"Loot Lookup" plugin does the same thing but pulls all the correct data/monster versions from the wiki! The only reason I made my own version was to track which items i have/have not obtained.
So a few things that made a few of your unlocks potentially good in the future is that achey logs only need 1 woodcutting, meaning if you can get an iron or bronze axe you unlocked a way to train woodcutting/firemaking. Clockworks can be used for birdhouses, those are all tradable the hard part is getting the logs, hammer and chisel for those though. Sardines, if you unlock both the tower of life quest and red spider eggs, can be used for a money maker for your niche rule set by killing spidines there, also since those weird "tradable but not tradable on ge" items are apparently on the list for unlocks a drop - red satchels, burnt sardines are also tradable, just not on the GE so you can cook them until one burns.
I love how the very first move, kill a goblin, already had some gambling involved in whether you'd get a drop or just bones, just brilliant. You even spoke like an addict standing right in front of a slot machine.
Simple. He can’t buy the item from a shop until it’s randomly unlocked. Once unlocked, he can buy it. Since it’s the first time he’s obtained it, it’s a new unlock roll.
A suggestion for the plugin- let the user star items in the collection log for significance, it’s really easy to forget which items you’ve unlocked and if you’re hunting items in the early game it would be a lot easier to manage
I am so invested in this series now. I was super pissed that it just came out and couldnt binge like 50+ episodes. Looking forward to many more episodes

Great concept for an account. Can't wait to watch more. I'd really like to try this out myself, if you ever get the plugin to a state you can upload it to the hub. Some of the most fun of these unique accounts is doing your own playthrough along side it.

This is actually super in line with Old School. Gudi, incredible idea man! And even better implementation with the plug-ins you used/designed for this. You could even make it more or less than what you’ve done for a more casual play or a more sadistic “settled” approach. Really happy to see where this will go.

Absolutely in love with this series! One suggestion: it would be great to see you acquire and be kitted out in your currently unlocked BIS gear at the end of each video, assuming the stuff is reasonable to get (e.g. found in a shop or via a common drop).
Love the series! Remember that some items are exclusively obtained from shops, so unless you unlock them randomly, you are locked out of rolling a number of unlocks for your acc.
Reminds me a lot of the randomizer data packs from Minecraft :O! Maybe one day Jagex can implement an official mode like this on a dedicated server, because would love to try a door randomizer in runescape lol. Great job with the video!
Jagex literally has made a randomizer, where every item source, npc spawn, and even what skill you get XP in is random. But the one jmod who worked on it for fun left, and they said it will never be released
@@michaelwoods8299 npc spawn, what? im playing discord version of osrs, which has now twice ran temporary discord bot where you send minion to trips. and it would be amazing but the discord bot version randomizes EVERYTHING as long it has different id and it has EVERY osrs item you can get. so it has 5 versions of dizanas quivers in it. and usually those most of those are hidden when playing the normal osrs version of the discord version, but with randomizer it has all of these and you cant repair them: Uncharged Charged Uncharged + Locked Charged + Locked Broken
NO WAY! They announced Project Zanaris, which is basically official private servers for custom modes like this video! Gudi hope you will be the one who makes an official world of this for everyone :D

@@Gudi broodoo shield only has 25 def and 25 magic requirement tho. you can train defence just normally and you most likely will be living in zeah library for the magic lvls before you unlock runes.
Love the idea of the series. It does make you realise how many (completely useless) items there are. Like that unstrung iron crossbow, it makes sense for it to exist but its completely useless item. Looking at the GE the daily trade volume is 1.

The "show all bad rolls at the same time" bit was really good. I hope you keep doing that. If you just do that at the beginning of every episode it can even be a way of teasing what you're doing later on in the episode if you leave in background details Really excited to see if this works out or if you will softlock yourself by only getting bad items
I think one variation on this that would work very well is to make the likelihood of rolling an item tied to it's GE price. That way, you get mostly common items at the start which then turns into hoping for lucky rolls to get the big ticket items later on.

Only thought is that you might consider operating like a modified IM set up (like you have to gamble the items on your person/bank to "ante up" and unlock something) since on a long enough timeline you will unlock most things and then it will just be a main with a couple quirks.

Bronzeman mode is the most fun I ever had in OSRS. This is Bronzeman mode on RNG steroids.
PS Jagex, make Bronzeman mode an official mode.
You could just pk your main for everything you need though. I’m guessing that’s why it hasn’t been made official

Broodoo shield, which has +5 prayer vs sandals +3: “bad unlock”
It is less about the stats and more about how accessible it is. Broodoo shield has a boat load of item reqs

These are the training sword and shield you get from the tutor. They aren't tradeable so they weren't locked so he can get them from the tutor
