This is great thanks as I’ve never thought to use CORNMEAL (not really cornflour as you say in video) in gluten free rotis.. I’ll definitely try these they look tasty ! Can you tell us the gram and millilitre measurements of your cups as some CUP sizes are different?
It is not nixtamalized flour, isn't it ? It would called masa flour then, would it ? The difference is important for accesability of nutrients in maize.
Both Jowar and the corn flours ( Maize flour ) that we get in India are gluten free flours. They are both used to make gluten free rotis. Gluten free flours like these need warm or hot water to be kneaded into a pliable dough.
@HappyBellyfish ok i got it. In telugu they are called jonnalu and mokka jonnalu. I thought both are same. Now I get it. But both are from poaceae family. Thanks.

The cup that I use is 250 ml. In this recipe the cup size is not relevant , the ratio of water (before boiling ) to flour is 1:1.
Can you tell me the colour of cornflour or maize flour
Yellow , its the same color as the one you are seeing in the video

Yes you are right. I have also mentioned it at about @7:42
Is this similar to jowar flour? Or is it different.? Makki ki roti is also corn flour? I'm confused. -_-
