As an owner of the first generation RX 300, with the factory tires the SUV can't do shit on snow. I know this because up here in Canada we go through this every winter. Switched to some quality Michelin tires and there is no comparison. The car handles Canadian winters very well with good winter tires. Definitely looking forward to buying the next-gen RX hybrid (LF-Xh) And we're talking about 30cm of snow right here in Toronto as we speak.
well after all ppl saing it won't work on snow, I tried mine with good winter tires on a steep hill. it rushed up with no problems. just get REAL wintertires with a good rating.
Well it didn't go that bad in that kind of snow! Did you get stuck afterwards? I may try to go an snowy uphill tomorrow. Risky but if i get stuck, i'll just go back.
it, not start beeping, but the traction on snow isn't good. Maybe because the tyre are hi-performance and not snow-tyre. The biggest problem is that you can't shift down gear because it's only automatic. bye
I've just a test drive with this lexus, i love this car but it's very bed on snow. Ok, I've summer tyres, but the street was flat without hill, and the car move very slow. better my Mercedes G... ;-)
Bad filming and no real challenge. I could do that in my front wheel drive station wagon, while pulling a trailer. Snow on the ground like that is no challenge for any car, as long as you have propper tires.
no,no, you not sound rude, really, the problem is that i don't speak english very well, so, sometimes i wrote something that may sound rude. i did not understand very well the second part of your message, cordially, bye!
Seriously, hold the camera still!! LOL There is no Snow Mode on the RX400h, I watched this as I wondered what they were like in snow, this really does not demonstrate that at all! It was PANTS!
sorry for the shake, but the snow was slippering!! I have tested the performance of rx400h on snow with bridgestone potenza, and the SUV was not very well... bye
My mustang can handle that snow, and its a RWD. A rx300 can kick ass in that kind of snow, as with all other videos people post here of them playing in snow. the driver sucks, now the car.
well i am very biased towards european cars ill admit, and even though a japanese car will be more reliable i would buy an american car over a japanese one because since WW2 most oriental cars were a copy of a european car, or a combination of several, but atleast american cars dont copy other " out of their class" companies, like Honda Pilot and Land rover Range Rover.
@maggiolino1973 pagliaccio, rispetto alla tua misera e patetica vita, questi 40 secondi sono quelli che hai speso meglio. Fai silenzio e torna a guidare il tuo maggiolino.

I like the crunching sound of the snow :)
it's true...lexus is horrible on snow, but on the road it's a really great car.

a Mercedes? LOL is that the brand that's according to consumer quality reports is less reliable when brand new then a 10 year old Lexus?
