But luckily once you find somebody able to sell you this, he gives you for free things like goat head or cowleg they dispose here... so you just buy a bottle of vodka for the butcher to have free cowleg or goathead or kpomo for like a few months... then you renew your contract :D Anyways sha... I like your channel, you fit your kitchen hehe... I greet o. :)

you cook the brain in a nylon bag then pound it with the pepper ... isiewu doesn't need all that thyme and ginger ...moreso utazi and nchanwu leaves are both combined for great taste ... give it a try...good work!!! cheers bro
Never eaten Nigerian cuisine, but looks great, as I love your base ingredients you use (such as cows foot etc). only one little thing: you could avoid using the knorr cubes (with the salty artificial flavor) and instead brown the meat before cooking it (a little oil on very hot pan. 3-4 minutes on each side). it would add the deep flavor you are looking for in chicken powder/knorr cubes without the salty/artificial taste.
Every African food is incomplete without knorr cubes, it's what makes African dishes unique and different from other cuisines from around the world. We love that salty taste.
I would like to eat in your restaurant whenever I visit England because you are the best Nigerian cook I know and I cooked your Ayamase soup recipe last week, it turns wonderful. Where is your restaurant located in London? Thanks for all you do.
Golden Jewel... Thanks for your comment . I understand your point. I like keeping things minimal in my videos so viewer can enjoy the friendly combination of all the ingredient in their meal. Calabash nutmeg has a very strong flavour and can be overpowering if more is applied as you have suggested. Moreso, with the soaked bitter Utazi leaves added to the meal, you want a balance of rich-full taste in your mouth when you eat it.Once again, very grateful for leaving your comment.

Cook d brain tied in a nylon alone side with d goat. Bring it down pound it well season it and pouring d cooked season goat heat and stair. Season to ur taste. Hope this helps.

Mariam Konate The food itself is called "Isi ewu" because of the goat head. Try use sheep head instead as it has similar flavour.If not, use goat meat following the process, I am sure you will enjoy it. Please keep me posted.
Well done u for this vedio. I could hug u right now if I could only see u. Now. I know where my mistake came from. Having watched how to cook this on another posted vedio (the type that u just follow what they do ; no audio), I ended up with a disaster Isi ewu twice. U don't want to imagine the mockery from my husband. I'll tell u what u did differently. All the mixing that u did in d pot on the table top from the palm oil to d leaves was done on fire in that vedio. Although d end result appeared nice but mine was a disaster. I can't wait to try it ur way as hubby loves it and we have to go and eat out at £20 per plate if the craving descend on us. Please could u advice where u got d calabash nutmeg from cos dats new (wasn't used in d vedio I watched) and also the goat head. Which market to be precise (hope to God u r in London) . The reason is that I end up with boney goat heads but urs is just sooo fleshy Pls advice. Many thanks!
