I finally took upon myself to do some research on how to properly use this washer so I could get the best out of it. Thank you very much for sharing your process.
I just got mine delivered today and thank you for this video very helpful! As a parent to another parent (of a almost 2 year old living in a 2 bedroom apartment not having a washer in the building I THANK YOU 🥹🙏🏽❤️
I just got mine yesterday, I'm already in love with it!! I bought a 5.5 gallon trash can to use that instead of the big bowl i was initially using. It'll be completely dedicated to laundry, but it saved the multiple trips to and from the sink!
I bought one of these (the 28 lb capacity one) about a month ago and so far everything is working well! I also bought a Panda spin dryer which is much larger and more powerful to do all the spin drying, but I still use the small spin dryer on my Auertech for the purpose of rinsing. I am one who actually has a house and a basement with hookups and floor drain. But the catch is I have foundation issues along my alley side wall where the stairs to the basement are, and the wall shifted in over time making it too narrow to get a normal washer and dryer through. I have braces on the wall now courtesy of foundation repair, but I needed a washing machine no more than 21" wide in at least one direction to get down there. This one attracted me due to load capacity, light weight and the ability to put it either in a bathtub or downstairs. I also like being able to control how much water goes in and out. Our kitchen sink has plumbing/drain issues and our bathroom is tiny, so I am thankful I can still get this down the stairs easily as it doesn't weigh much. I have regular laundry hose I hook up to our water hookups in the basement but I do not hook them to the Auertech. I simply hold the hose and fill the tub that way. It only takes a minute to fill it 2/3 way. I can drain directly to our floor drain or into a bucket and then tip that slowly down the drain if the drain is fussy and backs up (our house is very old and has plumbing issues at times). The washing machine has a powerful agitator and the spin dryer is surprisingly powerful too. My only complaint is the drain hose is a bit flimsy so it needs extra loving care. I had originally looked into an automatic portable washer as there are some that would fit in our basement too, but for the size of those that would fit the drum is very small and load capacity less than the twin tubs (at least this one), and the weight of those is much more making it hard to get down the stairs to our basement. I was also worried about water hookups to the sink or bathroom faucet and the drain problem with those. I like the twin tubs because you can manually fill them (you can not do this with the automatics) to desired amount and bypass the sink hookups altogether. And the bathtub is a backup plan for us with this machine if something goes wrong in the basement. It is a little more hands on work but it goes fast as it takes less time to wash/rinse/spin than the portable automatics that can take 45 to 60 minutes per load. I went to the laundromat for 20 years and I was sick of it! I don't mind hang drying clothes after spinning as I did this with many of my clothes from the laundromat anyway. I dislike the shrinking and color damage heat dryers cause. Finally, I can still manually wash a few clothing items or twin size comforters etc in a large laundry bucket with hot water and then use my large Panda spin dryer to spin dry them out and hang for those items I do not want to put in the Auertech. My Panda is essentially my backup plan if the Auertech stops working for any reason as I can hand wash clothes and use the panda to spin dry. If the Panda quits working I have the spin dryer on the Auertech.
I just wanted to give a big thank you Auntie for showing us this because I forgot that these existed whenever I had a miniature one in college and I recently had to get one thanks to your video reminding me my washer broke down due to bad Plumbing Systems and I ended up getting the jumbo version of what you have and it's work seamlessly but may I just add this I went a step further I put mine on Wheels LOL I know that sounds silly but it just Maneuvers around so much easier I bought the wheels off of Sheehan and I screwed them in nicely so they wouldn't hit any wiring or cause damage to the structure itself and it has been just the greatest thing ever

Thank you X's 100! ❤💙💗 Btw, no need to apologize for the coloring on the tub. That's ART! 🤗
I did the same thing about 10 years ago with a washer that I got from Walmart online to wash my three boys clothes and then I would just take it downstairs to the apartment dryers. You could also get a clothes drying rack or hang some line in your living room and close pin it the old-fashioned way to dry. Super helpful!
So nice to hear you used them back then. It looks like they’ve come in handy for a long time and still today. I was thinking of getting a clothes rack to go in my bathroom!
@@Sams-explorations Yes my washer was a little different. It was a regular old fashioned washer just in mini form. I bought it online from Walmart for around $300 and it was so worth it. A drying rack definitely helps or you could purchase a mini portable dryer too 👍🏼💕
I just got mine a few days ago. I love it. I wish I had a Portable dryer tho. That's on my bucket list, tho. I got it for same reasons as you. I live in a 2 bdrm apt upstairs and even tho there are washers and dryers in basement, there are far more tenants than those appliances. So this way I'm in my apt, minding my business, and no fuss. My mom just surprised me with a portable dryer a few minutes ago. I'm in complete shock right now. Like it just showed up from myself to myself. I'm like I didn't order this. So i checked my Amazon account and bank account. I'm no there's no transaction. I'm like who sent me this???? I'm flabbergasted! Totally made my day.
I have a portable washer and dryer. Through covid-19 height, I wanted to stay away from public places, and it was great. I suggest you get a drying rack and an apartment size dryer
It is amazing how little detergent is needed, especially to wash towels. I learned the hard way using my portable washing machine. The first time I washed towels, I ended up rinsing three times before most of the detergent was rinsed out. A little detergent goes a long way and I'm still playing around with the ratio. Less detergent is definitely more with these small machines.
I used to use a bucket to fill as well until I found an awesome shower attachment. It has a shower head and another spot with a hose and another spot for another shower head. So I just use the hose to fill the washer. Works awesome. Just thought I would share. It was a game changer for me. 😊
That’s a great idea. I only use the bucket because the hose that came with it still wasn’t long enough to connect from the sink to the spout of the washer. Also my shower head is too short too lol. I will definitely look for some longer ones to make it easier to fill up. Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Thanks for this tutorial! Your personality is so sweet 🎂💖 i found this washer on the curb out front of my neighbor's house. He just moved in so im guessing it just wasnt meeting his and his kids needs
Thank you for stopping by! Yes it depends on the persons situation, I use mine when I need to wash small loads and I’m current on laundry. If I’m backed up, I head to laundromat! 😂❤️
Ty for posting this!! I got mine on fb marketplace, used once so it was basically new. The belt under the washer half needed some lubricant since it had been a bit dusty in storage. Hoping I can get to stop squeeking lol. The instructions I could find online were p vague for water level and amount of clothes but this is a really good example.
This is the video I needed for sure. Do you usually put the clothes from the rinse cycle into the spinner again? I'm worried my little portable dryer I just got won't be able to handle the sopping wet clothes
Yes i do, i run it for a spin cycle a few pieces of clothing at a time and usually that does the trick to getting the clothes dry enough to air dry or bring downstairs to the big dryers
Hi there! I just received the 28lb washer - the skimpy manual says I should be cleaning a lint trap and an over flow filter. I can't find the overflow filter. The illustrations are confusing to say the least. What's your maintenance routine for the machine? It would help so much to know. ♥️
Thank you SO much for this video. I just got my washer today and haven't used it yet. The instruction booklet wasn't very detailed. QUESTION how much liquid detergent is too much to use???
It looks like you are using a lot of soap for the relatively small load. Modern day detergent is highly concentrated. Maybe look at the back of the deterget bottle and reconsider how much detergent you need, as using too much could result in it still being in the clothes and cause skin irritation, especially if you have kids. I have one of these too and you'd be surprised, by how little detergent you actually need.
You should be able to turn the knob to drain and the water drains from the tube on the side of the machine. I’d suggest reaching out to customer support if you ordered on amazon, they are very responsive.
@@Sams-explorationspurchased mine about 18 months ago. Tried several times to leave the machine on the bathroom floor, place the drain hose over the tub to drain. Never worked. Mine needs to be inside the tub with the draining hose lying flat, requires me to keep an eye on it so it does not flood upwards and wreck the tub machine. My spinner as expected, went out in the 7 month timeline others had. Check the troubleshooting manual and the prongs connected to the kid, but that was not the problem. Now, after rinsed, am grateful for a very long handicapped bar to start drip drying and handwriting. Takes awhile. Then clothes get clipped on to clothes hangers. The washer is a real workhorse. Needs a bit of incoming and outgoing water babysitting for which I usually do yoga or therapy stretches. Ended up getting a home fish aquarium net several months ago, because the lint trap unpredictable as to what it catches. Have had my cat twelve years now, and have spent a lot of time pulling out cat hair mostly out of her lap blankets and some of my clothes like house socks. Tedious work especially the first month or two. Surprisingly, the other apartment complex laundry machines were not picky up all of that amazingly hidden hair. I do this to both keep allergies down and to keep my machine from clogging up. And to think, I regularly brush my cat and keep up with the apartment fur issues.
Please explain why anyone would want a spin section so tiny that you have to sit there doing 2 or more spin sections per wash? Why aren't we calling out these Chinese companies for making these machines?
I mean I didn’t really think about that since I never even knew these existed. It’s convenient for my needs even if it requires a bit more work. The price wasn’t bad and allows me to wash my clothes at home.
Remember when the clothes are wet they are more compacted and than that's why you push the clothes down to push them more to add more ALOT can fit in the spin dryer if you push them down..

I feel like you don’t need to use nearly as much as you’d use in a regular washer. Maybe even a quarter of what you’d normally use would be fine.
Sam, I have a question. How do you get your towels to be soft? When mine are drying they are pretty rough. Thank you. 😊
Hey! You could put some fabric softener in when you wash your towels and that should
Help soften them when they air dry.
Thank you, Sam.

Mine doesn’t havea fill line but you shouldn’t go past the filter inside of it.

There is a water inlet for the hose to put water in
yes i know buts it not totally reliable and will leak sometimes so the manual way is better for me to prevent this
Did you take the plastic off the dryer top?
which plastic? I may have left the plastic on the spin top
Oh okay yeah I meant the spinner sorry I didn’t know if that really mattered to take it off or not
