This Chunk is a very personal major wave of nostalgia for me. This Chunk was my favorite place to be in RS2. Back in approximately 2010, I decided to explore the fence south of the yew trees I was chopping, since I didn't know how the world map worked, and I literally had to follow my brother to Fally because I would get lost on the way there. Anywho, I discovered that there was a cow pen, and after having fun I discovered the cooking method too. So, I did a method of cooking cow meat on the fireplace, burying bones, and walking the cowhide back to the bank. I later did this again in 2016 in OSRS, feeling nostalgic for when I was younger. It was this time that I discovered that there was a cow I could milk, the churning station, and the chicken pen. I'm not sure how I didn't notice these when I was younger, despite spending so much time there. And now here I am again, in 2025, watching a video doing the same obscure method that I learned all those years ago, knowing every chunk task on your list because I did them myself accidentally by just having fun in RuneScape all those years ago. I even knew about the cabbage seeds, the imp spawns where I completed imp catcher, and the highwayman cape (I wore the cape exclusively as a kid, and was obsessed with saying Stand and Deliver whenever I saw someone pass by the cow pen). Thank you for taking me down memory lane, for an activity that noone knew I did, on one of my most obscure methods I came up with as a kid.
Love this comment man! I've got some super similar experiences from my times of coming back to this game and my childhood. I have a few chunks that are super nostalgic for me as well and if I get to one of them, I'll have a lot to say about it in the video. Reminiscing on the old days when I was young and doing silly things in this game is such a fun time for me. Truly a great story you have here and I'm glad I could help bring that nostalgia back for you. The second video is going to focus on nostalgia a bit, so make sure you check it out!
@@greysononlyknows Concept, content and editing are all good. Make a schedule and stick to it. I want my shoutout, when you get your golden playbutton.
@@fubarrossi1234 Thanks! I'm going to do my best to stick to a schedule. I have a full time job and a kid on the way, but I always try to stick to a schedule with my releases. And aye aye Captain! Shoutout will be shouted out if I ever get there!
Love the "Did you know?" parts. At first I thought this would be the same OneChunk as everyone elses, but boy was I wrong. I really do love this twist of being able to pick any chunk! Can't wait to watch the next episode.
Oh boy 99 rc landmine already Also one thing, ALWAYS go to the chunk you picked to scout it out even if no tasks shown, there are some very weird edge cases / sometimes monsters are reachable from neighboring chunks that will be useful
99rc is an imminently pending grind, but it's not quite time for it yet. I have no way to train it and no way to get resources for it yet. Luckily lol As for new chunks, you're of course absolutely right, so make sure you watch the next video when it's out! That chunk may or may not be making an appearance haha Rolling the next real chunk was important for the end of the video for me and the series.
I like watching one chunks and wanted to try it and decided on the same ruleset as you (i was going to do quest unlocked once you could start them if you had a way to get the stats/non quest unique items in your unlocked chunks) since never seen it before got as far as creating the account so glad someone else is giving it a rry really intrested to see how it turns out
Thanks! Sounds you like you know what is in store for me then! I'm also hoping to not have to pickpocket a ton in the chunk. Need a lot of money though, so I'll have to get it somehow. If you have any tips for the chunk, by all means let me know! :D
@@greysononlyknows I wish I had better advice tbh. I needed a small kingdoms's worth of gold for runes, so I ended up pickpocketing and afk fletching for a little while. I almost got a guard trapped by safespotting it with my main up at the north end of the chunk, but it seemed kind of finicky. If you can get it to work reliably it could really cut your time down! Good luck!
Bro, what a chunk to roll. Rune shop, sword shop. archery shop, armour shop, bank, anvil, general store, multiple quest beginnings, half of an agility course, and of course... the 99 runecrafting cape.
Great new take on the chunk Ironman! I really hope you don’t hit the wall that stops a lot of these content creators from finishing their goal on a one chunk because the commentary and editing is really good to watch. Keep up the good work!!
Thanks so much! Really appreciate the kind words! :D I definitely know that walls will arise and I'm trying my best to gameplan for them now so that they don't stop me. Skillcapes are the big one at the moment, especially with a 99RC grind looking very imminent at the moment.
@@greysononlyknows Hey, not many people can drop their voice that low! 😊 And you had the confidence to put it on TH-cam for all to hear, that counts for a lot.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it! :D Seems like there actually are a few others who have done similar concepts. Other commenters mentioned Zalat as one and another, but it sounds like there haven't been many uploads. I never saw those when looking for other accounts doing this.
I wish we'd see more of this roll ruleset! I know you've heard a couple names for other random-roll series, but I thought I'd toss in the few that I can remember: notmeta osrs: xtreme, picked wizard tower to start, first to use the concept AFAIK zalat: semi-xtreme, rolled varlamore bazaar to start RNGchunk: vanilla, rolled ge to start with bank Of those, there's a fair chance that zalat is the only one still active. RNGchunk also has some extra rules around the consequences of the mode that will be valuable to think about if you haven't already (rip me if you cover this in the video). In particular: 1. Are you willing to interact with things outside of the chunk? If you roll Zeah, can you use a ship to get there without unlocking the ship chunk first? If you roll lava dragons, can you use the gate outside of the chunk to access the part of this chunk that has the dragons? 2. Can you leave the new chunk after rolling and re-enter from a different entrance? If you roll a chunk that has two parts separated by a river, can/must you access both sides? If not, which side?
Unfortunately I can only hope to one day be half as legendary as Verf. If he can make raking weeds one of the best parts of his Karamja only, then he is a god among men haha. Been awhile since I watched that series. May be worth a rewatch at some point soon.
If you are allowed to move into unlocked chunks by going trough locked chunks, it kinda makes sense you should be able to access everything in any unlocked chunk. So if something is "blocked" by something, it doesn't really matter, just go around it using the locked chunk.
A fun fact, in the chunk picker, if you click on a task, it will tell you more about it, including where it expects you to get the items. This isn't always enough, because as far as I know it doesn't tell you how to train, except that if you (temporarily) backlog the current task, it's highly likely to tell you to do something that can be used as training, including where it thinks there is a range/fire. :) Overall a really fun video so far! I hope you continue with this!
Thanks for the backlogging tip! I'll have to try that out a bit. I k ew you could get more info by clicking on it, but didn't know it would give more info if you backlog it. Unfortunately the duck task gives me nothing useful if I click on it :( I'll definitely be continuing this for a while, so watch out for more!
@@greysononlyknows Your welcome. Another way to get more info about a chunk is to right click it, as that opens a window with a list of everything there. Sometimes things are easy to miss ingame.
Now THAT is something I've gotta look at immediately lol. I knew it was a thing but not how to do it. I think you can see like potential tasks and such that way right?
I'll have to check out that series and see how it compares. Glad you like the concept! My entire series is all up to RNJesus now for sure. Varrock was an interesting curveball to throw me this early haha
Amazing concept, looking forward to seeing the series progress. Best of luck! Btw what music did you use for the falador farm chunk @ 2:12? Sounds amazing
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed so far! :D The song is called Mine All Mine and it's a copyright free song I came across when searching for some bluegrass themed music. Here's a link if you want it! pixabay.com/music/traditional-country-mine-all-mine-203340/
heres a fun fact for you, when milking a cow, if you click on the cow immediately whenever a bucket fills with milk, instead of letting the game auto milk, youll milk the cow roughly twice as fast
Thanks for the heads up! I did most of that grind while editing the video, so I was looking for the more afk method anyways, but if I have to go back there, it will be good knowledge to have and I think I may just be back there for the next chunk tasks.
I'll be making it a staple on mine because I think it's fun to go through and really inspect the chunks! Sometimes we players miss really cool little things.
@@greysononlyknows isn't varrok already a death chunk? Because you have the runecrafting cape unlocked so now if you get any runecrafting method its straight to 99
Not necessarily. I'm calling Varrock a pending death chunk haha. At this point I have 1 RC so to have to get the cape, I'd have to roll the air altar (or a quest that gives RC xp and then another altar) AND I'd need a chunk that gives access to essence. I'm definitely fearing the eventual 99 RC grind, but I think it's a bit further away then it seems right now...at least I hope xD Hopefully I roll Ourania or GOTR before that happens though lol
@@greysononlyknowsYou can also train rune crafting from level 1 via tiaras, so any altar unlock is a ticking time bomb. But yeah probably ages away even with that
Also definitely true, but then I would also need either a silver stall or silver ore plus a tiara mold and an early game crafting method. But it's definitely a ticking time bomb. I'm going to not think about it for a bit lol I'm getting nervous sweats just thinking about it haha
I'm with others, I've been thinking of an account like this for awhile. Subbed within the first 2 mins of the video and can't wait to see you keep going
Hmmm it's been so long since I started watching his series that I would have forgotten it by now then lol Sounds right for Limpwurt to know that kind of info haha
@@greysononlyknowsdid you guys start playing recently? Back in the day you could not left click ranges. This used to be the way to cook until not long ago.
@@NubeBuster I've actually been playing off and on since classic lol but hard to tell how I was training things as a kid. Don't remember that being the way, but I'll take your word for it!
About ducks: they don't require a specific weapon to attack, normally at least. Like in Falador for the diary task, you can kick the ducks in the eastern pond from at least 4 different tiles. That said, I just checked it out in game by splashing a duck to get it to aggro me: there is not a single tile in your starting chunk you can melee a duck due to issues with the tiles being treated as impassable but permeable obstacles (similar to a fence). This means that without a halberd, it's impossible to kill a duck with melee in that chunk in particular. Keep an eye out for other chunks with ducks where you might be able to melee them or wait until you get your first air rune drop.
Thanks a ton for the research! Really appreciate it! I'll make sure to share this in the next video. Luckily I've already dealt with the ducks now that I have access to range. Weird that the chunk picker gave that as a task even though it's not possible. Maybe it doesn't know that the pond there doesn't allow it since most others do. I had air runes btw, but no mind runes available in that chunk for spellcasting unfortunately.
Technically there is a way for you to kill a duck in your chunk. You could have a friend give you a phoenix crossbow, kill imps for bronze bolts an voila! Duck task completed without ever leaving your chunk.
I love little nostalgic bits from players about what they did in the early days! If I ever roll the Melzar's Maze chunk, that episode is going to be super nostalgia heavy lol
Hahaha well Chunkmen are definitely a dime a dozen nowadays. But at least my is random. Makes it a bit more mysterious at least haha xD But real talk, it's time for you to start your Chunkman Viewer Chunklocked account, where every chunk is locked behind a OneChunk account starting there and you get access when someone starts a new series in that chunk lol
For killing the duck, you can camp the maze random event chests for air runes. Basically don't complete the maze but loot the first chest in the maze and continue looting every 60 seconds until the random event times out. Not sure where to obtain mind runes.
I didn't show too much of it in the video, but I did camp the one chest for pots and a few runes. Unfortunately only the basic elementals are there and mind runes aren't available at all in the chunk as far as I can tell. Still working on figuring the duck part out lol
now this is interesting and i want to see more, but if youre traversing gray chunks to get to your unlocked chunks you should be able to go around that bush in the beginning lol
Thanks! Someone else brought this up in my comments and I have to say I was a bit dumbfounded. I never even thought about that lol Only thing I could foresee is that there may be situations where I get an advantage due to that. For me it's like the locked chunks are loading screens to get to the other area, but getting around that bush would be like a glitch. I'm thinking about it though. That bush doesn't matter so much, but other spots might.
imagine a chunk divided by a wall, how would you determine which side you're allowed to use? Traversing gray chunks to go back and forth does feel odd but arbitrarily picking one half the chunk is also odd so i guess it's just up to you too decide what feels more natural
From your ruleset, it just sounds like you can spend as much time as you want in gray chunks, you just can't interact with anything. Aside from maybe like free boats and gates
I'm looking forward to this series! Though I'm confused if you are doing an extreme or supreme chunk account. Extreme one chunkers don't need to complete drop tables for all mobs or kill every unique mob
Glad to hear you enjoyed! :D I'd say I'm somewhere in the middle. There are several Xtreme chunkers who have this rule. Mountain Man comes to mind of the bat. But there are some Supreme chunker rules that I'm not including. BuzRS had some rules about prayers and spells that I'm not going to follow. With so many slight differences possible in this game mode, it sometimes hard to fit in exactly to one category.
Thanks! Gonna be a wild ride I'm sure! Notmeta and Zalat are the two that seem to have done something similar is what others are telling me. I definitely need to check those series out.
I was curious why no one has attempted this idea before as a chunk man, hopefully you find some interesting grinds and methods. Best of luck on the varrock chunk!
I had also known of the fireplace being used to cook meat, I had used that to train low level pures way back in the day, killing cows/chickens and cooking the meat to have more food.
It seems there have been 2 others that did similar accts. Not sure if they had the same rules/methods as me though, but lot of commenters have mentioned them. But I am definitely finding interesting grinds and methods so far. Thanks for the luck wishes! Also good on you for knowing about and using the fireplace cooking. I was legit shocked to find out that worked when I started this account lol
@@greysononlyknows I also was going to say if you had bronze bolts instead of iron bolts, accounts can drop trade phoenix crossbows to ironmen(does not require shield of arrav quest to my knowledge) so you could have killed the duck in your chunk if you got the bronze bolts from a maze random with the phoenix crossbow. If I remember right, other areas of the game can also be used to cook food, Tekton’s flame that shows up in the chambers of xeric while the fight is going on can be used to cook food. Olm’s flame wall might be able to, but I haven’t tested it.
Thanks so much! We'll the Vareock grinds are a whole other beast to tackle, but I'm already working on it. After that, who knows. Gonna be a fun ride for sure!
Very interesting series. I like the idea of true random. but I’m sorry for your luck looks like you got to do scurrius, briophita and obor if you can get agility gonna be a long chunk
Thanks! I think the random is going to be more fun for everyone, myself included! Luckily, the Varrock Sewers entrance is about 2 tiles out of my chunk, so none of that good stuff for me just yet. :D Woodcutting for days with a bronze axe is what I'm currently on haha xD
The rules seem to imply you can leave your chunks specifically to enter any already unlocked chunks. This should mean you can exit your current chunk and re-enter it from a different location. In the example I saw in the video. You mentioned you could go around the bush but not really. But you should be able without any issues. This for example means you could unlock barbarian fishing by walking out of the chunk around the dragon full helm dungeon and back into the Grotto. But you mentioned that you couldn't do anything out side the chunks like an agility shortcut for example, or anything that gives items or xp. So that sounds fun. There could be some complex things here.
A few others have mentioned the same thing and I honestly didn't think of that while creating the account. I'll be addressing it in the next video, but I think you're all correct in that I should be able to go around things like that bush and access the other side as per my rules. As you said, anything that gives xp or items outside of my chunks won't be allowed though. Going to be very interesting to see how that affects later chunks :D
Like every One Chunk series, I immediately tried to think of the worst possible rolls. And luckily, Prif exists, so here’s hoping Tiranwen is far in your future
Some of the worst ones I've thought of are Lumby for 2 99s, Draynor for 99 smithing, and the Fally park chunk for 99 con with bagged plants. But yeah the worst case scenarios are definitely in my mind. I'm happy in Varrock for now haha
@@greysononlyknows yes. you have a nice concept in your hands, and it's up to you now how you present it. in what flavor do we watchers get to experience your journeys? are they a quarterly report of objectives, a list of possibilities taken, something a little creative, a bit of excitement? i'll be seeing you trying things, i like your idea
I'll do my best to meet your expectations! I had a very different plan for the journey between chunks yesterday morning than I do this morning because of how much attention this video got, but I'm still early in the planning phase anyways. I like to really get creative with those kinds of things normally. :D
It certainly is lol. This video blew my combined 2 years of YT videos before it out of the water and makes me wonder what the algorithm is really looking for lol
The potion item actually does have a 3rd use; it's very very similar to its first use but it can also be a request from the Rowdy Drawf during the Keldagrim Tasks minigame. Not sure why that isn't listed on the potion's wiki page; it is listed on the Keldagrim Tasks page at least Edit: Gunslik can also request it during the minigame
Well dang, gotta love missing info on the wiki lol I was so confused why it was a gauntlet drop because I thought they had no other uses, but now it makes a bit more sense at least. Thanks for the info!
Can i ask how to get chunkpicker pick every new chunk randomnly? Started my own and soon done with first one but havent figured out how to get it pick in random from all chunks. Ty for answers in adcance!
There's 2 ways I saw of doing it. One was to select every chunk that is available, like you said, which is what I went for. The other is to roll chunks on a new map every time, but that's easy to fake, which is why I didn't go with it. If you're doing the same thing, good luck! Lots of death chunks out there!
Neat concept! The only thoughts I had on the format are regarding locked chunks. I think with this format, the long slog going between your unlocked chunks without any methods to train agility seems like an unintended side effect rather than a feature. Fletching isn’t the best example (since you could just fletch and drop unfinished bows and stay within one chunk) but needing to pick flax by seers’ village, run (walk) all the way to Fally to spin it into bow string, and then go all the way to Varrock to bank it would suck. A lot. Perhaps once you have a bank unlocked, allowing the use of any bank while traveling in-between chunks would ease the unintended agony a considerable amount. Maybe you should only allow yourself to deposit items (+ maybe un-note noted items)? Additionally, maybe allowing the unrestricted use of teleports for the sake of travel between chunks would help? Like if you’re able to make necklaces of passage, those teleports could get you between your needed chunks a lot faster than just walking the whole way. Lastly, getting something to do between chunks (like fletching or alching) would be great! Just when you unlock those things, of course Honestly many people would probably disagree with these ideas, but I think it would be best to minimize time spent walking between unlocked chunks and to maximize the amount of time actually doing the content in your chunks!
Thanks! I definitely get where you are coming from with the first idea. I think a good example at the moment would be mining/smithing. If I unlock a furnace a long ways away with no bank and also ores, I'd have to do a lot of running around for minimal xp gain. I'll approach that bridge if and when I get there I think. Hopefully it doesn't come up, but it may. Only RNJesus knows lol As for the second and third ideas, I see no problem with either of those and I think you make very good points! If I unlock a games necklace and can use it to teleport somewhere close to my unlocked chunks, then I'll definitely use those. No reason not to. And if I have alchs or something to do while running between chunks, I'll definitely do that too. Appreciate the feedback and ideas! :D
There's an older series that hasn't been updated in about a year with this concept of random rolling - @notmetaosrs Wizard's Tower for anyone interested. Excited to see another random account though, I like the feeling of not knowing what will come next :)
I'll have to check it out! I did some searching before starting this account and didn't find much in the way of random chunk rolling, but maybe I used the wrong key words. Glad to hear you're excited for the series! Been a lot of fun for me so far! More coming soon. :D
You're also right on this. Other commenters have mentioned 2 other accounts that are similar. Didn't find them in my searching and that's why I thought I was the first. But thanks! I'll need the luck for sure to avoid certain chunks from here haha
Really good question! So that was a thing I went back and forth on tbh. Eventually I settled on not including the chunks that are locked behind quests such as Morytania/Kourend/Priff/Varlamore. I think it will be a much bigger deal in the future when I'm finally able to complete X Marks the Spot or Priest in Peril if the completion opens up a massive area to bring into my available chunks. Also completing quests in chunks I haven't unlocked didn't feel right to me. I didn't go over this in episode 1 because I didn't want to throw even more information at people than I already did. I'll be going deeper into before the next chunk roll, which will most likely be episode 3.
@@greysononlyknows Thank you for the thorough response. I agree with you i think it will be for thr best if those chunks are rollable post quest completion naturally.
Of course! You asked a great question, so I wanted to make sure to answer as well as I could. Glad to hear some agreement on it. It was a big debate for me, but it just feels much better this way.
Great video! From a story telling perspective it felt like an odd choice that you didn't explain how to cook meat before your awesome song montage which feature a lot of cooked meat! Was worried it would never get explained.
Thanks so much! Yeah I can see where it was a bit of an odd choice, but I saw that song montage as a summary of what I was doing in the chunk. I also picked up cabbages in it and killed imps, which I hadn't done yet to that point. Guess it was a bit of a teaser for what's to come. And don't worry, I'd never show something and not explain it haha
They do indeed. But Fally guards are not technically in my chunk. They sometimes wander into it, but they don't spawn there. Same as in my new chunk. There are muggers and a thief that wander in, but they aren't a chunk task because they don't spawn there.
Looks awesome. I have been doing a similar chunk account since July (ChunkRandy, code KLOK) but not making a series. I don't travel to previous chunks, only if I roll an adjacent chunk. Currently working on shark fishing/cooking in east Catherby. Good luck on future rolls ❤
Thanks so much and thanks for the good luck wish! Awesome to hear that someone else has tried something similar to this! How has your luck been on rolls? Shark fishing/cooking in Catherby sounds like a nice grind honestly. Slow, but good for the food supply.
My luck has actually been crazy good. My toughest chunk so far was the giant's den in kourend. Had to get rune scimitar from fire giants, rune kite from shazien sergeants as well as curved and long bones without any source of food. I spent about 4 hours picking up big bones and burying for 43 prayer and flicked prayer for the kills. Got everything under rate
(also, I noticed you don't have Great Kourend rollable. Is there a reason for that or is it due to the common misconception that you can only go there after X marks the spot?)
Yeah that's exactly what happened lol A few others have commented on it as well and I'll be fixing it in the next episode. I think the problem is the X Marks the Spot makes you think that Veos only shows up in Port Sarim after the quest. The wiki explanation doesn't help much either. Basically like you said, I didn't know think you could go there until after the quest so I locked it off.
What’s the plan with chunks rolled that are locked behind quests? Like if you roll Canafis next obviously can’t get their without priest in peril. Would the whole chunk just be back logged until the required quests are completed?
So I'll be mentioning this in the second video. Didn't want to stuff even more info into the first video, but basically any quest locked chunks will require me to complete said chunk before being able to roll those chunks. Feels like a really good reward for finally completing those quests. Going to unfortunately be a while before Morytania or Prif is rollable though haha
Hahaha now that's a comment I like to see. I hope you mean my wonderful bluegrass song. Took inspiration from my Appalachian roots for that one lol just wish my singing was better 😂
ADMIT it, you made this banger 13:17 and then you decided to theorycraft a whole random chunk man around it... 😂 But for real, interesting concept and start to a series. Looking forward to see more!
Hahaha 😆 now that's funny. With my terrible singing skills I'd have to have some huge ones to go about it that way. 😂 but thanks! Glad to have you along for the series. Expect more songs in the future! Just gotta figure out what kinda music is appropriate for Varrock now lol
That'll be covered in the next video. I didn't want to put too much info in the first episode since there was already enough with all the rules and such. Basically if they are quest locked, I won't be rolling them until I can do the quest and then all those chunks will be added in. Feels right that way. Otherwise Im doing quests in locked chunks just to get to an unlocked chunk and I didn't like that.
I like watching one chunks and wanted to try it and decided on the same ruleset as you (i was going to do quest unlocked once you could start them if you had a way to get the stats/non quest unique items in your unlocked chunks) since never seen it before got as far as creating the account so glad someone else is giving it a rry really intrested to see how it turns out
Glad you enjoyed! Make sure to let me know how your account progresses! I'd love to compare where we end up haha
Varrock Center was my starter chunk when I did this! Good Luck! hopefully you won't need to pickpocket as many men as I did
Good luck!
Very interesting concept! I've watched a lot of Onechunks and will be watching this with interest. Good luck!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed so much. It's definitely going to be an interesting time haha
good stuff, thanks for making! i will watch every vid
Glad you enjoyed it so much!! Thanks! 😁
excited for this series. loved the first episode. you gained a sub.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it so far :D
I definitely know that walls will arise and I'm trying my best to gameplan for them now so that they don't stop me. Skillcapes are the big one at the moment, especially with a 99RC grind looking very imminent at the moment.
Really excited for this series. Also, you've got a nice sense of humor. I liked your lil song. :)
Thanks so much! Glad to hear you liked it. The song just felt right for that area...just wish my singing was better lol
@@greysononlyknows Hey, not many people can drop their voice that low! 😊 And you had the confidence to put it on TH-cam for all to hear, that counts for a lot.
That's the kind of positive encouragement we need on the internet! Haha. I really enjoyed making it, so there may be more to come.
Very interested in this idea. Hope the series continues smoothly, excited to watch more!
Thanks! :D I'm enjoying the grinds atm. If I land a rough 99, that may throw in a few wrinkles, but it's smooth sailing for now!
Awesome idea that I’m really surprise nobody has done before. Loving the commentary so far so keep it up man!
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it! :D Seems like there actually are a few others who have done similar concepts. Other commenters mentioned Zalat as one and another, but it sounds like there haven't been many uploads. I never saw those when looking for other accounts doing this.
Fantastic first episode! So excited for another chunk account to watch. Big hype for the varrock grinds!
Thanks so much! :D Glad you enjoyed!!
Gotta love new chunk ideas. Randomized chunks! Can't wait
Glad you like the idea! It's only going to get more interesting from here. :D
I’m so locked in for this series - good luck, man!
Thanks! Glad to have you along for the series! Going to be very chaotic down the line I think haha
I wish we'd see more of this roll ruleset! I know you've heard a couple names for other random-roll series, but I thought I'd toss in the few that I can remember:
notmeta osrs: xtreme, picked wizard tower to start, first to use the concept AFAIK
zalat: semi-xtreme, rolled varlamore bazaar to start
RNGchunk: vanilla, rolled ge to start with bank
Of those, there's a fair chance that zalat is the only one still active.
RNGchunk also has some extra rules around the consequences of the mode that will be valuable to think about if you haven't already (rip me if you cover this in the video). In particular:
For the record, raking content was one of the best parts of Verf's Karamja Only.
You're correct! I'll be covering this in the next video since others have mentioned it as well. Stay tuned for that! Hope you enjoyed the video!
So pumped to watch this series. Was hoping someone would do this!
Thanks so much! Glad to have you along for the journey!!
Just found one you, and even tho this is a common thing now, just this one was unique with the random. I wish you all the good luck!
Thanks so much! :D Really glad you enjoyed! More coming soon.
Awesome !! Good Luck :D
Thanks so much! Currently watching your relaxed chunk series btw. Sounds interesting and aptly named. I like it. :D
Love the idea, will be following the series
Thanks! Glad to have you along for the series!
That “did you know?” Gave me ptsd from vaporeon. Iykyk
Oh I know what you're referring to lol xD
Looking forward to this series!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed so far! :D
Ive never caught one of these as they were starting before, im pumped! You have a wonderful voice ❤

Cabbage seed from picking cabbages, happens randomly. And there is a fireplace that can be used to cook on in Sarah's house
Correct and correct!
I have been considering this idea for a couple weeks lol. Looks like I will be following in your footsteps soon enough my friend.
Good luck!
Thanks! Glad to hear I won't be the only one on this journey. If you get a video of it out, let me know and I'll definitely check it out!
Love the idea, glad someone is doing this :)
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed! :D
Hell yeah new chunk series
Hell yeah indeed! If even Leroy Jenkins is excited, then I've done well.
Oh cool man! Welcome and I'm excited to see how you do!
Comment, like, sub, belled. 👌
Thanks dude! Really glad you enjoyed so far. More coming soon! :D
Overall a really fun video so far! I hope you continue with this!
Thanks for the backlogging tip! I'll have to try that out a bit. I k ew you could get more info by clicking on it, but didn't know it would give more info if you backlog it. Unfortunately the duck task gives me nothing useful if I click on it :(
I'll definitely be continuing this for a while, so watch out for more!
@@greysononlyknows Yes, potential tasks, NPC's, Monsters, interactable objects ("features"), item spawns etc.
Thanks for the heads up!
Brilliant idea, this will be a very interesting series
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed so far!
Rolls a bank! pog
Hahaha indeed. That was some clutch RNG. On the other side of things though, there's now the potential for a 99rc grind in the near future... :O
Love the random chunk concept. All hail RNJesus! Zalat has a similar series but he hasn’t posted in months. Hope you stick with it!
I'll have to check out that series and see how it compares. Glad you like the concept! My entire series is all up to RNJesus now for sure. Varrock was an interesting curveball to throw me this early haha
Really good video! Can't wait for more content
Thanks a ton! Glad you enjoyed!
Amazing concept, looking forward to seeing the series progress. Best of luck! Btw what music did you use for the falador farm chunk @ 2:12? Sounds amazing
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed so far! :D
The song is called Mine All Mine and it's a copyright free song I came across when searching for some bluegrass themed music. Here's a link if you want it!

Awesome video! Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much! I'll do my best 💪
This will be a banger series, looking forward for it 😄
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed. More coming soon. 😁
heres a fun fact for you, when milking a cow, if you click on the cow immediately whenever a bucket fills with milk, instead of letting the game auto milk, youll milk the cow roughly twice as fast
Thanks for the heads up! I did most of that grind while editing the video, so I was looking for the more afk method anyways, but if I have to go back there, it will be good knowledge to have and I think I may just be back there for the next chunk tasks.
Great video!! Great luck man subscribed
Thanks so much! Glad to have you along for the series!
Love the chill chunk review, i kinda miss that on some other chunk accounts
I'll be making it a staple on mine because I think it's fun to go through and really inspect the chunks! Sometimes we players miss really cool little things.
death chunks, death chunks everywhere. good luck on your rolls bro
That's the thrilling part of this account for sure. Who knows when the first death chunk will come for me haha
I'm definitely fearing the eventual 99 RC grind, but I think it's a bit further away then it seems right now...at least I hope xD
Hopefully I roll Ourania or GOTR before that happens though lol
@@greysononlyknowsYou can also train rune crafting from level 1 via tiaras, so any altar unlock is a ticking time bomb. But yeah probably ages away even with that
Also definitely true, but then I would also need either a silver stall or silver ore plus a tiara mold and an early game crafting method. But it's definitely a ticking time bomb. I'm going to not think about it for a bit lol I'm getting nervous sweats just thinking about it haha
This is gonna be interesting. Curious to see what chunks you roll and what the first quest you can do will be!
Same! It's definitely going to be a crazy time. Who knows what will happen lol
I'm with others, I've been thinking of an account like this for awhile. Subbed within the first 2 mins of the video and can't wait to see you keep going
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the first episode! More coming soon :D
You should definitely give it a try. It's been really fun so far!
Someone who sings instead of using Suno AI, instant sub
Glad my terrible singing skills didn't scare you away! Haha
Very interested to see where this one goes, great concept
Thanks so much! Glad to have you for the series. It's only going to get more interesting from here haha
The fireplace in Sarah's house for cooking 😊 Looking forward to following the series!
Indeed it is! Crazy that you knew that! 😳 you must have some onechunk experience. Glad to have you along for the journey!
@@greysononlyknows limpwurt pointed the fireplace cooking in one of his very first videos.
🎶South fally farm 🎶 Banger!
Glad you enjoyed and my terrible singing didn't scare you off haha
Technically there is a way for you to kill a duck in your chunk. You could have a friend give you a phoenix crossbow, kill imps for bronze bolts an voila! Duck task completed without ever leaving your chunk.
You are correct, that could work! But I don't want to use the phoenix crossbow. Feels a bit wrong to me.
In the early days of rs I trained on the farm to get 40 att and def and cooked all the meat on the fireplace!
I love little nostalgic bits from players about what they did in the early days! If I ever roll the Melzar's Maze chunk, that episode is going to be super nostalgia heavy lol
Goodluck, seems great already
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed!
Grayson this video blew up! Solid job man!
Thanks a bunch dude! Yeah, it blew up out of nowhere. Been an absolutely crazy ride the last 2 days. :D Hope you're doing well man!
Oh look another Chunkman... I guess I'll add him to my list. I've so many to follow now, feel like I've unlocked every chunk at this point.
Hahaha well Chunkmen are definitely a dime a dozen nowadays. But at least my is random. Makes it a bit more mysterious at least haha xD
But real talk, it's time for you to start your Chunkman Viewer Chunklocked account, where every chunk is locked behind a OneChunk account starting there and you get access when someone starts a new series in that chunk lol
I never even thought about that lol
Only thing I could foresee is that there may be situations where I get an advantage due to that.
Hmmm also a very good point. I will say it does seem a bit arbitrary that way.
From your ruleset, it just sounds like you can spend as much time as you want in gray chunks, you just can't interact with anything. Aside from maybe like free boats and gates
Basically! I've made the change so it will show up in the next video! :D
I'm looking forward to this series! Though I'm confused if you are doing an extreme or supreme chunk account. Extreme one chunkers don't need to complete drop tables for all mobs or kill every unique mob
Glad to hear you enjoyed! :D
I'd say I'm somewhere in the middle.
Looking forward to the next episode!
Hell yeah! :D
reminds me of notmeta osrs who was also rolling his chunks randomly :D super excited to see where this one goes
Yo if Olms flame wall can be used to cook food that is mad wild lol. Someone needs to test that immediately haha
i thought about doing this myself but i didnt, its cool to see someone attempt it!
Glad you enjoyed! If you were thinking about, give it a try and see how you like it. I'm really enjoying it so far.
@ i dont have time rn as im doing my regular chunker
Fair enough. One account is enough usually lol
Cool idea! Can't wait to see where you go from here 😃🤔
Thanks so much! We'll the Vareock grinds are a whole other beast to tackle, but I'm already working on it. After that, who knows. Gonna be a fun ride for sure!
A random chunk ironman with a south falador farm start? Didnt think i needed something like this but its golden! Great video! Loved the song.
Thanks so much! Glad my terrible singing didn't ruin the song! More of this series is coming soon, so stay tuned!
@@greysononlyknowsyou already got me hooked
Hell yeah!
I cant wait for how the comfy walking journeys between tasks roll out
You mean the journey from the farm to Varrock for example? :D
@@greysononlyknows for sure, it is never our show but the creator's :D good luck out there, i hear the algorithm is a special kind of hell
Not sure why that isn't listed on the potion's wiki page; it is listed on the Keldagrim Tasks page at least
Edit: Gunslik can also request it during the minigame
Well dang, gotta love missing info on the wiki lol I was so confused why it was a gauntlet drop because I thought they had no other uses, but now it makes a bit more sense at least. Thanks for the info!
u got my sub! keep it up browski
Thanks dude! Much appreciated! More coming soon :D
Can i ask how to get chunkpicker pick every new chunk randomnly? Started my own and soon done with first one but havent figured out how to get it pick in random from all chunks. Ty for answers in adcance!
Ah okay! It seems you must click all the chunk yourself to be available... or am i wrong?
There's 2 ways I saw of doing it. One was to select every chunk that is available, like you said, which is what I went for. The other is to roll chunks on a new map every time, but that's easy to fake, which is why I didn't go with it.
If you're doing the same thing, good luck! Lots of death chunks out there!
@@greysononlyknows okay. Yes first chunk is soon done. So soon is time to do some clicly things in the map xD
Good luck! Let me know where you are heading next!
Just when you unlock those things, of course
Honestly many people would probably disagree with these ideas, but I think it would be best to minimize time spent walking between unlocked chunks and to maximize the amount of time actually doing the content in your chunks!
Only RNJesus knows lol
As for the second and third ideas, I see no problem with either of those and I think you make very good points!
Definitely not the first random chunker but gl my dude
Fireplace in house to cook and seeds from picking cabbage in field
You're definitely right on both of these. Nice!
You're also right on this. Other commenters have mentioned 2 other accounts that are similar. Didn't find them in my searching and that's why I thought I was the first. But thanks! I'll need the luck for sure to avoid certain chunks from here haha
How will u deal with chunks you can't reach due to quest read example mory/priff
W
Hell yeah! Glad you enjoyed!
Pick cabbage for the seeds and you can use the fire in Sarah's shop.
Yep! Crazy how many people know these things lol I had no idea when I started haha
Cooking steak in your fireplace... sounds like something I could imagine Asmongold admitting to...
Hahaha I'm sure quite a few people have done it at some point. Wouldn't be surprised if Asmongold was among them xD
Man, that guitar at the beginning sounds excellent! I wonder who played it. Maybe it's that one guy they call Olive Garden...
Coulda been him, but idk... When was the last time that guy even ate Olive Garden is the real question we need an answer to.
So fally guards do not drop seeds like ''snapegrass'' or ''watermelons'' which you could have grown...
Dang! That sounds like a hell chunk for sure lol Good on you for pushing through!
*screamo* IRRONN DAGGERRRRRRRR *flowers and sparkles* butter and cream!!
Hahahahaha now THAT would have been epic to put over the speed metal. I wish I had thought of that lol 😆
Subscribed for the music.
But for real, interesting concept and start to a series.
Use the compost on the farm patches for farming xp
Indeed. I'll be doing that every time I head back to the farm.
the cow killing season at the end had me think i was watching a 07 pk vid. Then the instant swap to the butter 🤣
I laughed quite a lot at that transition myself while editing. Glad you liked it hahaha
This one is a banger
Thanks!! Glad you enjoyed.
What if you unlock an area that requires you to complete a quest to enter? Like priffdinnas or varlamore
