Ncuti Gatwa is the doctor, he is NOT a copy, he is NOT a distant future version. 14 regenerated into 15, SIMPLE, but also split in two, leaving the previous doctor. It is essentially two split timelines coexisting, and the same goes for the tardis. The tardis is NOT a copy, but split in two.
@@Chris-uu9meI never insinuated he was a copy. It’s what I said, he essentially is a premature birth of the Doctor. 14 will still regen into 15 and then, 15 will be pulled to this. Same with the TARDIS as explained in my thoughts Like how we don’t know when 12 saved Gallifrey

for me I think bigeneration works better than the timeless child did. The reason is because the timeless child is a poor attempt to retcon the Doctor's past where this is an addition for the Doctor's future that doesn't affect what has come before.

Ncuti was great. NPH was a lot of fun (albeit quite easily defeated in the end). I'm only lukewarm on the idea of 14 chilling with Donna. Feels a bit too much like 10b growing old with Rose Tyler in the parallel universe. And also like Clara getting her own TARDIS instead of just letting a character die. Moreover, the conversation about "rest" between 14 and 15 seems to forgot that *he spent 24 years on Darillium and **_hundreds_** of years on Trenzalore.* Granted, he was constantly holding off alien attacks on the latter, so that might not count, but my point is that he has occasionally stopped running. 9:41 Yeah, don't disrespect Rory like that!!

Also, I like your idea of how the Bi Generation worked, where the 14th Doctor was meant to live, so the 15th emerged from him as a way for the 14th to keep his face. And one day he will regenerate and appear at that point in time as the 15th Doctor. If that was the case, I like to think that the 14th Doctor was meant to live at that moment because that was a fixed point in time, and time pulled the 15th doctor from him time stream to that exact moment. And when the 14th regenerates he will disappear and reemerge where we just saw him. Although, I thought what they could do is have them merge back together at some point, before the 14th could regenerate (if he could), because if the 14th regenerates and he became someone else it will throw the order of Doctors way off and start to become confusing and complicated. And something I want to mention, I am pretty sure that before The Master (the one we are all familiar with, the renegade Time Lord and enemy/friend of the Doctor) character was created during the Third Doctor's era, there was another character called the Master in (I think) the second Doctor's era. I remember watching it once (I think he only appeared once), but I think he was like the Toy Maker and possibly had a connection to him. So, when he says he turned the Master into his gold tooth, I thought he was talking about the other Master. I tried to look this up but couldn't find if this was the case. I may have missed some of the dialogue (he likely was talking about The Master), but I thought that would be interesting to see. And that seen where an unknown person grabs the tooth is a direct reference to the ring that brought The Master back (so I am sure they're talking about The Master we all know).

RTD actually wrote the script as a very bad attempt at German accent. He explained that the Toy Maker is racist so is purposefully bad at accents as a way to mock people. He also had a bad French accent at one point.
@@AnatolSommer in all fairness I did just think NPH was terrible at the accent at first. It wasn't until I watched a few of the interviews after that it was explained. In DW unleashed they showed the script and it was written phonetically, then I think it was in the podcast or maybe it was still unleashed RTD explained the racist aspect of the original Toymaker and how he wanted to continue that to show how villainous he is.
I thought this was a great episode, I loved everyone's performances (especially Neil Patrick Harris's), and it was great getting more of David Tennant's Doctor (even if he is the 14th and not the 10th, technically). And seeing all of the references to past companions, moments, and nods from the classic (and modern) era is great. I am, however, conflicted and torn of how I felt about the ending and the regeneration scene (Bi generation). On one hand I am happy that David Tennant's Doctor isn't dead and is technically still out there (and he gets to see Donna and Mel again), and I am excited to see Ncuti Gatwa portrayal of the Doctor. On the other hand, it feels weird that there are two Doctor's and two Tardis's. I would like a little more explanation about how this works, are they both the Doctor? Is one of them a copy? Is one or both the case for the Tardis too, and what will happen when either of them regenerates again? Why did the 14th Doctor get the 10th's face, was it the Toy Maser's fault, or was it due to the Bi generation somehow? I don't know. And the Idea that there are two Doctors' out there is not something I like that much (not that it is bad, it is interesting, I would just prefer the Doctor to be one person at a time), and I know that technically there are always two out there because he is a time traveler, but this is different. Honestly, I would have had them make this temporary, but it can take hundreds or even thousands of years before that happens. And when it does, they have to merge back together, perhaps to face a threat they (for some reason) couldn't face apart. And didn't David Tennant technically leave with the original Tardis by the way, that is what it looked like. I just need a little time to adjust to this, I honestly do like this (and love the episode altogether), I just need to get used to this "kind of" change.
People Let me remind you that the 12th Doctor said that was walked in universes where the laws of physics were devised by the mind of a madman. Well as you know the bad guy for this specials Is the toymaker so all this happen because every were he Is became a gameboard and the TARDIS &The Doctor still be under the influence so is possible bend the rules, now the 15th said the bi-regeneration Is a myth and never happen before but i think that already happen at the 4th Doctor the watcher Was the doctor all the Time they be separated and at the moment that he back to be one the regeneration was triggered and complete. What do you think about that?
He was meant to regenerate he’s just regenerated and stayed the same person at the same time , 14 no longer can regenerate he will grow old but to a time lord age
I'm not entirely liking the idea of wiping the slate clean with this new doctor, doesnt feel like he is this entity that keeps going now theres two of him. Im really not sure i like this lol
Just saying donna who was a millionaire donated all her money 167 million to charity but also lost her job is now working for unit now for 120 pounds an hour 5 days a week with 40 hour work week than she makes $960 a day $38,400 a week along with $153,600 a month and finally in a year $1,842,200 and if you convert it to the American dollar it's $2,304,000 and this just before taxes damn.
That's not how wages work? Kate initially offered £60,000 a year, but Donna haggled it up to £120,000 a year. You don't calculate a salaried job by hourly wages. You do it in annual sums.
This episode was so rushed, the pacing was exactly like the Jodi era which is exactly what I hated about it. This episode didn't make sense to me. I hated Neil Patrick Harris' German accent. Not a good episode at all.
I disagree completely. The pacing was def fast and I think it could've been a two parter if they let some things breath. I think Neils accent was very much meant to be terrible. In the being the scenes stuff, RTD says it was to characterise his racism, which is also shown at the start when The Toymaker tells that guy 'You must be used to warmer climates'
Also, I am aware since uploading this RTD has made some comments in regards to explaining stuff (like the TARDIS) so certain comments may be out of date.

Maybe the doctor being from another universe he has the ability to bi generate.
You do it in annual sums.
hi
.
I hate it.
Unlucky 🤣
This episode was so rushed, the pacing was exactly like the Jodi era which is exactly what I hated about it. This episode didn't make sense to me. I hated Neil Patrick Harris' German accent. Not a good episode at all.
I disagree completely. The pacing was def fast and I think it could've been a two parter if they let some things breath. I think Neils accent was very much meant to be terrible. In the being the scenes stuff, RTD says it was to characterise his racism, which is also shown at the start when The Toymaker tells that guy 'You must be used to warmer climates'
