@@ModdingMK There's little to say, actually. Stick to the Canary Build of Xenia. And check to make sure if the game you're playing has a patch file. The Forza and Gears games all have their own patches that fix graphical issues.
So, I have tested Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor on Xenia Canary. I have played around 20 hours so far. The game is indeed playable with a few exceptions: 1. My biggest concern are the cutscenes that may be flickering and making them painful to watch if you are sensetive to such things. What's odd is that the same cutscenes can be properly played when I re-played some missions. So, I am not sure how it can be fixed. I tried setting vsync = true in th config file, but it doesn't seem to change anything. 2. The second major issus is that textures of ground and walls may not be fully loaded after switching between World Map/Sauron's Army menu and the actual game. 3. The third one is rare sound glitches that make some sounds absent at particular places. In my case, there was no ambient sound when looking through Sauron's Army. 4. Sometimes, progress and controls get broken when playing particular missions (e.g. Liberation or Weapon missions). Some UIX elements may also glitch, in my case the arrow count vanished at some point. 5. Fire Arrow skill may glitch making the arrow release window extermely small. 6. Sun flares are visible through walls/textures. 7. Some rare texture glitch covering the sky or ground making impossible to see through. Considering some randomness of these glitches (except for 2 and 6), the game is emualted good enough (7.5/10). Another annoying thing is that I need to wait for 5-8 seconds when switching between World Map/Sauron's Army Upgrades/Weapon Upgrades and the actual game.

It's really annoying to me that every Halo game except for CE has one seemingly minor emulation bug that keeps it from playing perfectly. Halo 2 has a fog and z-buffer issue. @linxdj4497 you'd be surprised how difficult that kind of thing can be, especially when emulation is so much quicker & easier. Not everyone can tinker with their game files to make controls less slippery, believe it or not. @@linxdj4497 outright piracy is sketchier than emulation, & it may run better, but a shitty port is usually shitty because of the controls, whether it just fucks up how they feel, doesn't support controller on pc for no reason, that kind of thing
@@stevec.9037 not supporting controller ? there are so many software and mods that could enable that , and im not sure what you mean by how they feel... and you could probably modify it using sofware, I bet i can go through all the xbox 360,PS3 games and only find a handfull with unfixable bad controls... and those games probably arent even that good anyways, my point is , emulation is great but for exclusives 99% of the time and that 1% is probably on games i dont even care for playing cause its just 1%....
@linxdj4497 you'd be surprised how difficult that kind of thing can be, especially when emulation is so much quicker & easier. Not everyone can tinker with their game files to make controls less slippery, believe it or not. What i mean by how they feel is exactly what i said, how they feel to play & control, I've had a number of games where the controls on the port feel like my character has shoes made of butter & other problems like that. The specific example i had in mind when writing the initial comment was oblivion, which doesn't natively support controller, the steam controller packages you can download hardly work, & it feels floaty & janky even when you do get it working
cpu and gpu high temp why
even with re4 remake not having 75° like the emu
Anything up to 85 degrees Celsius is still within acceptable parameters.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 not the case
i mean for old games should not get that temp
@@missidjer1784 It is if you're emulating those games. Remember, emulation essentially adds another translation layer between the cpu and the software. 75 degrees is really not that bad.
Minecraft how did you ran it cause i can..
Xenia or Xenia Canary is better?
I can not find compatibility list for both
Xenia Canary is your best bet. The only games that ran exclusively on the Master build were Wet and Wolfenstein. Otherwise Canary was more stable and performed better as well.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 thanks!

Can these benchmarks be valid for a gtx 1650 laptop
Relax. You're fine.

@@xmangamingandmore6129 Xenia isn't as demanding as RPCS3, so most of these games will run fine.

not everygame works best i wanted to play just cause 1 2006 game but it freeze in one mission and i cant move forward
Thanks for teaching me the alphabet!
Overlord have sound issues right?
Yeah, but it's still good enough to be playable. Believe me, I was strict when selecting playable versus non-playable games. For example, I removed Fable 2 from my list because it now has vertex explosions. But a year ago it was playable.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 No Fable 2, not you :(. What a shame
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 It seems a bunch of games in the more recent versions of Xenia Canary that were playable with little to no issues before are broken now. I don't know what they did to break so many games now, but they need to try to fix the regressions as soon as possible.

really wish people would get together and make a proper emulator for OG Xbox and 360, Xemu and Xenia are terrible.
to bad you can't save the game it keeps disappearing
Will it play on Intel HD graphics 3000?.Lol
I don't think so, man. But nobody will stop you from trying.
Gear of War 1 and 2 are all fucked up on my Xenia. Even with the patches switched on the shadows are a mess.

How do i get the app on series x
You can't, sorry.
Apparently I was wrong. You can get the app, but ask this guy instead. He knows more about this: th-cam.com/video/khEm91kh-6I/w-d-xo.html
I think you pay a 1 time fee to get into Dev mode and you can run all emulators that way.
Kinda funny that the majority of these game can just be played on the exact same PC with their native versions at much better framerates and quality. There are a few standout titles, though. Obviously the exclusives and we can finally play Diablo 3 on PC with proper gamepad support!
OK, I got a little further in the video and I gotta say, this might be the best and easiest, less buggy and broken, way of playing GTA 4 on PC. I almost want to go set this up just to play that.
Gta 4 was fixed on pc by the community. It’s really smooth these days
in future all of these games will be unplayable on native PC version, or there will be bugs that wasn't there before. so you'll have no choice but to play on emulator or wait when community made mods to fix it
so GTAIV runs fine?
As long as you don't expect a constant 60, then yes, it's fine. I drove around for at least half-an-hour and nothing weird happened.
here it crashes and gives me the "graphics device lost" error sometimes

Not too good, sorry.
I am currently playing Dark Souls on xenia. My experience is quite mixed. Sporadic issues with sounds that may go in loop and getting the game suspended for no particular reason are my only concerns.

I haven't seen DmC Devil May Cry on this list. The game runs perfectly fine and can be completed. At least, I managed to complete the original game and Vergil's Downfall DLC in 2021.
Oh, okay. I must've overlooked that one.
Pc port would be better more fps and better graphics all at half the power
@@jeffreypeters5578 The only difference is quality of textures that have higher definition in PC version. As for fps, performance on Xenia Canary was great for me after shader cache was compiled.
@@forestlaw5042 Nope! higher textures, better aa fxaa, msaa, higher framerate,DmC is a great pc port imo and a good game.I luved the og and thought the reboot was good it gets hated on but i love the real world masonic cabal who runs the world in the game example
@@jeffreypeters5578 I don't see any point in arguing that PC port is superior, that's the fact. However, I had personally great performance/framefrate by playing DmC specifically on Xenia Canary. After setting the "draw_resolution_scale_x = 3" and "draw_resolution_scale_y = 3" parameters in the config file, the graphics will get much better. Should everyone use Xenia Canary to play DmC for the first time if there is PC version? Of course not. But, it is still an option to try it on Xenia Canary.
What about Xenia Canary .
As stated at the beginning of the video, all of the footage was taken from the Canary version, except for two games.
