Do you think they are stupid to show the real horrible sound at the fridge is actually making? No. They only care about the money.

This is about "refrigerator sounds" yet no examples are provided, only background music and running commentary. Mostly useless.

When she mentions to not worry if you hear "high pitched, popping, hissing, cracking, sizzling, pulsating noises" and that these are common noises, you do need to be concerned as these noises are constant on and off all day and all night long and may not be something you're not willing to live with, especially if you live in a small condo or apartment. They are loud. At least this has been my experience with a unit in the $700 range - a very basic top-freezer unit. I love the interior layout of the fridge and beautiful lighting inside, and it performs exactly as a fridge should as far as cooling and freezing. Really nice. However, the noises have been very distressing, keep me up at night, and over a period of one year have progressively gotten louder and unbearable. The unit may simply be defective although the technicians each stated it's doing what it's suppose to do.

Yes, when she said that, I thought this video might be a parody. My fridge is so noisy I have to unplug it when I'm recording music.

I have been listening to loud annoying gurgling grinding since a brand new unit was installed Jan.2021 My new place is small and I now wear earplugs at night to escape from the noise. Two service calls have not fixed it as well as much time spent on hold with whirlpool..Whirrrrpoo

@@rayt.3143 The dealer who sold me the fridge ( General Applianece ,Lacombe Alberta was very accomodating and replaced the unit with an upgrade. Whirlpool never offered any recourse except a recent video on the noises a fridge makes. I know what a normal fridge sounds like and I know what is unacceptable.Good luck Ray

I came on here to say: Whirlpool, you are doing a disservice by posting a video that not only does not provide samples of the sounds related to the video title, but wastes all our time with pointless background music. I see I am far from alone in stating how useless this video is. From the title, I thought I might learn something about particular noises my brand new Whirlpool refrigerator is making. Do better, Whirlpool.

I also purchased a whirlpool for about 2600 a little over a year ago. They said this clicking sound is normal but it is driving us crazy. We don’t have the extended warranty and the refrigerator works fine. Just can’t take this sound anymore. Not sure what to do.

Fuck whirlpool. I bought a fridge 2 years ago. Compressor went out in it. I called them and they said it was out of warranty. Found my paperwork with receipt which clearly stated that the compressor had a 5 year warranty. Then they told me that the compressor should last longer than 2 years and that they did not believe that was it. Then they said well you might have to call a fridge repair man. Customer service sucks

None of these weird noises are our fault, they are definitely the homeowners. We at whirlpool couldn’t possibly make a piece of junk in a faraway country by little kids. Please refrain from calling us. We will not answer your call. We have one person answering the phone and they dont speak English. Thankyou for paying thousands of dollars for your refrigerator our stockholders and CEO appreciate it.

The dealer who sold me the noisy appliance (General Appliance Lacomobe Alberta ) was very helpful and replaced the unit with an upgraded different make and model .Whirlpool was never helpful and maintained there was nothing they could do. Re: the recent video Whirlpool sent: I know what a normal appliance sounds like..and replacing copper pipe with aluminum
is a bad experiment in sound engineering. Noise pollution is annoying!!

I really thought my new $2600 whirlpool fridge was going to be a pleasure to own. It’s become a sound effects freak show. Clicking, popping, clacking, hissing. On occasion it makes a faint noise mimicking a phone ringing somewhere in another room, like a refrigerator mockingbird. Sometimes I think there’s a poltergeist trapped in this crazy POS. I mean of all the bizarre surprises one encounters when buying a new appliance, this one wins the Oscar. I can no longer relax in our kitchen/family room while this freak show of a refrigerator random noise generator is performing 24/7 all year long. Worst brand on the planet!

Whirlpool refrigerators are junk!!! made cheaply and if you like hearing loud and weird noises, then buy one. If you need service forget about it, I had mine serviced 9 times with multiple phone calls to customer care (what a joke) They are trained to say I'm so sorry. I would love to have someone from corporate try and live with this noisy piece of garbage in there home.
