Im so sorry, I misspoke during the JPEG image quality segment. S2 is the lowest quality, and the highest quality is the furthest option to the left (L with the smooth curve).
Ok sorry to say i only got 2 mins in before i decided this wasnt watching any more. That gaffe with the jpeg S2 followed by incorrrct cRAW info meant you came across as an unreliable source of information. Learn about things before you start trying to explain or teach others. For what its worth as you didnt seem to know much about it; cRAW is just compressed raw format, no loss of quality nor data, just more efficient way of arranging the 0&1s.
I GOT PAID TO SHOOT HIGH QUALITY PICS AT A WEDDING. I SHOT IN S2 AS YOU SAID THAT WAS THE HIGHEST. THE PICTURES SUCKKKEDDDD I GOT FIREDDDD THANKS MORONNNNNNN
Thank God for you, I've had this camera for two years and I had not the slightest clue how to operate it! I definitely appreciate every second of your time!
I just wanna say that this has been one of the best tutorials I have seen. You took your time and you where very easy to understand. Comming from a phone camera to to this has been confsuing to say the least. Before this my photos and videos looked like garbage. After watching this video I have had amazing image quality. Thank you so much!
You are amazing. 🙏🏻 Thank you for the detailed tutorial. I am using canon m50 and for the first time I setup it correctly and the output quality is totally good. I been using it in Auto mode all these time. ❤
I made it through the whole video too! If it wasn't already mentioned, I have the Mark II version, and settings are a little bit different. Just maybe worth mentioning also!
This is a very informative helpful video. Much easier to follow than the Canon instructions online. Well done and thank you for taking the time to help us amateurs.
Great video. I watched it all on 2x and it was well worth it to get more info on my M50 Mark II. I got the camera set up now and will test it. Thanks for putting this out there.
Major thanks for this video I am looking into buying a used M50 as a main camera to use for still photography... I own a cinema camera but as far as still photos I still have an older Rebel T3i... definitely like the functionality that I've seen of the M50 this video is extremely helpful to learn more about the quality of photos and video you can get from that camera
According to the manual, RAW and CRAW have identical resolution. The difference is that CRAW is compressed. L, M, S, and S2 have to do with JPEG with L having the same resolution as RAW and S2 having the lowest resolution. Compression allows the camera to store more raw images and also to take more images in a burst. However, compression is potentially lossy. The native sensor aspect ratio is 3:2 with all other aspect ratios cropping the sensor. The camera has a 24 MegaPixel sensor.
this guy does a really REALLY good job repeating stuff. i mean hats off to you for being so in depth but man i had to skip through a lot of this video. i feel like this could have been a 10-15 minute video if you just stated things once instead of 5 times. regardless was still a very helpful video so thanks.
I will be using the M50 Mark II in a photo booth for still images. Is the setting under video that keep the screen on going to prevent the camera from going to sleep in photo mode? I am using a battery eliminator for power. Thanks! Great tutorial.
Wow! What an exccellent video I learned so much. Thank you! How do you set the camera for video so it is focused on you rather than the wall across the roo?. Like a selfie.
Beyond the crop 24fps isnt a great choice for youtube. TH-cam displays 30fps and so do most modern TVs. This means its going to interpolate to add the frames, youre missing 25% of the images needed. Any of my cameras that have a 60fps option they never leave it. Its a rare day I know I need slow motion or want it when shooting, I export everything at 30fps.
Ohhhhh😂😂😂😂😂 You have confused L= large (24 MP) M=medium (11 MP) S=small (5.6 MP) Bro please do some research before making video, please. Because if amature saw this video he thought this was true. If he didn't realises, it's the terrible mistake that he makes in his photography career just like you. Don't misunderstand me, because of you I came to know about canon eos M big fan bro.

You are amazing. 🙏🏻 Thank you for the detailed tutorial. I am using canon m50 and for the first time I setup it correctly and the output quality is totally good. I been using it in Auto mode all these time. ❤
I just wanted to say thank you, man! I just got the 16-35 mm lens and the adaptor because of your review.
An excellent primer on the M50. Clear, patient, no geek-speak. Each step laid out nicely; a model instructional. Very well done, and not too long.
I just brought this camera yesterday and this video was actually very helpful ngl!!

The tutorial was great and high quality sound and images. The only thing missing is timestamps for each of the pages of the menu.
Agreed! That would really help but it is a good video
How did you get eye detection to work alongside servo af? My M50 won't let me do that, does that setting depend on what lens you have on it?

is it possible that L M and S mean something like large, medium and small? Since the megapixels and the size of the image gets smaller at L?
correct

S2 is the highest jpeg quality???
Nope
Right to the end lol
How about M50 mark ii
This should all be almost identical with the Mark ii :)
@@FoxTailWhipz okay thanks
S2 is the LOWEST quality jpeg, not highest
Ohhhhh😂😂😂😂😂
You have confused
L= large (24 MP)
M=medium (11 MP)
S=small (5.6 MP)
