    Who's ready to build some built-ins?!

      Trying to gear myself up for a similar project. We're hoping to put in some built-ins in our dining room to gain some more functional (and pretty!) storage where we have an off-center window.

    That countertop edge! Those “fluted” glass panels (genius solution)! Ugh! This entire project is STUNNING!! 😍😍

    Jen the glasses is GENIUS!!! I love when you can think outside the box and make something that is expensive for an affordable amount. Plus, you CAN NOT tell it’s not the real thing!! Great job!!

    Thank you for this. I like the combination of off the shelf and fully fabricated components. The glass and door hardware are great touches. And I appreciate your frankness on some of the errors. If there's one thing that I've learned is that it can be just as rewarding if not more to overcome a mistake. If you hadn't mentioned them, I would have never noticed.

    I have several built-ins in my head, but have been intimated to try to build them. I'm excited to try now!

    This is absolutely gorgeous! I want the exact same thing in a nook, and I actually was going to buy the base cabinets from Home Depot as well. Then, o hadn’t figured out how to do shelves above, but your idea is perfect. I’m very tiny and live by myself, so this will have to be a project where I may have to call in reinforcements.
    Thank you for giving me the idea and confidence to pull this off!
    You are amazing!
    Do you have Amy ideas about how to build a pergola over a patio? I’d like to use vinyl because it’s lightweight, but I’m not sure. It would attach to a garage side and I already have 4 fence posts to use opposite the garage. I tore down a privacy fence around it hot tub because I couldn’t see the backyard. If you have any videos or can direct me, I’d appreciate it!
    Thank you!!!!

    Thank you so much for this! We are looking to do the exact same to the window in our house by the front door. We will not be setting ours on carpet because its an exterior wall on the slab.

    Great tutorial! I love the idea of reeded glass but hate the cost too. Can’t wait to check that option out for our kitchen cabinets!!
    Do you happen to have instructions for building a base for the bookshelves? I love the idea of buying but have built myself into a corner (almost) and need a dang weird size that I can’t seem to source any where. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
    Regardless, I can’t wait to see what you build next!

    Love this project so much, especially the glass “trick”! Did you make the bench cushion yourself?

    • @JenWoodhouse1
      @JenWoodhouse1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! No, I can't sew to save my life. I had the cushion custom-made by a seller on Etsy. I believe I linked it in the description.
