Me and like 8 friends bought tickets to the Fame Kills tour, was pissed when it was cancelled. One thing to know is that Gaga is a performance artist through and through, and her music, especially “The Fame” and “Fame Monster” should be interpreted as tongue-in-cheek. That’s why it comes across so extremely shallow and vapid, because she was making fun of how a lot of pop music at the time sounded.
I don't listen to pop music. I think most of it is boring and lacks creativity/originality, BUT when Lady Gaga debuted I was intrigued. I actually love this album. I also think the fact that Poker Face is still played on the radio uncensored is iconic. People had no idea she wasn't saying "poker face" the second time. Martin Kierszenbaum is a producer and songwriter and he had a pseudonym called Cherry Cherry Boom Boom which is why Gaga references that a few times on her songs (where he had involvement in at least). He also has Cherrytree Records under which I believe her first 2-3 albums were involved with. Edit: it's been heavily speculated and rumored that it was Rob Fusari that he was the one that sexually abused her while they were working together. She has never named him outright but long standing fans have kinda put the pieces and timeline together on the details that she did reveal about those things that happened to her.
