By the way if you add jin gitaxias to the deck you will be able to caste farwell twice in one turn while also making sure opponent doesn't counter it! Add another 70 cards + 2 more colours and prismatic bridge to ensure gingitaxias is coming and the deck is complete!
Therapist: What is it that makes you happy? How do you find joy? CGB: I like to go to places where people are having fun. Once there, I systematically stop them from having fun. Actually, I stop them from doing anything. I prolong the process so that the amount of time they spend not having fun and doing nothing is much much longer than they expected. For example, I make mono red play for 23 turns. Therapist: Uh... ok. I actually have no idea what that means. But I assume these people wronged you in some way then? Perhaps they did something that you feel they should pay for? CGB: No, they are just random people. I have no idea what they are like. Maybe some are bad people. I'm sure most aren't. Therapist: Uh.. Interesting. So is the issue that you feel guilt for doing this? Like you are keeping a painful secret from everyone? CGB: Not at all. I love it. And I definitely don't keep it a secret. I put video of it on the internet several times a day. I get hundreds of thousands of views. Therapist: So you are here because you want to stop doing this? CGB: Oh definitely not! It's the best! This doesn't hold up because the example given is against a mono red player so they absolutely have wronged you. No-funning a mono red player is just hitting them with an uno reverse.

CGB had TWO chances to grab a Wandering Emperor that could have gained some life, but instead went for a Jace. Once again mono red does a great job at punishing the greedy CGBs of this world.
The monored match up was a roller coaster. I'm an Italian player of the game and, trust me man, i LOVE THIS FUCKIN CHANNEL. Glory to the colours of the gathering.
I LOVED how your NEMESIS red deck got you at the 20th minute! Not only would Squee have killed you outright but they also had the Play with Fire on top of that in response to your Memory Deluge! Great content CGB!
12:55 a friend of mine and I played a lot of games with eachother testing out decks with high and low land counts. He was consistently drawing his lands with low land counts and was even having 2 or 3 lands in his opening hand with a deck that only ran 8 lands total. We are positive there is something going on under the hood that favors low land counts in Arena.
Well, they claim the only fixing the Arena shuffler does is it draws you two opening hands and picks the hand with a land count closer to your deck ratio... but with 8 lands that should mean it should favor one-land opening hands. Maybe there's an added line weighing it in favor of two or more lands since MOST decks would prefer to start with 2 lands at least.
You should start a series and do all the decks in meta but splash Jace... Like you kinda did with Yorion. May be there's a room for mono black Jace, or mono green Jace...
I don’t know if there’s a weird algorithm thing, but I haven’t seen any of your vids on my suggested page for the past 5 days. And I usually always watch when they come out.
Mill them Jace together with put cards back on deck endless detour removal and farewell to graveyards to prevent yourself to ever draw 3 cards. Seems like we found the holy trinity nombo :)
The last game is amazing. It doesn't matter if you win at 1 life or at 20, it only matters if the opponent is lower than 1. However, somehow it does matter that you win by leaving your opponent with 2 cards _in total_. Their board doesn't exist, their deck doesn't exist, their graveyard doesn't exist. All they have is two cards.
I just made a UW planeswalker deck with Ichormoon Guantlet. Honestly it’s not bad! You should try it out so I know if it’s really good or not cuz I haven’t tried it on ladder yet! When you get the chance of course I know your away from the studio!
I wonder if a Union of the Third Path or two deserves a slot here? already plenty of card draw to go with it, and could help buy time for those aggro decks

Last week we reached that number. there is a video on cgbs second channel (covertgotwo) from last week that explains it in more detail.
If your aggro deck can't beat someone before they get to 6 untapped lands, in arena, with the stupid-ass double-hand shuffler guaranteeing your perfect curve, you should really go back to playing solitaire.
@MetalHev this was kind of arrogant anwer. There are not only Aggro and Control Decks. And often you play more against the Shuffler instead against the Opponent.
@@MetalHev so you're saying that it's a well designed card because you can kill someone with a specific type of deck that has to run perfectly. Do y'all even read your comments before posting them?
I use Farewell in various decks and can’t wait to see it out of standard. It’s fine in historic and historic brawl, too much for standard. Aggro and control are definitely the most unfunny ways to play Magic.
CGB enjoys the „mill out your opponents deck with this 1 card“-wincondition way too much. Quite suspicious tbh, he wasnt a rouge player by any chance? SMH
Apologies but that 2nd game against the monored deck was piloted so badly. I enjoy a bit of nonsense as much as the rest of us and i also don’t see the best line every time but i cannot enjoy plays below a certain threshold. And i want to keep enjoying the show. Please.

They probably bottomed squee because they expected an emperor, and topping a burn spell would win them the game against that.

Absolutely shocked you didn't put some copies of Shigeki in this list
I've tried this on my own past season, and I'm guessing it's because Farewell and Shigeki really don't play well together. Even Deluge is borderline.
If you are playing green for the ramp, you may as we'll play copy or two of Tamyio. She can get your Jaces back from the graveyard.

"Joint Exploration" has to be my favorite card name in recent memory. Can't help but let out a juvenile giggle at the word "joint"

This deck is bad if it doesn't ramp turn 2
Maybe add Tamia to get jaces back
So the game forces you to lose and tries to force wins? How is that rng? And what does it matter if I liked the match? Its rng,... right!?
Why brokers? Put planeswalker tamiyo. Tamiyo + jace = 30 cards discarded. And why farewell? Its better depopulate or white sorcery from phyrexia
Brokers is a pseudo-counter spell and bounce spell, and farewell is better in a ramp deck because it deals with more strategies than just creatures
