I love you all to bits. and all my wigs as well! You make these excellent videos to show us all aspects of wig ownership, and how to care for them, giving them longer lives, as well as great styling tips making them suitable for all types of occasions! No other company does all this, to my knowledge, and we certainly need to kidnap you both and bring you here to Scotland! With Brexit ahead for us, I have purchased a few, to ensure I have them prior to import duties goimg through the roof. I've also had a problem with Paypal who are treating me as a geriatric, which I am, but certainly not demented, as yet, but will find a way to overcome our different currencies, in order that I can be a good customer! I enjoyed this video and I learned to not take it so seriously. Expect it to feel and look horrific for a while and realize it's part of the process. I have never worn a wig in my life but my hairline is receding the way my Dad's did. Mom has a bald spot on her crown but I got Dad's genes, and I have a high forehead to begin with. I'm turning 64 this summer and I'm just sick of going through life with hair that brings me down. I'm done. I'm now collecting wigs ! Thank you for these tutorials. I will be watching more of them. I have much to learn.

Lisa, as a reluctant newbie just a few months ago, let me assure you that it doesn’t take that much time before you’re very comfortable in these wigs! You’ll wonder why on earth you waited so long to “put your toe in the water”! My advice is to order several at first and send back ones you don’t like. My first wig was close to my “real” hair color and style (just to get started) then I quickly branched out to the gray I was embracing. Now, 10+ wigs later, I never leave home without one, as it’s so wonderful to know that your hair always looks good no matter what! Good luck and enjoy this adventure!!

Not new to wigs, but I'm always up to learn something. I'd love to learn how to style my wigs when I need to change them up a little. I've not had hair in over 30 years unfortunately - and I mean NONE. I'm not very good at styling, but I know how to wear them. I get tired of the same "out of the box" style. Hoping to find some help. Never had a ponytail in my life either.....sigh....so I haven't messed with my wigs much. Would also love to learn how to wear long hair.....

What do you do when the wig slides up and you don’t have much of a bone or bump on the back of your head for the wood to catch on. This is a problem I am having with my first wig. I did stretch it out like you suggested because it was giving me a head ache otherwise it fits. Just need a suggestion to make it feel right. Also I enjoyed your video. Thanks.
Hi Chris, Rochelle here. Great question! Here are my 5 suggestions if your wig is riding up in the back: 1. Sew 2 clips on the bottom of the wig so you can easily snap the wig in place into your hair. We sell individual metal clips (with rubber grippers) and you can also order our wigs with metal clips sewn in for an additional charge. If your hair is too fine to directly clip in, wear a nylon wig cap over your hair, then attach the metal clips directly onto the nylon cap. Here's the link to nylon or mesh caps: www.godivassecretwigs.com/wig-caps/. 3. It Stays Glue is a great body glue that I also use to keep bra straps from slipping on my shoulders or to keep a low cut top from moving - it washes off with soap and water and is ONLY to attach to bare skin, not hair. Read hundreds of happy client comments to keep your wig from moving anywhere on your head: www.godivassecretwigs.com/wig-grip-bands/. They come in 4 colors and 3 different sizes. 5. Sew hair combs (which are larger than metal clips) to the bottom of the wig. Make a few pin curls at the very bottom of your head and secure with bobby pins; then secure the combs into the pin curls. Hi Rochelle, I would love to purchase a wig but some of the ones I like don't come in a large cap. I have watched the video done by Danielle and feel confident in altering a medium cap to fit. Would it be possible to put the exact measurements in the description so we would know if that particular wig has enough adjustability please? From what I gather not all Medium wigs are the exact same measurement. The large cap wig fit a 23 inch head I believe.

Hi Dorothy, Rochelle here. If your widow's peak is the same color as the wig, put the wig on as usual, then use a rattail comb or anything with a thin point and very slowly, pull a little of the hair at the peak out to blend with the wig. If your plan is to wear a wig everyday, and you like bangs, consider trimming a touch of your hair to work with the bangs on the wig. Our wigs can be trimmed to work with your hair, so bangs could easily be customized on any wig too. If you're wearing a different color wig, play with still pulling out a touch of your peak hair to work with it. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
Absolutely! As long as the color matches somewhat. The problem that can make the wig look fake is when some women pull too much of their hair around their face and the consistency (straight, wavy, frizzy) is different from the wig. Just use a rattail comb and sneak a little of your hair out after you've put the wig on securely. Hope this works and thanks for watching!

Hi Lisa, the "root" means that it shows a darker color at the root of the wig all the way through the entire wig. For many women, rooted look wigs are all we (I) wear. It doesn't matter what color your own roots are, unless you always color your hair one mono color, having the different blends with roots gives our wigs an even more realistic look - thanks for watching!
What size wig would fit me? Here is a link below from our website to see how to measure your head for wigs. However, the very easiest and fastest suggestion I have is to visit a department store or a Walmart that has hats. Most stores like this carry only 1 size: standard/average hats. Try any cap/hat (not a knit) and if it fits, you're 90% an average size in a wig. If it's too tight on your head, you're probably a large. You make these excellent videos to show us all aspects of wig ownership, and how to care for them, giving them longer lives, as well as great styling tips making them suitable for all types of occasions! No other company does all this, to my knowledge, and we certainly need to kidnap you both and bring you here to Scotland! With Brexit ahead for us, I have purchased a few, to ensure I have them prior to import duties goimg through the roof. I've also had a problem with Paypal who are treating me as a geriatric, which I am, but certainly not demented, as yet, but will find a way to overcome our different currencies, in order that I can be a good customer! I enjoyed this video and I learned to not take it so seriously. Expect it to feel and look horrific for a while and realize it's part of the process. I have never worn a wig in my life but my hairline is receding the way my Dad's did. Mom has a bald spot on her crown but I got Dad's genes, and I have a high forehead to begin with. I'm turning 64 this summer and I'm just sick of going through life with hair that brings me down. I'm done. I'm now collecting wigs ! Thank you for these tutorials. I will be watching more of them. I have much to learn.

You have an amazing personality. I've been buying paula young wigs.... but I think it's time for a change.
Lisa, as a reluctant newbie just a few months ago, let me assure you that it doesn’t take that much time before you’re very comfortable in these wigs! You’ll wonder why on earth you waited so long to “put your toe in the water”! My advice is to order several at first and send back ones you don’t like. My first wig was close to my “real” hair color and style (just to get started) then I quickly branched out to the gray I was embracing. Now, 10+ wigs later, I never leave home without one, as it’s so wonderful to know that your hair always looks good no matter what! Good luck and enjoy this adventure!!

Not new to wigs, but I'm always up to learn something. I'd love to learn how to style my wigs when I need to change them up a little. I've not had hair in over 30 years unfortunately - and I mean NONE. I'm not very good at styling, but I know how to wear them. I get tired of the same "out of the box" style. What do you do when the wig slides up and you don’t have much of a bone or bump on the back of your head for the wood to catch on. This is a problem I am having with my first wig. I did stretch it out like you suggested because it was giving me a head ache otherwise it fits. Just need a suggestion to make it feel right. Also I enjoyed your video. Thanks.
Hi Chris, Rochelle here. Great question! Here are my 5 suggestions if your wig is riding up in the back:
1. Sew 2 clips on the bottom of the wig so you can easily snap the wig in place into your hair. We sell individual metal clips (with rubber grippers) and you can also order our wigs with metal clips sewn in for an additional charge. Here's the link for metal clips:

2. If your hair is too fine to directly clip in, wear a nylon wig cap over your hair, then attach the metal clips directly onto the nylon cap. Here's the link to nylon or mesh caps:

3. It Stays Glue is a great body glue that I also use to keep bra straps from slipping on my shoulders or to keep a low cut top from moving - it washes off with soap and water and is ONLY to attach to bare skin, not hair. Here's the link:

4. Try our Wig Grip Band. Read hundreds of happy client comments to keep your wig from moving anywhere on your head:

5. Sew hair combs (which are larger than metal clips) to the bottom of the wig. Make a few pin curls at the very bottom of your head and secure with bobby pins; then secure the combs into the pin curls. Dollar store or online to order these.

Hello Ms. Rochelle. I really love your product!! I just purchased my first wig a day ago. I have a full head of hair that is one inch all around. Any suggestions on how to secure it? I did purchased the starter kit with the wig band, but will I need a wig cap, because my hair seems to be growing straight up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 😊

Hi Rochelle, I would love to purchase a wig but some of the ones I like don't come in a large cap. I have watched the video done by Danielle and feel confident in altering a medium cap to fit. Would it be possible to put the exact measurements in the description so we would know if that particular wig has enough adjustability please? From what I gather not all Medium wigs are the exact same measurement. The large cap wig fit a 23 inch head I believe.

What is the best way to adjust your wig if you have a widows peak?
Hi Dorothy, Rochelle here. If your widow's peak is the same color as the wig, put the wig on as usual, then use a rattail comb or anything with a thin point and very slowly, pull a little of the hair at the peak out to blend with the wig. If your plan is to wear a wig everyday, and you like bangs, consider trimming a touch of your hair to work with the bangs on the wig. Our wigs can be trimmed to work with your hair, so bangs could easily be customized on any wig too. If you're wearing a different color wig, play with still pulling out a touch of your peak hair to work with it. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
My hair is the same length and color, but thinner on the top, could I wear candice with my own hair showing?
Absolutely! As long as the color matches somewhat. The problem that can make the wig look fake is when some women pull too much of their hair around their face and the consistency (straight, wavy, frizzy) is different from the wig. Just use a rattail comb and sneak a little of your hair out after you've put the wig on securely. Hope this works and thanks for watching!

Hi,what goes on first the wig or your makeup?
Hi Marcia, Rochelle here. I choose what I'll wear first, before anything, and sometimes try it on with different wigs to choose which wig I'll wear. Then, the wigs come off while I put my makeup on. When my makeup is all finished, I make sure to wash my hands, then my wig goes on last. Clothes, makeup, wig, jewelry. Thanks for asking!

Hi Rochelle, my forehead is very small unlike yours so my hairline would be a lot in the front of my head. So what do you recommend? Also I am Indian what would suit me?

What is a root it?
Hi Lisa, the "root" means that it shows a darker color at the root of the wig all the way through the entire wig. For many women, rooted look wigs are all we (I) wear. It doesn't matter what color your own roots are, unless you always color your hair one mono color, having the different blends with roots gives our wigs an even more realistic look - thanks for watching!
How do you determine what size is needed?
What size wig would fit me?
Here is a link below from our website to see how to measure your head for wigs. However, the very easiest and fastest suggestion I have is to visit a department store or a Walmart that has hats. Most stores like this carry only 1 size: standard/average hats. Try any cap/hat (not a knit) and if it fits, you're 90% an average size in a wig. If it's too tight on your head, you're probably a large. Too big, you're probably a petite.

Can you wear Candice if you have no hair of your own? You say to clip it for safety if you're active.
Hi Tish, Rochelle here! Absolutely, you can wear any wig you like with or without hair. Since Candice is a long wig, I suggest that you do have some security - like a wig cap or a Wig Grip Band or our Body Glue or Tape. Here's the link to see all of our options for securing your wig.
