Sad news. Played this game for a long time and met some great friends.
We need to get a game in soon.
Well time to pull a Netrunner and have the fans take it over
I think that is in the works.
The community is able to build upon it. There are talented people who can create web applications, 3D printing, and who love the game, it is possible to make points changes. Or someone can create a new company that can take up the X-Wing / Armada game.
I look forward to see what the community does.
I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced
I have some thoughts on that coming out tomorrow.
I hope that they bring it back. It’s disappointing that they stopped making the game. This hurts me and my friends.
In the meantime, get together with your friends and play on.
As someone who has been coming back to X-Wing for a decade this is so sad. While continuing to play with family and friends won't be hard, getting new people into the game is going to be insane. I work at an LGS in New Zealand and we've just been getting more interest in the game from new people and have quite a good supply of ships and kits on the wall.
What would you recommend in terms of "stocking up" on product? Is it the time to buy all the ships/scenario packs you might ever want to avoid the secondary market prices?
