That Fallkniven G1 sure deserves a nice new handle in the dimensions and style of the old one that will fit the original sheath. I think that would be both honoring the knife and Wim. The Solingen meat cleaver is for professional use so more like butcher shop and professional kitchen but of course you can use it in the outdoors.

That cleaver will do all the tasks in a Chinese kitchen, especially for cleaving through bone and hard to cut pumpkin. That broad thick blade is really good for control when cutting massive vegetables. I use and rotate all my knives, from the Fallkniven Thor , Fallkniven MB, Cold steel trailmasters, srk..in all kinds of steels. So I can a pretty good idea the tasks a knife will excel at. Love your channel, so full of humor.

I have budget knives like schrade fixed blades that are awesome. I also own many steel will knives. All of them perform excellent and hold a great edge.

The CS Magnum Tanto looks like it comes with a Secure Ex sheath. Secure Ex sheaths usually have some form of abrasive compound in them that dulls the knife. You might want to get a sheath made for it to take advantage of that CMP 3v
