Great to hear that on top of Roadhouse, people are also holding a torch out for Wall of Silence. Belting album from one of Canada's most truly underrated discoveries, if not the genre's. Also very nicely surprised to learn it was actually written by a fellow Brit. Ex Streets guitarist Mike Slamer also rerecorded the track 'Addicted' for a band he had in the late 90s called Steelhouse Lane.
All join hands and rock together
Still can’t escape this feeling
Something growing in the air
You can feel it in the music
Get ready we're gonna take you there
Ah yeah, come on, come on
In a new town new horizons
As the lights begin to fade
There’s a crash and roar of thunder
Get ready we're gonna rock the night away
We're gonna bring this town alive
All join hands and rock together
We one making friends to last forever
Traveling around the world is easy
When we’re rocking with the band
Hey, come on, let us show ya
I got a feeling deep inside me
Get ready we're gonna rock this land
Rock it up
We’re gonna bring this town alive
All join hands and rock together
We one making friends to last forever
Rock this band - coast to coast
Yeah come on
Rock this land - come and see
What’s going on
Come on - sing out
All join hands and rock together
All join hands and rock together
Yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah
Love this band
I am somewhere in there. Holding up Pete Willis. My arms were SO sore at the end of that day :)
They used these weird sprung trolleys, but we still had to hold our hands up in the air for SO many takes. We got out at 10pm! Still, I got cash and a bunch of beers...I was 17 years old, life was great!
Another fact. Eastenders was being filmed in the next studio. The canteen was a funny place that day. Pat Butcher, Grant Mitchell and a HUGE bunch of long haired misfits!!
This ROCKS!!!
this is realy post def leppard adrenalize era!! the real one!!
100% this is it!
I can still remember raking in a bargain bucket, volume records Sunderland, and picking up the demo of this song on cassette...
Good stuff
This band is kick ass!👍👍
Holy Crap.. This shit is righteous!!
Despite some criminally cheesy lyrics this is still a instant catch of a track, especially the lead solo. Really surprised it never got used on a film soundtrack
paul Jackson actually runs a guitar shop studio near peterlee in county durham
Let's Get Rocked influence
Recorded the same year i believe 1991, but very similar ....
A lot of adrenalize is leftover from hysteria. So yeah, they're trying to sound like Leppard
@@frasiercraine1776 couldn't be more wrong... Leppard explained yes they were writing Adrenalize during Hysteria, but they never want to replicate a sound of an album. Roadhouse was Pete Willis and Frank Noon
@@carmageddon1886I think Mike Shipley was involved in the production, so theres a DL/Lange-connection there
This was a big mistake, they should’ve marketed Pete Willis back then ..smh
Should have been bigger
Should of and probably could have if the Grunge movement around that time didn't set in.
Nichts!! Es ist einfach nur traurig was aus Def Leppard geworden ist. Die ersten 3 Alben einfach genial und danach ging es Stück für Stück abwärts
