Sweet heck thank you for actually showing in focus video of the prints with proper lighting to show defects, unlike 90% of reviews. My only critique would be to please get a more stable surface so they aren't moving around so much. K2 Plus print quality looks okay, but far from perfect. I'm sure there is some tuning and slicer settings room there. Always amazing how good the A1 and A1 Mini print quality are. I think the extruder on those printers shines. The Ender 3 V3 quality was surprisingly good too. Good stuff.

Thank you! And I was filming this while the K2 was printing on the table so it caused the wobbles. The K2 keeps getting firmware updates so I will have to keep checking and make a follow-up if I see substantial improvements
That 0.2mm test print 350x350mm is impressive! That is 0.007 in inches! It shows Creality has their bed leveling software dialed. I think this printers biggest positives are its huge print size at 350mm square, and its heated bed and heated chamber and multiple fans cooling from multiple angles make it the best to be able to print in all the new materials that seem to keep coming forward. Great Review.
These speed tests are great, and the surface quality is excellent. Can the K2 Plus go any faster? Could you do a comparison on the FLSUN T1 Pro? I've heard it's very fast.
Yes the K2, and all the other printers can go faster. The manufacturers always release a specially tuned Benchy to reach some crazy speeds, but the default speed will give the highest print reliability. I think I might be getting a FLSun T1 soon so I can test out the speeds
Curious to see how the Creality K2 stacks up against the QIDI Plus4 in print quality! Also, I’m really intrigued by the K2 Plus’s all-aluminum enclosure-does it actually hold a consistent 60°C chamber temp during printing? Not a fan of the chamber heater outlet being placed higher up, though. Bottom positioning would make more sense for optimal heat distribution.
Wouldn't a cubic volume with sides of 350mm have a much larger volume than the 350mm^3 shown on-screen? Unless you meant (350mm)^3, in which case I apologize
If they do two or three more models, that actually work, keep being supported and stand the test of time I may consider another Creality printer. They just got so much bs to make up, I will remain sceptical for the time being..

I think the upgrade kit will need to change out the hotend, so hopefully we will get some big gains. I hope they can get that figured out at a reasonable price point

There is a cool hack for the Voron and SV08 that allows up to six quick swap print heads. Interesting review but you should more focus on comparison of that printer vs Bambu X1C as this one is a clear rip off of Bambu (especially ams just renamed and with few upgrades) just with few extras like heated chamber and bigger volume. I own few Bambu printers and my 17 min benchy never looked that bad with so visible lines no matter what lighting I pointed at print. Also after owning K1 for a month their slicer is limited, not user friendly and likes to crash for no reason especially on bigger files. The company's 18,000RMB of creality D3 is not as good as the 2500RMB of my home's bambu A1 in China. Whether it is price, printing speed, printing quality... D3 can only be single-colour, A1 can print 4 colours.
Still cheaper than the only other CoreXYs with the same print volume on the market (Prusa XL, Voron 350, Rat Rig V-Core 4.0), but it's a Creality so it's probably got nonexistent quality control and after-sales support is gonna suck.

Not impressed by the print quality on the K2, the A1 was clearly the winner. Disappointed to see that they copied the Bambu AMS and it's problems with cardboard spools (the Elegoo one seem to get bent in shipping all the time). So, I'm still waiting for a larger than 250mm printer that just works.
There will be a bigger Bambu Lab for sure. Creality probably wanted to launch their model on the market first. But I no longer fall for new Creality products, my experience with the K1 was enough for me. It took many months and upgrades before the device had reasonably good print quality. But I still have complete failures from time to time. My cheap A1 just prints away and hasn't caused any trouble so far.
But a p1s or x1 is the comparison tho.... its a bit unfair tbh
K2 plus Seems to be lacking The quality that it should have, all the videos show it having issues with quality.
Nathan builds robots pretty much said it was perfect. But then again he is a creality shill so..., got the first creality bambu clone way before anyone else.
@ anyone that gets something for free will usually say something positive no matter what, it is well visible that the layer lines are no where near perfect as it should be, hopefully when mine arrives if it does I will be proven wrong.
Nice add!
Close your eyes, and it’s like listening to the lock picking lawyer 😊
Where is the K1 Max in a Speed test? K1C is older than the K1 Max. I would like to see the comparison and if The new K2 is worth the investment?
The K1C came out after the K1 Max, but I am planning on doing more print comparisons with other printers I have
Really every first experience video is the same 🤣 we will wait a while for the first real experience and comparison videos. So far the K2 doesn't convince me. cms doesn't look right. the only plus is the construction volume.
I’m yet to see a true review on this printer, the ones out now are just people creality sent a free printer, therefore they are bound to speak only positive about the product. For me it’s kind frustrating that every TH-camr is being bought by big companies.
quality is real bad, pass
lol l'interface, c'est bambulab
That print quality is pretty rough!
Omg you have too many commercials
Really? You are talking about the 300 x 300 bed in millimeters. And then you think you can talk about the machine size in foots? Lol oh man. Maybe your cavemen usonian viewers can get that, but you left the rest of the world thinking WTF??
Unfortunately a lot of tape measures here in the US are only in feet and inches. I need to find a metric tape measure, that would be awesome!
@@JJShankles Weird! Every tape measure I know has both inches and metric.
it's a terrible printer, keeps breaking down, major fan issues and no customer service. This guy just says its good because he got it for free
x1c
wow even my speed benchy has way better quality than this , and only takes about 16 mins compare to this 50 mins...........on my a1 mini that only cost about 220USD......
The A1 took 59 minutes to print the Cat and Benchy. The A1 mini takes 1 hour and 1 minute to print this combo
overpriced
What’s your relationship with Elon Musk
hopefully nonexistent lol
INCHES... Nobody measures in mm
I have a k1c and my benchy was way better. Not sure why your benchies are so bad.
Bambu lab is better
Why?
@@CullenJWebb it´s cheaper. with $1500 I get 2 p1s combo or a X1C combo + A1.
Bambu is only 256x256
And for a lot of people, me included. That is just way to small..
If bambu could come up with a competitor you would probably have a point. But rightnow this is the best option for a big all in one printer that isn't a voron
@@blikje_in_de_water I don’t think the majority of people needs that much space in exchange of trashy quality lol
@@blikje_in_de_water Yeah I'm on the fence between this or a 350 voron with ercf/boxturtle mmu. Kipper can be a pain
