      IDK if any one told you guys, but the show told you the plane crash in the ep titles , its like an easter egg, go back and read the ep titles for this season, its "Seven Thirty-Seven", "Down", "Over" and "ABQ" or something like that, another great thing they threw into the show.. also pay attention to the colors in the show, it has alot of symbolism , not going to say what or who, but keep an eye out of people and events that match in colors

    Fun *no spoilers* fact: the ''another old bald guy'' was written into the show only because Bob Odenkirk, who plays Saul, wasn't available to shoot this episode. So the writers had to come up with a new character to fill in for Bob in this episode.

    "Phoenix" didn't have the black & white cold open. The episodes were "737", "Down", "Over", and "ABQ". Good catch on Walt's color. He's usually in green. His pink sweater matches the bear. Note also that a similar mid-air collision happened in real life in Cerritos, CA in 1986, where the controller's name was Walter White.

      Mikael Monsaraz It’s this thing where yes, he dfinitely has a hand in things, but also a lot of people remove the responsibility in the other people involved. Jesse and Jane were both adults. No one made them use drugs. Walt didn’t make Jane mix hardcore drugs to maximize their high. Both Jesse and Jane are adults who made poor life decisions. Walt is responsible for Combo’s death, not for Jesse’s addictions. Walt is responsible for not saving Jane, not for her hardcore drug intake.

      @@ZeroChaos76 everyone is responsible for their own actions and needs a sense of accountability. • @uoabigaillevey
      @uoabigaillevey 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ducksauce9187 Not hating on you in this reply.. just correcting a mistake in your comment. Intent matters. Walt/Heisenberg had no intention.. nor even a clue that the possibility existed.. that over 100 people would or could be killed in a plane collision that had a root cause in the fact that the air traffic controller happened to be the father of someone he had let die.. nor that the father would go back to work too soon. Justification is not required because there was no intent. The only thing Walt/Heisenberg would be guilty of in this scenario would be of not intervening in Jane's death.. which would be considered manslaughter or at minimum depraved indifference. The fault of the plane collision and 100+ dead falls directly on the air traffic controller (Jane's Father) and the person who let him go back to work in such a high stress job where hundreds or thousands of peoples lives are on the line.

That is the entire point of the pink bear and what it represents. Children died because of him. It doesn't matter whether or not that's what he intended to happen, it happened.

    • @hdns4
      @hdns4 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      @@lucienrichardson5691 Even that is partly Walt's fault. Jesse went deeper into drugs because Walt got his friend killed. He pushed and pushed for Jesse to expand their territory, and it got Jesse's longtime friend shot, and in his grief, he turned to substance abuse, dragging Jane down with him. All the terrible events of this season are put into motion by Walt. Whether or not he means for all these terrible chain reactions to happen doesn't really matter. His actions continually have consequences. He's getting more and more greedy and more and more people are paying the price. That's what the pink bear represents.

    • @hdns4
      @hdns4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@lelouchvibritannia4028 Eh, not directly no. Jesse's depression is one of many consequences for Walt's actions, and that is what the pink bear represents. All of the consequences for Walt's actions as a whole. His actions got Jesse's friend killed, which pushed Jesse into depression and substance abuse, which led to Jane's death, which Walt could have prevented but chose not to, which then finally led to the plane crash. Whether he meant to or not, he set off a chain reaction that got hundreds of people killed, including children, such as the child who we can assume owned that pink teddy bear.
      And that is the point of the bear. To show us that innocent people are now getting caught in the crossfire of Walt's ever-expanding greed. A child's teddy bear is an ultimate symbol of purity and innocence, and seeing it half-burned from a plane crash is a literal death of innocence for Walt.

      @@swankyturtle6727 well I have been using it for 4-5 years now but it helped me leave 10+ year of tobacco addiction by making me paranoid about my future and now I don't feel the urge to use any things in day to day in my life and I use it once in 3-4 months I guess it works for me and depends on person to person

    • @swankyturtle6727

      @@vkc7587 definitely depends on the person. what I meant by gateway is that people who use weed at a young age will become more inclined to use other, more powerful/addictive drugs in the future. Or at least that’s what they teach you in school. Just because it has benefits that doesn’t mean it’s not a drug, there are plenty of good drugs used for medical uses. Nice to see that it helped you overcome addiction though 👍🏻 definitely speaks to its legalization

      @@swankyturtle6727 yeah totally agree, when I was in transaction period I found food to be very addictive and it depends on person to person, and totally upto the people to what they make their addiction to, I recently found out that sugar is also very addictive and trying to quit sugar, thanks for ur thoughts , really appreciated❤

    I will never understand in a million years why Rick always has a smirk on his face during the scenes that are supposed to be heartbreaking and terrible. It's like he has to crack an awkward joke just so he doesn't feel any feelings

They clearly explained a couple of episodes ago that due to TH-cam copyright for the series, they had to post the reaction segment on their site but they'd be posting the links in the comments and descriptions for you to watch for free. _Go do that_
