I have a cabin up in the mountains in duck Creek Village Utah. They don't do a good job of grooming the snowmobile trails they don't groom them very much. What if I want my own personal snow cat just for going out grooming the trails may be a little adventure here and there. Nothing big commercialized. What options are there for a brand new one. Thanks for your videos they're awesome
Thanks so much! Hmm, they do make PB 100s and a couple other small cats, but they are super pricey.. One neighbor has some sort of Asian snowcat, but I still haven't gotten the make/model of it, unfortunately. I really don't have that much info, sorry! But I really appreciate you tuning in!! More videos will be coming soon!
Regarding that Pistenbully blade jerkiness, if you can't figure something out with the electric speed of the blade valve, you can always add a mechanical restrictor on the hydraulic side. Drill and tap an inline restrictor for the hydraulic cylinder hose.
Basically, the person who made the videos decided to go in another direction with it and took them down. We'll see what the future holds though! I'm hoping to film a lot this winter, and there may be content from channels besides mine.. But I don't know. In any case, thanks a bunch for watching!!
@SamLovesCars34 sure, well apparently there's at least 1 way. Look up Jeremy Renner run over by snowcat. I'm thinking he left it in gear somehow and hopped out. Something weird happened for sure

Those thingies make an impression in the snow for Nordic skiing. I really have no clue what that is, and google results were confusing. Haha! Thanks so much for watching!!
Basically no, unless someone's adorable dog paws the controls and comes after you.. Which apparently is a major problem, so people don't leave their dogs inside alone. They do have basic safety features, and the recent event involving a celebrity is pretty strange. It's pretty hard to get hurt by these, generally. Thanks so much for watching!!
.... IMO, Pistinbully is the best in the game when it comes to reliability, longevity, durability... If properly maintained they will last a VERY long time with no issues year after year.... The larger ones are absolutely unstoppable...
Thanks so much for the support! Basically, the person who was doing their channel decided to go in a different direction.. I'm hoping to crank out a lot of videos this winter though!! More coming soon!
Drop the blade, use curl with chains attached to the front axle in an equalized system then roll that damn “grease tensioner” to 70 ftlb on the nut. How I’ve tensioned every BR400 to bison pre stage 3 hydro tensioner. Works perfect, track pop is better than rips 🤙🤙
Thanks for the info! I mentioned it to Stu and he was intrigued, and basically said, now that he has a nice cordless impact, it'll be an easy enough job. Not sure exactly what he's doing, and in my newest video the tracks are still rather loose, but he's getting to it soon. Thanks so much for watching!!
This one must be kept, haha! Apparently they're difficult to locate, and their size makes them the most practical cat ever... Thanks a bunch for watching!! More coming soon
Yep I do apologize! During this video, I was using a terrible external mic, which somehow never worked well. I've since switched to something else, and it's better. Thanks for tuning in!!
The best time of the year has arrived
Yes! Thanks for your ongoing support of the channel! Hoping to make some more vids asap!
I absolutely love snowcat vids, keep them up!
Will do!! Hoping to make a lot this winter.. Thanks so much for tuning in!!
Rigs that size are very popular here in the east for snowmobile trails. Most trails out here aren’t over 10 ft

Good idea! The cat did wind up selling, but maybe the new owner will see this. Thanks a bunch for watching!!

I was wondering what happened to Backcountry Task Force.

How would you manage to get run over by it while operating?
There's almost zero way for it to happen. Thanks a bunch for watching!!

Is Stu still uploading on his channel?

What are the floats on the very back

Is it possible for those things to move with nobody in them safety features

Yeah, darn right! The Germans do it well. Stuart is hoping to pick up a newer PB when the time is right! Thanks so much for tuning in!!
Love the videos
What happened to stu’s channel
I loved the videos from both of you guys about the groomers
Keep ‘em coming

Then again, never say never. If you are interested in acquiring it, please send me an email at Samlovescars34@gmail.com! Thanks!!
WE NEED A NEW VIDEO! THANKS FELLAS!😊
True! Hopefully more coming up!! Thanks for watching!!
bro this sounds EXACTLY like old mercedes small trucks. must be the same engine and all
Right?! I said Isuzu, but really any big 4-cylinder diesel.. Thanks for watching!!!
Perhaps a microphone would be nice.
Yep I do apologize! During this video, I was using a terrible external mic, which somehow never worked well. I've since switched to something else, and it's better. Thanks for tuning in!!
Man that dude with the camera seemed pretty simple minded....if ya know what I mean.
He's a little "special" but holds the camera straight and seems to have decent knowledge of diesel engines, haha! Thank you very much for watching!!
SPEAK UP!!!
Yep, sorry about that! This mic was trash, and my audio is now a lot better. Although not perfect.. I appreciate you watching!!!
Now I can see how Jeremy Renner got chewed up. Stepping on the tracks to enter and exit is the culprit.
Yep they can be treacherous, in several ways. Thanks a bunch for tuning in!!!
