I remember in 2014 in hs when this album came out.. and how I PRE ORDERED the album due to her FANTASEA mixtape that I used to listen to in middle school . BWET was designed to be a psychedelic experience in a human body in a complete album. She has a whole series on the story behind the album and all the songs. The album is basically about growing up and realizing how the WORLD ACTUALLY IS then what we thought as kids. I went to LaGuardia high school by JFK. And when I tell you I have never in my life as a New Yorker EVER felt seen till this album came out and now the lyrics hit completely DIFFERENT then back then🥹🥹🥹 one of my fav albums of all time 10/10
Azealia also went to the same High school as me so did NICKI MINAJ . this album completely shaped the way I thought about music and how black people created every genre of music. This album completely gives me chills till this day. The same way you reacted is literally the same way I reacted the first day the album came out. I was so geeked and from the grace of god high ass hell. THIS ALBUM COMPLETELY hits different because I am a THEATER ARTS student.
