Good job friend if you’re very smart I have a battery the same I think it doesn’t work anymore it doesn’t turn on my Toyota Highlander hybrid 2007 where can you repair it?
Fantastic! Very professional demonstration and presentation. Very clearly explained. Question: Are these rebuild kits still available for a 2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid in November, 2023?
@Palmetto Battery Pros Sorry I was making reference to the 3 small casing that the battery cells are clamped in, not the big casing that everything goes into. Sorry for not explaining
Great video. I build LFE batteries. I was wondering if you know anything about the bms specs or cell voltage. Would wiring LFE chemistry batteries work with the BMS? I've done research in the past on the strange and frankly horrible ni-Mh cells they use and IIRC they seemed similar in voltage to the 3.2v Nominal if arranged correctly, I'd think the bms voltage range would be fine Or even Sodium ion could work if the chemistry is better than it used to be (I've heard they've evolved recently).
Thank you for the detailed explanation, I have one question I hope you have time to answer it ! Is it possible to upgrade the battery, like getting bigger battery?!
Thank you for professional video. my 2006 rx400h has a message on dash "CHECK HYBRID SYSTEM " and triangle light is on. but doesn't have any code on it. Do you have any idea for that? Thank you again
Is previous model years very popular generations RX 450h with NiMeH battery has replacement kit, or refurbished battery than cost much less than Lexus dealerships offer?
Is this replacement battery from Japan or from China? Which company makes it? Have you had any issues at all with this particular replacement battery? Thank you.
We have since stopped importing these batteries and are directing everyone to GreenTech Auto. They sell similar batteries. These were manufactured in China.
I have a 2007 Lexus RX 400h the vehicle does not go to the ready position and would not start until one of the battery (hood) poles is taken out and put back. Does any one knows how to fix this problem. The problem started when the vsc light came on .
I see SOOOO MANY SHORTS WAITING to happen with the assembly of this. Never place wires in contact with metal that can eventually wear/ erode/ vibrate thru them. All of those wires used for battery module monitoring should have been oriented diagonally off to the side or horizontal as much as possible across the the battery bus bars to ensure nothing shorts out. WOW.... this is a NIGHTMARE waiting to happen from what I see. I am also disliking the fact there are NO METAL HEAT SINKS in contact with these green batteries for thermal distribution Lastly... the Temp Sensors should have been laced thru the batteries near the back of them with contact points at Bottom, Middle and TOP because of thermodynamics HEAT RISING. Last but not least.... I realize this is OEM battery design, but it should have been completely encased in a sealed container with dielectric fluid and ran to an external cooling system. Unsure if that is how the NEW batteries are now configured, but this is an Obvious Failure in this design from my observation. To reduce thermal stress on All of this.... I would ADD another battery module like this or figure out how to reconfigure the layout to place in another pare of the vehicle to increase battery storage capacity. It already has it's own computer monitoring the battery, so is there any reason not to figure out how to wire this in parallel to another battery module system and find a place in the vehicle to mount it such as under the driver and passenger seats? Would take some engineering/ designing..... but that is what Mechanical Engineers like myself do I guess. LOL I SEE PROBLEMS and want to FIX them for Minimizing/ Eliminating issues.
You should take this info to the Lexus/Toyota engineers and to the engineers of the after-market battery suppliers. Note: We have just stopped using this product and in the process of removing these videos. This was the better options a couple years ago, now we recommend GreenTech auto as a trusted Hybrid Battery supplier.
Fires have never been an issue with Ni-Mh. The chemistry has been around since the 70’s and mass produced since the late 1990s. The cells are low voltage and low ah.. not much more than an alkaline battery. We have had great success with the aftermarket hybrid batteries.
They'd be out of business offering a 4 year warranty on these if that were the case. Personally I'll spend the extra money to get a battery from Toyota, though. Too critical of a component for me to cheap out on, and they last a long damn time.
@@GrandPrix46Toyota also uses nimh oem. Hence the shitty 1mi range this system has in full EV according to their spec page... The chemistry sucks but it's cheap and safer.
@@PalmettoBatteryPros you have so many experts helping you out here! Isn’t it a privilege? 😂 oh serious note your videos are awesome and your advice is very sound. My brother has a Toyota Highlander hybrid that needs a battery. I’m sending him to you.
Excellent camera angles and explanations.
Many thanks!!
Absolutely thorough and professional in every way.
Thank you so much!
That was a very detailed and informative video. Great job!
Thank you very much, hard to do these jobs and film them.

Yes, we ship them balanced directly from the manufacturer.
Where i can order them From@@PalmettoBatteryPros
Can the battery modules from the old pack be disassembled and be replaced with new modules in the same casing
Yes, we rebuild these batteries using the existing battery case. That is a large part of the savings of using aftermarket rebuild kits.

Do you know how to rebuild lexus es300h 2016 battery sir?
I have not had the chance to do one of those yet

I'm sorry, I'm not understanding your question. We recommend contacting GreenTech auto for more information.
How much those batteries cost for highlander hybrid 2006 please let me know.,,!
I have the rebuild kit available for $3480 to your door.
How do you test for voltage on one battery pack
If you’re talking about voltage on each of the 3 battery banks inside the big battery.. I test at the first positive and last negative.
And how do you know the + and - on the battery pack
Does this have a cooling fan
Never mind lol
No worries, anytime
Which battery is better? Ennocar or yabotechnology? Or they are absolutely similar?
Hello can I buy the A, B, C modules from you?
Only 2 questions..... what with cooling system?(temperature of modules) and their resistance?
Cooling is done with 3 battery cooling fans with airflow from cabin.

From what I saw here, this replacement battery looks really cheap, some cells will probably explode and the car will catch on fire. Just saying...
