Didn’t know you had an insta!! Following now and was SO excited I got to see you at Magicon Vegas 😊 thank you for signing my playmat on my back and thank you for being awesome! And just like THE 1 in best of 1 Kaito resolved just once as a spell.
I believe Kaito took a stroll on the stack just once, and he resolved quite nicely that one time! Amazing content, the last game had me on the edge of my seat. That demo field at the end was brutal! Incredible stuff, really like this style of Dimir over the Demon one, I gotta say. Keep the good stuff coming, CGB!
32:33 you could've attacked with reef, ertai, and the fish. Then if they block ertai or fish, you cut it down and win. If they block reef valgavoth dies.
On the other hand, ward is a triggered ability, so if you could target Valgavoth, you could then Tidebinder the ward and remove all his other abilities too, including the replacement.
Kaito resolved 1 time only. Love your content. Your commentating on the matches really helps to understand the decks, how to play them and situational awareness. Thank you for your hard work.
Yeah it's funny 'cause I think it resolved at least once in the first two matches... Looks like we're playing "guess randomly how many times a card resolves and comment so" 😂
Kaito resolved just once! I'm watching your videos (also Ashlizzle and LVD) on daily basis at work and it makes me super productive! Thanks a lot and keep doing great work, you are cool!
I love Golgari. Black and Green are Death and Life, each feeding into each other. Then there's Dimir, the salty watery death and manipulation. It's very fun to watch the out-thinking process. But my truest love? One that's been obsolete for a long time now? One that had the joys of Blue's control with the massive Timmy STOMP of green? Yeah. I miss Simic.
Yeeeeeah. Feel like it’s been quite a time since a t1 simic deck. I think they learned that it’s too strong from the last couple of times lol. On the other hand there is that budget simic beans crab terror deck. I do feel that was fun, tricky, but fun. There are some decent green pay offs like the phyrexian dino and the vault terror. You could maybe brew around them and not just be a midrange ramp deck haha
Simic Flash was an absolute terror. Simic definitely has some of my favorite creatures. Not much for spells though. Which makes a ton of sense when you think about it.
dw cgb, I watch the whole thing regardless of that box of neat stuff. I appreciate talking about the deck with the decklist a lot, ik it cant be every time but I appreciate it anytime
I just started playing magic, so no idea what any of these cards do, or how many times Kaito resolved. However, I enjoy your content, especially with Cimoooooooooooooo! Your explanations while playing are great, and your reactions in the cimo videos make me laugh every time. Thanks for making your content!
Kaito ressolves once to my understanding. Found you through Rarrar's collabs around when I started playing MTG during BLB and enjoyed your content ever since.
1 cast, 2 ninjutsu, and 5? loyalty activations. I'm tempted to say 3 but I believe 8 might be correct. So, 8 final answer since I'm reasonably certain that Casting and abilities use the stack and thus have too resolve. This was a great video, glad you seem to be doing well and love the 'real gameplay experience' that can happen like the red game and that rumble at the end.
After watching the video back over in 2x speed mode, I can confirm that Kaito resolved just once. I was honestly also looking for other cards resolving named Kaito for the extra trick, but I didn't see any :D
So if you're being real tricky "How many times did Kaito RESOLVE? My actual answer to how many times Kaito resolved would be 8 if i understand magic and its tricky rulings. Ninjutsu counts as resolving so 2 there. Hard cast and resolved 1 And planewalker abilities do resolve so 5 there. I could be misinterpreting rulings. I actually cant wait to hear the correct answer if I'm wrong. Thanks for the content!
[Trick answer] How many times in the video did Kaito RESOLVE? [Answer to question written on screen] 45:02 Kaito Resolved 8 times. 1 cast, 2 Ninjitsu abilities and 5 activated abilities. Elder Navarrete followed you on Instagram.
Well, hard casted Kaito resolved once, ninjutsu was two (which idk if you can counter a ninjutsu btw), and didn't count the loyalty abilities but about 4 or 5 times maybe?
Kaito resolved 1 time cos you cast it 1 time, i wish to be the luckiest Mesa Falcon guy if you pick me, always stay till the end, cool kids club from very beggining of yours💙
I don't think any creature warps the removal package of standard as much as unstoppable slasher. Odds of winning a game if it connects even once approach zero. Even if "all" it does is "just" 11 damage. Ability to control it with normal removal or trading in combat is also about zero. So everything needs to be exile or aura based. I'm running Unable to Scream, Anoint with Affliction, Blot Out, Leyline of the Void maindeck even in BO1, what else can you do
Since it is a "tricky" question, I'm just gonna have to guess that it's, well: How many times did Kaito resolve? But it might be one because I remember you casting it regularly once.
Not sure what the last match hand was, but losing the mastermind as your secondary win condition to the reef was rough, especially when you knew they had a demo in play already. Probably would have still lost as they most likely had removal in hand, but wasn't sure why throw away the mastermind on a Jace that can't make them effectively draw or mill you out of the game.
Love that this video showcased Kaito. I'm hoping to build a Yuriko deck soon and add him. Ninjutsu is so tricky!! Tricky abilities for tricky ninjas~~ Kaito technically only resolved once. Here's my understanding of how this works: Resolution - For a card to resolve, it must be cast or its ability must be activated. It has to enter the stack and complete its intended course of action. Thus, removing a target causing a spell to fizzle or countering a card means the card did not resolve. Ninjutsu - Kaito's ninjutsu ability is 1BU with the additional cost of returning an unblocked attacker to hand. If activated, the ability enters the stack and everyone else can interact with its ability on the stack (assuming priority). If priority passes back to you with no interaction (or all other spells/abilities resolving without interacting with the ninjutsu ability), Kaito's activated ability resolves and he enters the battlefield. The tricky thing is that it's Kaito's ability that resolves not Kaito (the planeswalker) itself. So Kaito's activated ability resolved twice in this video. Also, super tricky about ninjutsu, because returning an attacker is part of the cost, technically you have to reveal the ninja as you're activating its activated ability and the attacker is returned to the hand as part of the cost. This means you can safely return the attacker if it is being targeted with no real way to stop this action. However, you could still interact with Kaito's ninjutsu ability while still on the stack by countering it. If successfully countered, your attacker is still in hand because it was part of the cost of activation. Even more tricky, if there are two unblocked attacking creatures, you could still activate Kaito's ability again to return the other creature to hand and still get him through (assuming no more interaction); but this will cost you 2BBUU and returning 2 unblocked attackers to hand. LMK if my understanding is right! Trying to learn the ins and outs of the Yuriko deck before piloting it.
@@Odelatog Might be a wording issue. If the question as plain as, "does it resolve", in this case it being Kaito, then yeah! I guess Kaito technically resolved 3 times (in this case resolving being whether Kaito was cast and entered the battlefield or his activated ability [ninjutsu] resolved).
At 42:46, why not make a fish token and chump the cottage? Would have saved you 3 life? (And thereby left you on enough life to allow you to make more fish tokens?)
Kaito resolved once because ninjitsu doesn’t go on the stack to be resolved. Thanks for the great content. It makes me feel better that am not the only one struggling in best of one
Kaito himself resolved once, the "ninjutsu" ability resolved twice, Kaito's loyalty abilities resolved 4 times.
Didn’t know you had an insta!! Following now and was SO excited I got to see you at Magicon Vegas 😊 thank you for signing my playmat on my back and thank you for being awesome!

I think he can just animate reef, cut down ertai and counter the trigger with tide binder and win
Valgavoth's ability doesn't go on the stack, so it can't be countered.
@@deadneck13 Is that because it's a replacement ability, and not a triggered ability?
@mikekingsley7685 yes, that is correct.
On the other hand, ward is a triggered ability, so if you could target Valgavoth, you could then Tidebinder the ward and remove all his other abilities too, including the replacement.
Always a pleasure seeing your videos daily! Kaito resolved 1time (casted) and ninjitsu twice!!
Kaito resolved once! I watch these when I’m eating dinner and listen to your videos with other creators on the way to work.
Kaito resolved 1 time only. Love your content. Your commentating on the matches really helps to understand the decks, how to play them and situational awareness. Thank you for your hard work.
Hum...he actually -2 a Kaito on the field and played a 2nd one the same turn so it resolved more than once, no?
Yeah it's funny 'cause I think it resolved at least once in the first two matches... Looks like we're playing "guess randomly how many times a card resolves and comment so" 😂
Kaito resolved just once!
I'm watching your videos (also Ashlizzle and LVD) on daily basis at work and it makes me super productive! Thanks a lot and keep doing great work, you are cool!
The spell itself resolved only once, while the ability resolved multiple times. Just started playing magic and its been great to learn from you!
Kaito's ninjutsu ability resolved two times, but the answer you're looking for is that he himself resolved once.
I love Golgari. Black and Green are Death and Life, each feeding into each other.

Kaito Resolved one time! Thanks for all your videos, has helped me learn a great deal with deck building.
Second game was exceptional. Great showing by both players.
I just started playing magic, so no idea what any of these cards do, or how many times Kaito resolved. However, I enjoy your content, especially with Cimoooooooooooooo! Your explanations while playing are great, and your reactions in the cimo videos make me laugh every time. Thanks for making your content!
Kaito resolved only 1 time, when you cast him to tap down the guy that gives -2/-2. The rest were all ninjutsu
Kaito resolved 1 time (on cast). Love your content, great IQ plays, love your attitude. Hoping to see more 🙏🏼
After watching through the video again, I would say Kaito resolved only once :D
Keep the videos coming!
Kaito ressolves once to my understanding. Found you through Rarrar's collabs around when I started playing MTG during BLB and enjoyed your content ever since.
Kaito did one resolve during the video! Thanks for the content!
I believe Kaito resolved one time since you only casted him from your hand once. Man I love this set in both brawl and standard.
Kaito resolved 1 time but if we count how many times it enetered the battlefield, ninjitsu and being cast, it's a total of 3 times.
Kaito resolved once! not counting the ninjutsu. Thanks for the video! Deck looks sweet
Kaito resolved once, since Kaito's abilities do not count as Kaito himself resolving
Kaito only resolved once, cause ninjutsu is an ability.
Love you videos. I myself only play commander, but still enjoy your standard gameplay :D
I've been playing a version of this deck too, such a cool awesome collection. When it pops off, its insane
Kaito resolved once. Thank you for the video, I love me some Dimir.
Watching you play control is very relaxing :)
Kaito resolved exactly one time in the video 😊

Kaito resolved one time, fantastic lunchtime content to keep me motivated.
The *spell* "Kaito, Bane of Nightmares" resolved exactly once

Kaito resolved indeed only once, all the other times he just jumped into action=)
it’s 1 time only! love ur content bro 👍 love from malaysia
Love the content CGB, Kaito Resolved 1 time, but was Ninjitsu'd twice
Kaito was put into the battlefield 3 times, and I think all of them where on the 1st and 2nd game wich speaks about the consistency of mtg.
It only RESOLVED once tho, when you casted it.

Kaito resolved once by casting, twice by ninjutsu
Kaito resolved 1 time!

How many times did Kaito resolve? Just the once, since ninjutsu is a special action.

Kaito resolved one time. It's only once because the other times he got cast for his ninjustu cost

Kaito resolved once, because he was only 1 time casted. Ninjutsu is not casting a spell :D
Kaito technically resolved only once, the other two times he entered naruto style
Kaito resolved one time. We still love him though.
1 time.... i want to be ninja great song btw
Kaito resolved one, he did come down from Ninjitsu a few times

Well I'm new to magic so I'm not sure what counts as kaito resolving... You cast him once but he entered the field 3 times. Good luck everyone.
if I remember correctly you only cast Kaito once so it resolved once.
Kaito came into play many times but only resolved one time
Kaito resolved only once in this video. :)
Kaitl resolved one time! Mono red is almost dead just a few more days!
