      I’m pretty confused about that at that moment, I have a lot more mics than when I made this video, a month or so ago. It’s still hard to go past the Rode Video Micro and the Deity D4 mini. I really need to use an “in shot” mic most of the time to deal with the noise from the kids, I have a few I’m testing out now.

    Hi Mark! Again, thank you for sharing your knowledge you are always so helpful! QQ... I am working on creating crafting videos... I tend to be leaning forward a lot, for cutting fabric, ironing, sitting at the sewing machine. What would be your recommendation for a Microphone set up? I might be anywhere 1-5 feet from the camera and microphone. I have an M50 EOS MII. I set the settings to manual on the camera, and it seems pretty low volume, so I've adjusted it recording level to halfway between 12 and the last tic-mark on the right. Still seems low. I am using a Movo PXR10 pro. Thank you again!!!

    • @markwiemels
      @markwiemels  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A couple of things. First you may just need to boost the volume of the audio in editing, which is a normal thing, I do this in every video. The other thing is, if are moving around a lot, you are probably better off with the wireless microphone and lapel mic, as the microphone moves with you.

    Great informative video. Question. I bought the Canon M50 accessory kit for my new M50, which has the AC power adapter from Canon. But when I use the AC adapter I get a buzzing humm sound on my videos audio. I use a wired lapel mic. Any suggestions? Would a shotgun mic do away with the noise? Thanks

    How do you hook up a wireless lav mic for live streaming on zoom using an Apple MacBook Pro (Catalina OS) and a Canon EOS M50 Mark ii as the web cam. I have the camera all hooked up & working but the audio is still being routed through the factory on board computer microphone. I can’t get it to go through my wireless mic.
    I have a Movo WMX-1-Duo wireless lav mic. Do you have any videos or advise on how to properly set this up?
    I would like a better quality audio for hosting meetings live online using zoom but can’t seem to figure out how to do this. Please help!

    • @markwiemels

      You just need to use a TRS to TRRS cable to connect to the headphone jack of the computer, then select the headphones/external mic for your mic input.
