this movie.
I was terrified by this movie. Not like it’s scary, but was so scary weird? that it gave me more nightmares than when I accidentally saw parts of scary movies or read creepypastas and stuff. The monster and pie stories for whatever reason I hated the most. Those monster things and the ending where she hides the tail. The weird surreal carnival world. I’m almost 20 and still have dreams of this movie. Crazy
Ah yes the Bratz film that DEFINED HORROR AS A GENRE. Seriously the segment with their eyes glowing in the ride lives rent free in my head from how much it spooked me.
the one where she goes to the fair and is all alone was terrifying as a child. The horror of being all alone in an area that is as once lively.. feels so isolating and creepy.
This movie absolutely scared me as a kid. I first watched it when I was like three and I was traumatized ever since. By far the scariest story to me was jade's story because those monsters were literally trying to KILL her and they're also former versions of her BEST FRIENDS. I interpret the movie itself being Ginger's story she tells the girls, a summary of what happened during the sleepover but with her own ending. It gives me peace thinking of it that way.
I was absolutely petrified by this movie as a child. I only ever watched it once because I couldn't finish it but I was crying and screaming and covering my eyes the whole way through but I was too young to reach the DVD player and my mom couldn't hear me yelling for her. I went to bed that night with nightmares, genuinely I wouldn't be surprised if that was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life
This movie must have absolutely traumatised me as a kid because I clicked on this video thinking “that’s odd I was super obsessed with bratz and I’ve never seen this before”. All through the video I’m thinking I’ve definitely never seen it and then at Sashas story I remembered I HAVE seen it and I was TERRIFIED of that bracelet, I used to have nightmares where the bracelet would appear and I couldn’t get rid of it and I even threw one of my own bracelets out my window to see if it would come back (it didn’t lol). I can’t believe I forgot about this when it’s so weird and scary, I probably blocked it out to protect myself 😭
Thank you SO MUCH for talking about this movie- it _traumatized_ me as a kid. Sasha’s scary story still has me looking twice at mirrors every now and then 😭
This movie used to scare tf out of me but I literally kept watching it. This movie formed who I was. This movie got me through my trauma. This movie is gold. This movie impacted every single decision I've ever made in my life. Thank you so much for making this. This is getting me through the next stage in my life.
I’m so glad someone’s talking about this traumatizing movie 😭 I was a scaredy cat as a kid & just assumed this would be a normal cute Bratz movie and it was literally HORRIFYING
meygan was always my favorite bratz girl, solely because the only bratz doll i ever had was totally tattooed meygan. she’s supposed to one of their friends but she’s barely in any media
OH MY GODDDD this lives in my head rent free, Sasha's story always freaked me the fuck out as a kid. Edit: can you fucking believe Bratz accidentally predicted Us holy shit
Byeeeee this whole movie was so scary for no reason, especially Sasha’s story and the way her doppelgänger’s laugh would repeat and also Megan’s story was scary bc she was all alone and that huge clown face was laughing. Anyway this movie was genuinely so good though
I remember finding this so scary as a kid but I was still oddly into it, I remember I’d use chapter select and watch the stories one at a time or something like that to make it less intense. Pretty sure this was my first bratz movie or at the very least it was the one that left the biggest impression on me
Never remembered ANYTHING from this movie, but I constantly remembered that entire ray of mirror scenes with the clone. That shit scared me so much istg
why are all the scariest things we've seen as kids in movie/show scenes of scary stories. like the scary stories from regular show messed me up a little bit when i first saw them. im still scared of the bowling alley ball return
I’m not even joking I completely forgot about this movie and blocked it out from my brain that when I saw this video all the memories came flooding back and I’m now in a cold sweat. It had no business being THIS disturbing 😭😭😭
Ngl, haven’t seen this since I was like 10 (I’m 24 now) but I genuinely feel like this would creep me out way more now because I actually understand the implications of what’s going on
Holy shit yes the music from this movie was BURNED into my mind for years and it always scared the shit out of me and I loved getting scared the shit out of watching this movie
This movie was wild, especially Jade's story with those monsters, I know they're goofy but as a child those things terrified me. AND I can't believe they really made Ginger dead the entire time like what is that Bratz 😭🤣 (sorry spoilers) lmao
I remember watching this movie when I was 10 with my two younger sisters while we were home alone. Jade's story terrified us so much that we locked ourselves in my mom's room until she got home.
Watching this you literally unlocked my memory about the "Bratz super babyz" movie and now I need you to make a video about that movie because I vividly remember how terrified I was the first time I saw it😭✋.. loved the video btw
I haven't heard this movie be talked about by anyone for so long! This was one of the movies that got me into horror when I was kid! I would beg to watch this movie every day after I got it for my eighth birthday, it was my favorite
To be honest, I was just so confused by the ending that the rest of the movie didn't matter anymore when I was a kid. I was expecting the usual "It was all a dream."
oh man old bratz media just had this VIBE, i remember several animated films and shows but not this one- and yet it’s the same vibes, unnecessarily scary, and like a cousin to old barbie 3d animation.
I was particularly scared of the first story with the mirrors as a kid. There are two parts that I remember but you didn't mention, and now I am questioning my own memory. Regardless, I remember one of the things that the doppelganger from the mirror did was be rude to Sasha's friends, making them hate the real her, thinking she was mean. The idea of someone else ruining my relationships with my loved ones and hurting them with my image is terrifying. The second thing was how Sasha got pulled into the mirror at the end. I remember there being a whole group of her reflections who came out of the mirrors to drag her inside. Not only does that mean you are dealing with more strength so it's harder to escape, it also implies that there are more reflections of you, and they all want to torture you in the mirror world forever. Maybe that's just my memory changing things to explain why I was, and still somewhat am, scared of mirrors.
OMG!! This was such a throwback. I loved this when I was younger. I should find a way to rewatch this now. For some reason I LOVED children’s media that had a touch of scary aspects to it. This, Courage the Cowardly dog, Winnie the Pooh’s “Heffalump Halloween movie”, and Scooby Doo movies were def my springboard to liking horror. Thanks for this ❤
Used to watch this as a kid, and was unscathed by its nightmare fuel. Both my sister and I reenacted the Chloe's story with our dolls. But Bratz Kids Sleepover Adventure seemed more like a Halloween movie despite being a 'sleepover episode' from the start. Sasha, Meghan, and Jade's stories are the most unsettling, the soundtrack is unironically good, and the animation akin to the Bratz cartoon from 4Kids is on-par with an episode of Xavier Renegade Angel. Sure, the Sasha clone and Clown are quite terrifying, but the Monsters look like King K. Rool and Jabba The Hutt if they're designed by a crackhead. Their run-cycles are unintentionally hilarious imo; who the hell thought their running animations were good enough to be "scary" for the DTV franchise's primary demographic? Also, the conclusion of Jade's story kinda reminded me of the Thriller music video's ending, except without Vincent Price's badass evil laugh. 😂 Still, the opening and ending of the movie(the latter of which is some End of Evangelion levels of shit) truly made us viewers realize that strange things do happen on a full moon. You won't predict when bizarre occurences come and go while the moon's pale light gleamed, but you'll have to deal with this paraphernalia until it's over.
Thanks for reminding me of this. My sister wanted to watch them as babies, I wanted to watch them as teens, Mom put this on. Thanks, Mom. " I'm so excited! My first sleepover! " I swear I just got war flashbacks.
This made me realize where a lot of my childhood fears came from😭 I was so scared of rides as a kid and I thought that both of the stories about rides had just been nightmares I had????
megan's story traumatized me so badly OH MY GOD 😭 jade's definitely scared me but megan.. that one legitimately gave me nightmares. i also remember being soo upset as a kid with how mean they were to ginger LOL
Boo
*ohhhhh bratz*
I loved the “OOOOOOHHH BRATZ”
@@melodynicole I CANNOT-🤣
This movie WAS HORRIFYING when I was little. They had no reason to make it so unsettling.
I’ve watched this movie so many times when I was a kid, I could still recite the entire movie off the top of my head.
I loved this movie when I was little it’s perfect
Exactly I couldn’t sleep bc wth was that 😂😂😂

@@Babybugg23 omg this scared meeee
Jordan Peele ripped off Sasha’s story for us and she deserves compensation or something
exactly what i said!!!
Glad I’m not crazy for thinking that, love Us tho
LMFAO I thought abt this when watched Us for the first time
been saying this for YEARSSS
I KNEW THIS REMINDED ME OF US
If you think about it, Shasha, scary story it’s basically the movie US
THAT’S WHAT IVE ALWAYS THOUGHT
I’m convinced Jordan Peel saw this movie and basically got so traumatized by it, he turned Sasha’s story into Us
Like even down to the twist. The whole doppelgänger is still living the life of the original thing…
I bet us was inspired by the story

I was so obsessed with this movie as a kid. Especially Sasha’s doppelgänger story.
Me too I love scary stuff ever since I was a kid
Sasha’s story definitely inspired the movie, “Us”.
you can’t be serious😭 Us is based off a twilight zone episode from like the 60s. this concept has been around way before this bratz movie
@ oh. I honestly never watched that TZ episode so I never knew until now.
